  1. This is literally all I want to. I also don't even give a kitten about rating when it doesnt even mean much anymore. I'm just tired of sleeping through one sided stomps.
  2. And yall wanted to nerf shocking aura. Shocking aura is the hero this game deserves but not the one it needs.

Not having top players have to wait in queue for ever is fine and all, but with how small the pvp population is this just doesn't work and creates a completely unhealthy matchmaking and ranked scene. The primary way these players climb is to duo queue cheese meta builds and then queue at off hours to farm silvers and gold players for extreme win rates. There's also so few of them in a clique that they rotate their rating farming times so they never queue on their mains at the same times. I see it almost every night if I am playing really late (3 am pst), naru is duo queueing at these times with a sweaty duo, and the rest of the players are just average gold players and it's a very boring 1 sided stomp, even if I'm on his team benefitting it's not fun. Top players should have to compete with each other for the top and not just collectively farm lower players for free spots at the top. Instead of match making trying to average rating and pairing top players against lower players constantly. Queueing needs to be capped within a division. Legend players only against legend players, plat again plat, gold again gold, etc. If there's not enough players in a division then that's another thing that should be fixed or adjusted for the population, because it's too difficult for people to hit legend at this point.
  4. Naru always duo queues off stream at like 3 am. I'm 100% sure they're all on a rotation where they aren't queueing at the same so they take turns farming mid gold players for points. I don't even understand how that's fun, its really pathetic.

  6. I am only at fractal lvl 20 and wanted to see how far I could get solo. Some of the puzzles are too frustrating to solo so I'm looking for someone who might be interested in the challenge of seeing how far we could climb as a duo.

  10. If shocking is that OP, why isn't everyone running the runes any class has access to for it then? There's not that many builds that have mandatory runes. IMO I don't think it matters if it was a Daze instead of a Stun, the immobilizing factor means nothing, just preventing further attacks is what lets it do its job defensively. I would say having it stun people out of vanilla dodging when a pulsing effect fires off is pretty unnecessary though. Dodges that also attack should be interrupted still though.
  11. Not sure what you mean exactly. In this case it just seems like it matches G + space instead of just GM, people could still put alt characters for the G as it is?

As much as I would love for every weapon to be designed to be viable in any game mode, that's not realistic, and I'm sure there would be no chance in hell of being able to just equip any weapon skill set on any weapon, or skin any weapon as any other weapon. But at the very least it would be nice if we could merge categories of weapons for wardrobe skinning purposes just for a little variety. I mainly stick to ele support in pvp for most of my time played but being stuck using daggers and having zero chance of being useful with staff means my cosmetic options are very limited, and it's disappointing not having as many cosmetic carrots to chase after compared to friends with swords, dual swords, greatsword, staves that are useful etc etc. Considering how significant cosmetics are as primary goals in the game (which I absolutely love and wish more games had), it's a huge bummer depending on the class and game mode you play. I basically have no legendaries worth working towards (in my opinion ofc) because of my class/gamemode. My dream scenario would to be able to just appear to use a staff, but have my dagger/X weapon set abilities, just choosing default attack/cast animations for skills based on the weapon appearance. Lumping these categories would be nice: - 1h Melee (Axe, Mace, Sword, Dagger) - 2h Melee (Greatsword, Hammer, Staff, Spear, Trident) - 1h ranged (Pistol, Sceptre, Axe) - 2h ranged (Bow, Shortbow, Rifle) However, this would make it probably way too confusing based on the class/attacks/animations and just being able to tell what another player is running. But I don't really have a better idea to allow more cosmetic variety. Maybe just stricter/thematic categories: - Greatsword, Hammer - Sword, Dagger - Axe, Mace - Bow, Shortbow - Staff, Trident, Spear It would at least be a small improvement.
  14. The heal share trait says 600 range but I've confirmed a while ago its only 240 in testing, made me super disappointed. However another fun alternative is lower virtue 3 on aegis pop, and Mystic Rebuke any of your aegis pops for aoe damage. Which counts for stacking another aegis on 5 hits. Super goofy fun, not really as supporty though.
  15. It is quite literally, objectively overloaded. We already have mist form and focus offhand for invulns. With how bursty the game is, invulns are way too high value, with teleports being second for damage mitigation. Compared to just any sort of other sustain or defensive. It's not surviving counter pressure, it's surviving potentially infinite amount of focus and cooldowns, combined with other sources of invuln it's kind of ridiculous how much uptime overall we have. You're better off just going glass cannon on any class and packing it with mobility/invulns/blocks to survive, just how the game is which is getting old imo. And it's not about dying to the autos, it's about still applying pressure with all of the above. And no there's nothing wrong with removing a band-aid and requesting a wound to be addressed.
  16. If they want to continue the trend of having no damage in some of the elements based on the weapon and bad autos it should be 5s or less baseline. You're still limited by the skills having cooldowns, and you don't have to keep swapping if someone new to it doesn't want to.

Last time I had success with condi D/D thief was like in beta/start of release :sadge Bleeds are just the worst dmg condition in the game because they're all tuned to only do dmg at large stacks you have to build AND super long durations so they're insanely weak to any amount of cleanse. You could literally spend 5-6 seconds building bleeds on someone not bothering to dodge only for it to be completely wiped away by a literal passive cleanse lol. Makes me sad because I miss my OG assassin build in GW1, where I would aura of w/e to teleport in, cc chain/burst/condition and teleport out and watch them die to bleed/poison. Very thematic :<
  18. If it makes you feel better, I got +8/9 for a few wins then literally -22/-22/-24 for the next 3 losses. 🙂 Also love how you lose the most when getting farmed by higher ranked peeps.
  19. Yes I literally only play support tempest in pvp, and I did last season when supp guard was "the good support". And the garbage parts of ele as a whole should be fixed instead of being carried by this overloaded utility I dont want to have to use.
  20. Let's just be real here, the boon/condition system in this game never really was designed with scale in mind. Number of players * the faster the combat gets from powercreep * boon/condition/strip/cleanse power creep and arms race * bad UI == the whole system kind of falls apart imo.
  21. Easy work around, copy conditions to 5 enemies, cleanse X conditions. The traits should be about specializing counter not trying to overload it. I think it's super interesting to have a clear specialization similar to Vindicator. I would totally play spb if it could legit cleanse and transfer and have a dangerous anti-condi build
  22. Yeah, so? I didn't propose changes to completely kill it. You can still keep the "can't contest a node" attribute on the ability too btw. No it's taken because of the high uptime on invuln/block/barrier for little time invested and for a low cooldown. Again, cata and tempest have plenty of magnetic access already. People using it to duel and still maintain pressure 1v1, if there's ever a reason to hold onto it for timing one of the abilities. And yeah that's the point, it's a utility meant to turtle, you should give up damage pressure for that. The overall defensive benefits should be less on the single use abilities and more on sitting in the shield longer. Otherwise you just get 90% of the defensive benefits spamming every skill and dumping it like a Firebrand tome, then doing it again in 20 seconds. Lame isn't a good argument. And yeah that's the point, conjures aren't meant to be firebrand tomes in the first place, where you just milk every cooldown out of it and throw it's husk in the garbage. You still have 10 seconds to do exactly what you're describing, this but just prevents you from cycling every cooldown including the invuln/block every 24s on average, that's extremely absurd. And yeah if you want to be able to double the shield completely you'll have to sit in it for 20s, you just won't be doing a ton of damage during that if you want to, good.
  23. You can't provide magnetic from finishers. Fire and Frost auras are cute, but they're not 100% dmg denial like Magnetic and Shocking can be. That's where the real support comes from.
