Larcenous Torment does not heal the Specter while in Shroud. It does, however, deal the Life Siphon Damage while in Shroud. Leeching Venoms also does not appear to heal while in Shroud.

It's like having rocks in a lawn and mowing around the rocks instead of removing them... It just makes things more difficult. Catalyst was already getting a notoriety streak of having too many auras. WiS without auras and stronger activation is the answer... How do they keep dodging the source of the issue. WiS in its current state is not a fun or interactive or clever trait. It's Elemental Epitome but for signets.

Idk how they managed to make the perfect bowl of nothing soup. A lot of skills are listed here with adjustments, how neat. Unfortunately they're all affecting the wrong things. WiS is definitely the issue here. It'd be like Signets giving Thief Stealth on activation. WiS losing auras and maybe having stronger activation skills would be the correct approach in this case.

Reading the fact Bolas were actually the counterplay to someone's playstyle has me rolling even after reading it yesterday. Absolutely CRACKED gameplay! Whoever this legendary Zerker is, I need to speak with them. Just want to learn how to become this overpowered unstoppable workhorse of a Gunflame hero.

Help! An entire team coordinated to land a burst skill while blowing all of their utilities! We had a Mesmer Mass Invis the whole team, 2 guardians use Empower to give 24 might, and a Thief to give Bassi Venom! The berserker hit me then, JUST ME, and that's overpowered! This. Needs. Nerfed. Now. 💀💀💀 If a teammate bothered to coordinate stealthing their BERSERKER to immediately get revealed just to hit POSSIBLY 2 people, I think they still deserve to be rewarded. Especially since the Berserker blew 3 cool downs just to land it. 💀

If people are eating Rifle skills... They kinda deserve it, especially since they somehow made Rifle 4 even MORE clunky. At least we get 4 dodges now.

I feel like hinging it on Phantasms/Shatters is an awesome idea. I just wish they'd make it so Condition Chronomancer could take better advantage of this. (Phantasmal Warlock only inflicting Vulnerability, but does summon 2 of them). Could consider changing this to inflict a damaging condition instead of just Vulnerability. I could see Inspiration/Illusions potentially be a nice choice if they'd consider making Phantasmal Force an AoE might generation trait. (For some reason it's had an Radius attached to it for years). Inspiration could be taken with this to use Illusionary Inspiration to AoE heal allies while granting Might/Alacrity (or Quickness). Slap some Regeneration onto the trait too for a couple seconds of healing to allies. I think the lack of inspiration in the trait choices comes from the fact our other traits lack proper imagination, which is ironic given the imagery used for Mesmer traitlines.

I'd hope the community eventually gets bored and just refuse to play Catalyst. I'd love to see what that looks like from their reporting end, overpowered elite specialization getting ~0% play after being buffed further. -
This reminds me. My favorite thing in the world is when two people who hate each other and have each other blocked just spam Ctrl+T on each other. Straight up making red waves on the minimap.

LOL! Idk, I wanted to add some pizzazz. And as the other person mentioned, it works great with that started build for perma prot. Mostly just PvP centric cuz I wanna get my rewards immediately and free! 😡

For Guardian I personally like the approach of going Firebrand with Sanctuary, Axe/Shield, and Staff. Take Glacial Heart and go heal mantra with Grenth Runes. Just be as annoying as possible. 😉

If you cast Kneel, cast Spotter's Shot, and cast Free Action, you do not gain Swiftness. Recreate: Kneel -> Spotter's Shot -> Free Action. Don't gain Swiftness. Kneel -> Three Round Burst -> Free Action. Gain Swiftness.

I will say that the overwhelming silence is putrid. It's a lil hurtful in a way. If you have a build that is heavily overperforming to the point there are video memes, people are agreeing with someone people typically DON'T agree with, and you have people who have never played Elementalist playing Elementalist and getting a strong W:L ratio, maaaaaybe there's something to look at. The biggest issue here is the lack of COMMUNICATION that there will be fixes, because currently damage to the community is being done and making people lose interest. If they'd at least communicate that they're looking into Catalyst, we'd at least be less up in arms about the situation. The fact the only way we can feel reassured is by being sarcastic and coping via making posts is heavily disappointing. That'll be my only rant about the whole Catalyst dealio. -

Woah there, easy tiger. Sounding like Virtuoso with all this blade talk... Also GS Sword. Smh my head. I'd add a conditional statement to the skill where if you land more than 4 hits on that skill, get 25 might and quickness to mow down the new person who totally ate it.

Nooooo. You guys got too serious! I was laughing until I saw the walls of text! 😭 Buff Catalyst, Tempest, and Weaver. Especially Catalyst! It practically has no boons and does zero damage... It's practically unfair when they have to press so many buttons. -

PvP in GW2 is mostly a memefest at this point as opposed to a truly competitive scene. The people who are ahead are gonna stay ahead. PvP is mostly what you make of it at this point, gather up some peeps and chill in Discord while having some laughs and doing ATs/Unranked with friends at this point. The stress of caring about whether or not RNG is in your favor shouldn't exist anymore. It just changes the color of the badge next to your name, which you can hide (or just not care). I'd love to see dueling arenas pick up again, the community around those were niche but genuine. You'd have the nostalgia of a troll popping in and causing trouble, they'd get chased down, etc. FFA doesn't allow for proper punishing compared to the wrath of dueling arenas. FFA is also pretty fun in its own right for havoc, going around abusing port bug with Thief Sword 2, Virtuoso Sword 3, Spectral Walk, and just being a nuisance is always on the table. There's also using your PvE powers and using turtle. 😂 -
traps should not be placable on capture points

If traps are the problem, why not going after traps? Not changing the entirety of mechanics of traps due to a niche scenario. If you're taking too much damage from traps with Protection, Rabid, Dolyak- aside from dodging or just avoiding the trap, why not reduce the damage? This is excluding the fact Trapper DH is entirely reliant on Trapper runes, traps being good, etc. Trapper DH continues to be a devastating force in PvP after all these years. The methodology here has me confused.
