I have used 'Kiof' as character names (and for two starships) since creating it in the summer of 1982 as my first D&D character. I also keep a notepad of interesting potential names on my phone to act as seed ideas for future needs. Generally, before I create the character, I have an idea of the name I want to use, then I have to make it fit within the game, depending on if it is used. I've been surprisingly lucky over the years to have to make minimal changes to naming ideas.

How about a variant of the Colossus/Wolverine fast ball special?

I was fighting King Toad with a friend the other day. To prevent him from regenning to full health upon BOTH of our deaths, one of us would intentionally die if we were nearing zero hearts. As long as one person in the group is alive King Toad does not regen.

I am one of those people that bought a set of unbreakable tools for multiple characters (total of nine), across two accounts. I would not be opposed to having shared spaces just for the tools. I'm sure ANet could come up with some compensation for people who have bought multiple sets. Even if it isn't perceived as absolutely equal, I have gotten years of use from the sets. I only have one set of tools with the glyph of reaping on it and would really like to be able to move it around to different characters, relative to the situation. As it is, I leave the set with the reaping glyphs on the dedicated home instance farmer and use other sets on other characters.

I love the branded mount skins and have recently purchased some branded weapon skins. I did a search on the exchange and there does not appear to be any branded armor pieces. Any opinions on a complementary armor set that would go well with branded mounts and weapons?

I don't know specifically, as I don't have Prime, but the person who gives me their GW2 code gets an email when there are promos for his chosen games. Perhaps look for something like settings?

I've learned to manage expectations for this event, and many others. I enjoy the event, even if sometimes it gets a little long, as the festival progresses. But since it is a once a year event, I like it. I always participate in each of the events and do as well as I can on the character. It's a pleasant surprise when I occasionally manage to pull out a top contributor for a round. I have never once felt upset or jealous of someone else, or many someones, getting more done than I can. It moves the event along quicker.

In regards to lock boxes being a necessary monetization evil in the game currently... One of the things I dislike most is if I get an item that is not in the common table, but is not the item I really wanted, then there is disappointment on my part. Especially if it is an account bound item I will most likely never use. Example, I'm really wanting the staff or bow skin but end up with warhorn. 😕 In Star Trek Online, when you get a "choice of marks" reward, you have a five minute countdown to select the marks you want. If no choice is made, they are randomly chosen for you. Question: Would the BLTC chests be more palatable or at least less offensive, if you got to choose the item from the rarity tier you "won"?

What if they made this all in portal tome a special item that takes up two, or even three, inventory slots? I have pretty much all the tomes, but most languish in the bank as I only use three of my shared inventory slots for tomes.

I kind of understand the OP's point, but still glad the cape became available via other means after a time. If I have an "exclusive" item, I won't be too upset, if down the line others get a chance at it. That means that at some point I may get access to something I did not get earlier.. Star Trek Online when it first launched had a number of special promos with different retailers. Each retailer had its own exclusive item. Now the items have made their way into the game via other means and I was able to acquire things that I could not when I originally bought my copy at the retailer that had the exclusive I most wanted of the choices at the time.

Can you find an item that is not currently for sale on the main BLTC? That would be great.

I understand ANet's reasoning about not overloading the store. There would be just too much to go through. However, what about adding a search box? Keep the BLTC appearance, rotation and schedule as is, but allow a player to search for a particular item? That way there is no clutter in the store and someone can find and purchase a specific item at will.
