Trust me there Is or was an invuln hack. About 2 years back there was this guy dressed as Spiderman on our home bl,he was a thief. Jumping around in our guild groups ( they werent fighting at that time ),they were smacking him while he was standing still,taking no damage just jumping up and down. Its the only time ive ever seen it happen,but atleast i know it exists though.

Do agree it's getting a bit stale. But it happend months ago,sustain groups are out of control,completely broken yet people rather complain about that solo thief on stealth. Roaming completely died out aswell. Everyone is just handholding or running in big groups,no one ever takes initiative to do anything without a tag anymore neither. It's about the worst state wvw has been in so far.

Comments that make sense are overlooked anyway,they focus on the " Yes i agree" posts.

You know...certain other Mmo's have a TEST SERVER. Might be something to look into Anet ! Queud up for Eb,sit in an queu for 30 minutes,it pops,and it asks me to requeu again ! Besides im Again placed on the wrong server.

Gunflame zerker is Extremely squishy though. I honestly have Less armor on it as my full zerk thief because of the -300 armor trait too. And they lack the healing capabilities aswell, Its burst or die.

I dont think theres any need to tell me what they can do if youve read my post above. But sure,keep on complaining.

I will hold on for now and see what happens after Alliance will go up again. @Kamikharzeeh, I know it happens alot,It used to happen every year once atleast where people started bandwagoning for w/e reason. But on FSP it's been going on for quite some months now,and it just keeps getting worse. Ive never switched server since the date I mentioned. But I do want to have fun and good fights when i log in which happen very rarely atm at the time I play and just not having much fun in general anymore ( I can name dozens of reasons but i dont wanna nag too much ). Roaming also kind of died out completely which is a shame.

The first mistake you make is calling it "brainless". It's funny because i see more bad De's as proper ones. A new or average De should be a free lootbag. I can counter and shut them down on a build where i dont even slot in a reveal/block or invuln,but by Knowing how they ( should) play and what they Will/Should be doing and how much they Can do it ( I count the stealth and their Dj's and i know how much shots it takes to fill up malice ) I know how they rotate and position themselves,because i actually know and play the spec myself,i know its limits,i know how to outplay it and counter them without even slotting a reveal. If i would go full counter vs them on my Warri, id grab shield ontop and slot a reveal and slot reflect on block and they would stand zero chance ( Not talking about the Very pro ones because they obv can kill me if played smart,im talking about the Average De). How do i know this ? Because of spending Hours and Hours and Days with my buddies dueling each other and not getting absolutely wrecked because they taught me step by step what they do and what i should do at that point,and after having learned that then the serious duels started happening where you need to put in what you learned and dying countless of times untill you finally get it,and showing each other how to counter this and that how to position,and Not always chasing the thief ( Because them needing to get closer to you in stealth requires use of init or a Very valuable shadow step,force them to use it early) and then perfecting it later on. Years and Years ago i had much issues myself aswell fighting thieves on my warri and got absolutely destroyed and frustrated about it thinking they were broken aswell because i had no clue what was going on most of the time and why they could spamm this and that so often. My guildie Morik was a good thief ( He doesnt play anymore 😞 ) and learned me how to counter them,we dueled for countless of hours untill i finally got it,he explained every skill and what to do against it. Later on i picked thief up myself and he taught me how to play it and how to counter others with it. From that perspective i could finally outplay thieves on my warri. There are counters,make use of them. Duel thieves,learn them,make one yourself,play it,learn how to play it. Find a good thief to duel against that explains things while dueling. Then you can realize all the potential you have on your main char vs them. If you want to be serious,learn how to counter,don't ask for nerfs. Even i think certain things are broke at times,but then i take some time back and learn how to counter it. I never asked for a nerf for anything ( well maybe about the reflect spamm ) eventhough i thought it was broke,learn and adapt because Most things,including stealth spamming thieves can be countered.

Stealth also has mutiple counters.

WVW would be fun without forever cleanse/heal/boonspamm/reflect spamm groups aswell ! are you honestly gonna pretend that Stealth is the issue in WvW ? Stop being a joke.

Because you are unable to time the reveal doesnt mean its broke,its on you really. Same for every counter vs every other class. And a "Million" evades,that just shows you dont know how De plays,they have 2 dodges,3 if they pop agi util for 50% energy gain on a 30 sec cd. Theres also more counters as reveal only. You should know that..if you know how to play.

Lets not make use of any of the many counters to it though ! Lets ask for nerfs instead !

Currenly on FSP since 2012,never switched servers. But im done with em now,it's been terrible for over a month now. They dont fight unless they outmann the otherside 3on1. They dont know what scouting is neither,and most of them usually insta die vs a proper comp,its getting tiresome now and when giving them advice you get some childish bs back. What's a good server to move too thats not completely overstacked but does know how to fight/scout/roam ?

If you suffer from crashes or weird artifacts after a while try this. Remove the Cache folder located in. C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\gw2cache-{1EF04074-8DCC-2788-7740-F01ECC8D8827}\user Remove Local.Dat located in. C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2 This will reset your sound and graphic settings ingame so make sure to check those after youve done it. Also if you own a Nvidia Gpu try deleting all cache files located in. C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\DXCache

Yeah headbutt is really kitten strong tbh. It enables several traits,stunbreak,enables rousing ( On its own if you use the stunbreak trait too), a Long cc aswell. Its a great util to land a burst or a hard to land or slow projectile skill like pindown and setup a proper burst with it. Adding wild blow is also good fun.

People somehow defend this but cry over a stealth thief. Hilarious.

Dmg aint everything. You can also apply more dmg on a triple burst with blood reckoning. No need for arms.

Yeah and its not amazing. I have a better condi build myself ive been playing for years,and thats with bow - sw/wh,but he would say "Its slow",i'd say he's slow,i can insta burst ppl down with it,instead of jumping puzzling around ( Pindown while having sig of might up ( Unblock ) + Headbutt in + Burst + Blood reckoning + Burst again + Enable Berserk stance for adren + Swap Weap + Burst again, not many specs can handle this if you do it fast, i like to start off with bow burst myself inside a pindown + cc from headbutt ) . He also keeps using Shattering blow,which is a crap util to use in any mode,it doesnt follow target and the bleed isnt worth the util waste of space neither. He also keeps using Mending when there is no reason to do so while Berserk builds are ALL about bursting you would want Blood reckoning for double bursting. Grab WH instead of torch and youre a cleanse bot too with shake it off + Wh 4 - 5 while making good use of kiting with sword leap,add Berserk stance against blind hate spamm too ( And using it for adren gain ) while trying to land Pindown or any Burst. Double bursting with either sword or bow burst in teamfights,hurts,add in sig of might aswell for unblocks.

Thats why i suggested DE. Its by far the safest thief spec to learn and play if you do it well,it has a good amount of boonrips and shares ( Add absorb sigil ), and the immob spamm can be incredibly helpfull aswell. Specter would be amazing yes,i loved the playstyle of it aswell and the support is insane.I even felt much tankier as my warri. Def gonna be my main on release.

You shouldnt look at support for being just a healing/condi cleanse playstyle. Like for e.g a DE spamming immob on a person safely from 1500 range away while your people are close on them is also a way of support since youre constantly locking people down for your fam to burst them down. Besides thief has a good amount of boon shares too. And like the person above me said,you named your issue is people getting away,thief is great in closing the gap and getting that enemy. But thief has a high skillfloor,and it might take a while to learn it properly. If you want to play full support then i guess scrapper/fb or smthing.

Nothing to do with being smart or dumb. This isnt about killing myself to reflect,i know how to play,i know how to stow,and i dont die to reflect. Ive already layed out the issues,and i dont feel like repeating myself.

I do pop in sig of might on warri at times,it's far from enough though.
