  1. This is a quality of life downgrade. Please give an option to use the old system.Having to remember to switch builds every time I enter/leave WvW etc. is a pain up the rectum. We need to return to autoswitching on gamemode change asap.
  2. I have gained nothing from the implementation of templates.I have lost auto-switching of builds between PvE and WvW.For me this is bad.Please roll back the patch or reimplement auto switching of builds between PvE and WvW.
  3. Roll it back - I preferred the pre-patch system where you auto switched builds between PvE and WvW. It has also deleted the WvW builds for most of my characters (a few retained their WvW builds in slot 3).Not properly thought out, not properly tested, save me nothing but creates extra work for me to play.
  4. I already tried that one, but the NPC in the grove isn't active for the collection on those characters and gives the same standard non-collection related dialog.
  5. Stuck at 23/25 targets - why can't there be some way of knowing which targets I haven't hit yet?

I have completed the Gourmet Training collection but some of my characters (who are chefs) are still dropping the "Varietal Seed" collection item from herb nodes if they don't already have one in their inventory.Can you please turn off this drop for accounts that have completed the collection as having to use a bag slot permanently for a "Varietal Seed" is annoying.
  7. No the poster is not referencing Deadeyes. Vanilla thief - went into stealth when I and one other approached to kill his catapult. He then did a constant stream of condi damage until I went down without him being revealed at any time. I used all of my condi clears etc.He appeared for a blink of an eye when he finished me and instantly restealthed. He then did the same to my ally. At least with the old permastealth build the occasional AOE chill or fear would occasionally give you a window when they failed to restealth or their stealth CD was extended. Neither worked in this case.
  8. Seriously having a class that can bring someone down and finish them while remaining invisible the entire time is broken.

  10. WvW promotion weeks are a good idea. Wasting resources on stupid gimmicks that no-one wants and puts people off playing is a bad idea.Please give us the bonus week without the gimmicks. It will be far more popular. Use the developer resources on something that people actually want.
  11. Perhaps kill counts could be added to these achievements so you can see if it isn't registering the kills or when it is resetting the count?
  12. To complete the rife achievement I need Chasing Tales: Preemptive strike.Killed 15 consecutive creatures with rifle today without taking damage (I checked the combat log) and yet still no achievement :(Is there a bug with this achievement now?
  13. I never had a problem with the wintersday JP, but the clock tower JP is one I have never managed and it isn't for want of trying.
  14. The same is true for the Fortuna Dirgecaller Hero Point at Meddler's Summit in Cursed Shore. Shows as active but she cannot be attacked.

On the same basis it only takes 5 seconds to open the inventory and click your novelty item, in fact with this new system if you wish to switch between different kites or between different instruments it actually takes longer than it did before as you have to open the character menu, then the wardrobe, then novelties, put the new item into the novelties UI slot, close it all and then select it from the UI. Under the old system you just opened the inventory and clicked the novelty item. On time basis we should scrap the entire new novelty wardrobe and go back to the old system (which personally I actually preferred).

Something that would greatly improve QoL for WvW players would be a special bag - maybe call it a "Blueprint Folder" or "Blueprint Folio" in which we can store all of our WvW blueprints and give it a quick access button on-screen which would allow us to pick something from the folio without us having to open our entire inventory.As mounts aren't used in WvW maybe put the button where the mounts button usually is?From a WvW player's perspective this is 100 times more important than any novelties wardrobe.
  17. Still a common problem if map chat is to be believed.Following yesterdays patch it seems even worse - on a couple of occasions it has dropped me underneath the map when mounting up in Divinity's Reach.
  18. I just wish they had a "kill me now" option for that bathazar fight once you have completed it with one character. After doing it with the first couple of characters it just becomes a frustrating time sink with the rest.
  19. Your "answers" aren't answers at all but patronising claptrap. All of your "problem solved" lines are absolute rubbish.Many people are guild capped.Why should people who aren't in guilds now be forced to join one to play with the same people regularly. They are not the ones who created the server imbalance issue so why should they be the ones punished for it?I have seen guilds try and merge before and they usually fall apart because merging guilds always seems to create political friction.Server identity and community does exist - there are a lot of people out there who have never transferred servers, or have transferred server only once because they selected the wrong server by accident when creating their account.In fact the people complaining about the proposed changes in chat the most are scouts who cite server identity and community as the reason why they scout. The population imbalance issue was created by uncontrolled server hopping. This solution rewards the people who created the server imbalance and punishes those who didn't. You final paragraph is without substance. People unhappy with the status quo are more likely to visit forums. If you don't visit the forums you don't post on them. Therefore people unhappy with WvW as it stands are vastly more likely to visit the forums and thereby become aware on this thread and post to it.In the past 3 hours I have seen more negative than positive posts about the proposed changes in WvW team chat along with an number of issues that hadn't occurred to me - one question someone raised was "What about language servers"? The current system isn't perfect but the proposals look worse.
  20. You do realise that the name "Guild Wars" comes from game lore and has absolutely nothing to do with player guilds right so the name of the game has absolutely nothing to do with WvW?
  21. I think this could be the end of WvW for me, and listening to team and guild chats the end of WvW for many.It seems like Anet are rewarding the people who caused the imbalance problems in the first place and screwing over those that didn't.
  22. The fight they really need to overhaul is the one in PoF where Balthazar actually does kill you. The first time through is fine, but when you repeating it with other characters it is just frustrating knowing that you have to get Balthazar to a certain health point before he will kill you and you are fighting in a decreasing area with lots of aoe spamming all over the place. You just want to get it over with so you can get onto the next chapter but it just drags on and on. It is so depressing it almost makes you want to stop playing.
  23. Never heard Steve used as a nickname for anything in GW2.The only nickname I have ever seen used regularly in GW2 is "Henry" which is the Veteran Wurm in WvW borderlands.
