  1. I park all of my characters in Armistice Bastion. You still get the transforms and open world buffs there.
  2. how? according to the wiki's research statistics, you have about a 70-75% change to get a transform or a booster that will get stripped in raids/pvp/wvw. So if you aren't playing open world, you just waste candy corn 70-75% of the time...
  3. I get more transforms than anything... Like how is this an actual item?
  4. Have you played harbinger? Decent boon support, but its way to squishy for a lack of short cooldown stunbreaks, and an absence of block, invuln or evade... yeah it hits hard so it might se play as a dps in pve, but man am i gonna enjoy playin sic'em ranger day 1.
  5. As long as grenade satchel and deadeye exist, I'm super ok with spinal shivers...
  6. Ok nerf shroud... now necro can have invulns, blocks and evades. Every other class has more than one defensive skill in the form of on-command block, invuln or evade. Necro doesnt because it has shroud. I think almost everyone (including the guy who decided harbinger would lose health AND get no defense from shroud) forgets that design ideology. Core necro has non of the mentioned skills and harbinger has 1 evade (but its such a clunky skill it shouldn't even count).
  7. It doesn't have chill because people were clapping cheeks for 15k+ in WvW.
  8. In PvE sure. I'm fine with that. But I swear to god if I see that in WvW or PvP ima give someone a swirly...
  9. While I think its FINE now its probably still not a replacement for the loss. First and foremost we lost any cooldown reduction to wells and when they said they'd drop the CDs across the board they lied and reverted that change like 2 days later. Second while you do get barrier, well leeching was pretty useful and very strong in PvP and even in WvW (I ran well reaper until they removed the trait and was still the most fun necromancer build I've ever played). Lastly we also lost the biggest source of protection necro had. You get a little every time you cast a well. We lost build diversity for a trait that was dead on arrival and is still blah and is pretty bad in PvP/WvW.
  10. 1) While I like the direction you took with blight management, the removal of the passive healing and just making it a shroud bar with no overhealth like death/reaper shrouds is kinda bad. Necro still does not quite have the mobility or defensive skills to make up for that lost effective health AND blight stacks. (echo chamber intensifies i know, sorry). 2) I really like the new elixirs. They feel fun to use and can be used to clear or add blight. Thank you for listening ❤️ 3) traits seem a little bland across the board. Maybe drop the aura's for a skill morph (like scepter trait) or 2 in shroud to maybe define them better than a melee range aura that will rarely be useful outside of PvE? Overall a positive change from Beta 1, but still needs work in the trade off for defenses because losing an effective 12k-ish (about what shroud would give after cost ticks?) health before blight while having the same mediocre defensive skills doesn't really work out well.
  11. I run Cele weapons, Viper Armor, cele rings, cele back piece, 1 cele accessory and 1 viper acessory with viper amulet and runes of divinity. I'm rockin sword/torch and mace/shield and its really fun. It works well in PvE and small scale WvW.
  12. The most fun I have on warrior is playing berserker, but you only get to do damage comparable to other classes while you're in berserk mode. I will say that for WvW roaming it can be pretty spicy.
  13. The fact that everytime I load up my Ele only to find my cooldowns are longer, I just shelved it. I'm now refusing to declare what I play out of fear Anet lurks for comments saying something is fun...
  14. I think Anet design team needs to go back and learn about WHY each class and skills within each class work. Between This making certain skills basically not worth using (Severely limiting build options) because they need toolbelt to be good is no good. Its the same deal with the Harbinger Elixirs. Elixirs work on Engi because they have toolbelt skills. Why would I lower my health by 10% and dump a 30 second cooldown for 2 boons that'll just get corrupted outside of PvE. Elixirs are boring AF w/o tool belt toss for some level of engagement. At least the signets look cool...
  15. I want to know what kitten kitten kitten monkey at Anet thought making the pistol mastery trait ONLY give cdr to 2 skills and NO OTHER EFFECTS in PvP/WvW was a good idea. thanks now its a pretty god-awful trait. Why not say halve the amount converted or even say give it a fixed bonus and then extra for having a pistol equipped instead of a trait that is worse than ANY MINOR TRAIT.
  16. I would recommend mesmer or Ele. from the list you gave. My warning is that they are both fairly high skill floor/ceiling classes.
  17. Dang Daniel. Where are those in WvW, where DE was the strongest...
  18. The reason why they were nerfed is because DE would yeet an 18 wheeler at you every 0.5 seconds. and if by some miracle you survived their damage and can make it to them they stelf and run, OOC while the poor sap who isn't a thief gets his cheeks clapped because he didnt get to OOC...
  19. Hi Anet. This sounds like a Revenant post but its not. I'd like more weapons with skins that match the theme of Mistcleaver, Mistrender, Mistbreaker, Guerilla Arc and base dye Mistward Armor. Like just the weapons Revenant and it's elite specs would be fine, but if you did ALL of the weapons with this motif I (and likely many others) would be extatic.
  20. Honestly I think too many people don't understand things (thus they're in group 3). The number of people that walk up to a flamethrower scrapper 1v1 is too kitten high...
  21. Why are we all focused on nerfing everything? Why not BUFF the underperforming classes? When was the last time something was buffed in ANY meaningful way? If we keep nerfing everything, we might as well get a pool noodle costume brawl game mode where there's no damage, no CC and scrap PvP altogether...
  22. I see you too are a man of culture using blood magic.
  23. How? Please give specific examples. You aren't giving any relevant information to make a case. I'll be frank, I've had may more impact and, more importantly, FUN as a core guardian than I have as any Necromancer since the Mender's amulet removal...
  24. There isn't really any one build that is good in solo roaming and zerging. Your best bet might be some kimd of guardian. I have a build that works for both, but I'm shelving it for non zerging as there are better roaming builds (one I'm working on pulling together).
  25. Reaper generally runs power in every game mode. Weapons generally are staff/axe+focus in PvP/WvW, greatsword can also work, but generally it can be too slow if you don't have experience with it. In PvE I'd say drop staff for greatsword. Scourge in PvP tends to be a fat boon build by stealing opponents' boons. In WvW scourge runs a bower build focused around boon removal, and a ton of it. In PvE, scourge can do a lot more. Torment is actually good in PvE, so condi builds can be utilized. There is also a support/condi scourge build around that puts up so,e decent dps, healing and barrier/boons but it seems more focused on organized group PvE. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
