Would you give all that to people you don't trust and let them run around with it?

Have you considered buying a used desktop maybe?
I got one just for GW2 after my previous one died.
Got an i3 7100 + GTX 1050 + 32 GB RAM for very cheap.
Not amazing, but good enough for GW2.
You can find some amazing deals with patience 🙂

I wouldn't reccommend using other peoples configs. Learning how to use the software will pay off big time. It's not too complicated 🙂
It's almost imposiible to find a config that will fit you perfectly, rather than just map it to your own preferences.

In the end that's the question, why am i working this hard just to play the story. The PVE story should not be a kittening grind!
No one should be fired. I don't like these maze liked maps either. But it's a design choice. One you disagree with, so give your feedback, kind of lame to call for someone to lose their job over it.
I would like to tell you it won't happen again, but it will.
Tangled depths in the HoT expansion is the worst when it comes to these kind of maps.

If the AI is decent, the big upside about solo instanced content with AI is giving casuals a place with no pressure to learn the mechanics of each instance.
This was huge for me in FFXIV.
Now that I mentioned one of the downsides before I thought I would balance it out 🙂

I'm a casual and prefer to play alone, but I do enjoy talking to people in map chat and just having people being around me, gives me an experience I don't find elsewhere.
I also do like having randoms around me when doing events etc.
I don't like to be in a party where people are dependent on me to play to a certain standard.
I like to chill when I play being able to take a break whenever I want to etc

The downside is that it takes away activity from the LFG. FFXIV did it in shadowbringers though. So not impossible I suppose.
I like the idea as well, doubt it will ever happen though.
Edit: With decreased rewards for solo play, it probably wouldn't have a big impact though

I didn't like the story either.
I didn't even like Guild Wars 2 first time I played. Started as an asura, and wasn't a fan of the aesthetics in Maguma, still ain't.Oh well. 6k hours later, here I am .. Still .. ^^

I take Skyscale any day.
Beeing able to mount up, fly up and then be free from getting attacked by mobs is an underrated QoL feature of the skyscale. Makes the game so much less frustrating 🙂
I automatically do it just before I use the map, chat, trading post, inventory etc without thinking about it at this point.
Everything that takes me away from the gameplay, I mount up on skyscale ^^
Think of all the time I've saved running away or getting into fights I would rather not do.
So yeah, Skyscale's AFK feature is amazing
Edit: I'm afk browsing the forums as we speak hovering above an event destination that i'm waiting for to begin, without worrying about getting attacked or dying, having to run all the way to the event again ^^

Be aware though that shared slots are VERY expensive. Getting max shared slots is no joke.

My uncertainty:
- If you have a basic account and buy the big bundle (all 3 expansions), you will receive 1 or 2 shared slots? Probably 1 as advertised?
- If you buy all expansions separately, you will receive 3 shared slots from them?
- If you get only 1 or 2 slots from the three expansion bundle, will you be locked forever from maximizing the shared slots? Or can you still buy the missing ones with gems to reach the total of 25?
If this is true and you can no longer buy the expansion related slots with gems, then people like me that intend to buy the whole bundle, will forever have their account limited to 23-24 maximum slots. That is where my problem is, I wouldn't mind to buy them separately if I could, but from what I understand that is not possible.

Didn't know that people who didn't buy the expansions previously had the max possible shared slots decreased.
I agree that it seems to be a weird decision from Arena Net. I figured the max slot cap was because of limitations , but apparently not if you are able to get more than what is able to be purchased.
Seems like it would only benefit them to just increase the cap for people who don't own the shared slots from HoT/PoF and soon EoD.

Taco will show fast route on each map, with mounts and taco it's very fast. But you will still have to put in the work to get map completion. It has decent rewards afterall 🙂

Ignore him and move on. You will find this in every game sadly, unless you only play single player games.
I had one whisper me after an argument in say chat threatening "I will beat you in PVP".
I just answered "I'm sure you will, I suck".
He didn't really seem to know how to deal with it, not his usual response.
We actually ended up being friendly when we said our goodbyes 🙂
But it can be quite unpleasant when you get death treats in PVP. Yeah I know there's no danger from angry people in a video game, but it can still be quite shocking that some people are willing to go that far.
Best thing to do is just to ignore/report and move on.
Certainly don't quit the game because of this, then they won.

Don't you have to make/link your account for it to count? Doesn't seem like it would be very useful to determine how many people have expansions/Griffon then, since people signing up are much more likely to be people already owning the expansion and already being heavily invested into the game. F2P players and casuals are much less likely to bother looking up their efficiency.

The only thing I found that felt very grindy about the skyscale was getting the season 4 mats.
That has never been easier now with the "seasons of the dragons" collection.
You don't even have to do that whole collection (allthough rewards are crazy), you can just get to tier 3 on all the season 4 maps.

It was one of these for me.
Tried it 2 times but didn't understand the mechanics on the boss.
Asked in LA if someone would help me for 5G, and I had it done fairly quickly though.
Oh and ofc ember bay puzzle
Overall it's quite easy to get done. Easiest legendary ever 😄
Perfect for getting mats for skyscale and vision/aurora also.
