  1. Who would like to have more armor skins that show the charrs fur?
  2. I think its the best to wait untill u played all new especs from EoD. It could be, that you will like the new engi spec a lot. (Or maybe another medium armour user) Personally I think the legendary armour only really worth on characters that can do everything and also often many things at once ( so like ele and engi). Because there changing builds may need completely different stats. Also maybe a mix of several stats. For other professions I think 3 or max. 4 sets of an asc armour is enough for anything u need. On my ele I have around 12 builds with 10 different stat. So there the legendary armour is really perfect and great. I only play engi for a while...but I feel the same potential there. There r so many builds and ways to play. I guess it's better if u ask this question yourself, since u main engi so far. - How many different builds do u play in the whole game in all game modes? - do you enjoy build crafting on the engi? - will you enjoy the engi much more, if you could just switch stats and test new and crazy builds? - do you like changing your armour skins a lot? ( on which profession the most) I had a break from ele 3 years because it felt not rewarding and too complicated to use. But after getting the legendary armour on it, I love it more than ever. I keep making new builds and I try to get the full potential out of this class. If you think the same will be for you on engi, then medium armour would be great. If you want to have this experience with another profession (that you didn't main before), then just get a few exotic sets and make a lot of different builds on it. See if u might like it or not. Also...Legendary armour on rev and guardian could be also great, if u don't like build crafting at all, and u want to get the most out of it.
  3. More Build Templates and Storages would be great! For buildcrafters the current amount is really little. I have everything the max. and its filled only with elementalist builds. With more Elite Specs there will be less and less space.

  5. U can try any character as lvl 80 in the PvP Area. Even lvl 2 characters r lvl 80 there. And u can hit and fight the golems and NPCs there. But also consider the elite specs, they change the way a proffesion is played. Core classes r sometimes really annoying and weak, but the new elite specializations make it really great (engi for example). If u buy the expansion, then u can also test the elite specs even without learning them first.

  7. A new type of map completation would be cool :) To finish all maps again with a debuff. So hardcore player do that solo, and casual just run it in groups and its easy for them.
  8. I think it would be extremly cool, if it was possible for core alone. It would make core classes feel fresh again, and someone can use a weapon without annoying new mechanics. I really hope i could play a core ele with sword...would be far less confusing and easier to react to the situation.
  9. Sounds really cool for me :) Actually thats what i thought elementalist gona be after playing GW1. I love GW2 elementalist how it is, but i think its really boring if all elite specs gona have the "Master of none" playstyle. But traits rely on switching elements....so thats why i thought haveing only 2 elements will be easier to implement.
  10. only if everyone could choose their dificulty....so like get like -3 lvl downscaled with a bit higher rewards or normal gameplay..or even +2 lvl higher with less rewards Just make a new character that you only use with your friend, what's the issue here? thats what i did...and the new character is even stronger sometimes than my main character..... If it is, then instead of gearing yourself, maybe help with gearing your newb friend instead. i did :) hes even geared better than me

  13. This doesn't seem like a GW2 issue. What is it then :) ?At Launch it was a selling point that vetrans can play with new player and both have fun. So now im playing this game for 9 years and my friend started 1 month ago....and im struggeling not to steal the kills from him. What exactly is your friend doing so wrong that you are stealing all the kills? Low level gear isn't doing much of a difference. Maybe you should inform your friend on how to use their skills better, or have your friend use a ranged weapon, if you are using a ranged weapon and kill all the mobs.I think hes doing nothing wrong. He just plays the game for 1 month only like 1h per day max. I want him to learn the game experience everything in his pace.If i see monster, i just attack them. If hes not seeing them because he runs somewhere else i follow him...then he see them and kill them. But during that time i should not attack any of the monster, because they r already at 70% HP because i attacked them once. (and each of my autoattacks do 20-30% dmg) To be honest...the greatest fun we had at the grawl champ in the charr starter area...i got down like 4 times and he felt like a hero rezzing me.
  14. but im killing everything in 3 autoattacks @__@ thats not even skills, knowledge or experience....it take a lot of practice and effort to actually hit everything only 1 time and not more, if there is a wave of 5 monster running to us.

I fail to see how this is a GW2 problem.ok.....then i gona accept the very sad fact that experienced player and new player cant play together and both have fun :( I really thought downscaling excists that higher lvl player can play with lower lvl player together..... Well..if downscaling was adjustable then it could solve many problems and all player can be playing happily hand in hand....

  17. But its too hard for my friend :< i wish there was a way we both can play where he wants and i dont get bored or i dont steal his kills...but i guess since its impossible to make my lvl lower, i can just wear bad gear
  18. So..just tested different monster...they r down in 1 (3 hits) - 2 (6 hits) autoattack chains... Well to be fair thats not 1 shoting x) (yet, because im not lvl 80 and not geared).....but its still super hard for me to play with my friend and not kill everything first :/ i guess i just keep bad gear for now...
  19. I have a lvl 29 char with lvl 25 gear (full). And i kill everything in 2 or 3 autoattacks only. Its something to buy for 25 silver in the trading post...
  20. My experience is actually the opposite. The average OW player scales up content more with their presence than they contribute, effectively just making me get hit harder and have to do more total damage (or stopping constantly and taking extra hits to ress).That's part of my critique of the game coddling it's players way too much, especially the outdated core experience - as it just completely removes the incentive for players to improve to overcome hurdles, which has progressed to a point where having other players around in the OW is actually a tangible detriment (at least for the proficient player). The thing is GW2 used to be a lot harder at launch and through it's prime.Running around self-buffed with 25 Might, Fury (and some cases Quickness) was utterly unthinkable at launch. Healing was more limited, damage much lower. Powerful open world options like the Diviner Stat set or Firework Runes didn't exist. Elite Specs weren't a thing. Many skills had longer cooldowns, less or or no cleave at all and so on. One little example, Ranger's Maul went from a 6 second Cooldown, single Target 300 base Damage ability, with a 1.1 Power coefficient and a Minor Bleed at 150 range at launch; to a 700 base Damage Ability, with a 1.75 Power coefficient, with extra Vulnerability, 5 Target nuke at 220 range at a 4 second Cooldown - for which, if that wasn't enough, an instant CD reset was added to Hilt Bash, which, together with the increase to Might, Fury and Vulnerability access, basically increased it's damage potential by sheer tenfold, leading to the little engaging oneshot gameplay we have today. OW, at GW2's peak, was actually a lot more difficult and engaging. The content, both numerically and design wise just has not at all kept up with the massive increase in efficacy and variation of player tools, let alone the increase of skill at the game for those who bothered to learn it's mechanics, old and new alike. The majority of mobs being literally oneshot by players wasn't a conscious design decision, nor what attracted many of us to the game initially (besides coming from GW1).It's not that the game wasn't designed for us, much of it's content just became outdated and obsolete over time, that being the new player/learning experience is now largely responsible for the harmfully massive skill gaps and Anet's struggle with creating and maintaining widely appealing content avenues. i wish i could give u 100 Thumbs Up. I dont know why some people think its normal to 1 shot stuff....

Also..i dont care about badges...im not into sitting on the forum and writting 1k+ comments :)
  22. So....MMORPG means "massively multiplayer online role-playing game". But are you happy or not happy to meet other play in open world? And why? If u r not happy, what changes do u suggest? (only gw2 experience)
  23. I didnt had this problem in the past....but lately i cant see the animation of the enemie because i attack them and the numbers r completly covering the monster. So i cant evade attacks perfectly :< Anyone knows if there is a way to make the nr smaller or even remove them? (i mean i can see the DMG also on the health bar)
  24. I only enjoy boss fights with small groups(2-4). So everyone support everyone and the effects r not that flashy. With more than 5 player the effects are too crazy and its far too difficult to even see something....with 20+ player i cant even see myself anymore but only a big ball of light and effects. Thats the reason why i do a meta maybe 1 time per month only.... In raids i completly rely on the comander tag and the yellow edge...otherwise i would not see whats going on and constantly kill myself and the group. I even tried every possible grafic setting...but nothing helps :<
