The expansion will breathe some new life into the game, as did Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire. Guild Wars 2 feels very much the original 2012 version in a lot of ways. However, it feels different in a lot of others, which is healthy. Overall, I am happy with where Guild Wars 2 is and I am excited for the future.

Word of advice: Join no mount Labyrinth runs. It is a lot better and feels much more like pre-PoF Labyrinth. Plenty of commanders run no mount squads, myself included, and will kick mount bombers :)

So, you do not use your glider often so the developers should use that to stop making skins. OK. Sure. No. Gliding is a key component of movement in today's game. Why would ArenaNet stop producing glider skins?!

There is nothing wrong with purchasing LWS content for real money. This franchise is based on buy-to-play. If players do not want to buy it, don't. It is up to them. ArenaNet are not going to give stuff out for free and people should stop expecting it. The fact you get an entire expansion free with PoF is more than generous.

Mounting in core Tyria has been discussed numerous times across numerous threads. Core Tyria was never designed with mounts in mind, meaning they can feel small when mounting. Furthermore, mounts are locked behind a pay wall for a reason. ArenaNet need revenue to continue supporting and developing their title. They are not going to give out one of their key selling points for free. You want to experience mounting in Guild Wars 2? Buy PoF. Otherwise, stop asking for it.

From memory, this issue been occurring on a variety of maps since the move to AWS. ArenaNet appear to be very mum about the whole thing and I cannot understand why. If I had the kind of latency issues in my place of work that ArenaNet does, the IT senior management would be screaming until it is fixed. It will have quite a severe impact on maintaining those new Steam players when they run through core Tyria, find they love it, purchase PoF + HoT (FoC), only to run into huge lag. But again, ArenaNet do not seem to want to communicate this to us. I do not often criticise the developers but this is something that baffles me completely.

If you want this convenience, put in the work and obtain a set of legendary trinkets. It is as simple as that. If you are not willing to put the work in, you have no argument.

I have been fervently against DPS meters and will continue to be so. They are a source of toxicity in this game and I cannot approve of such software being developed, both in-house or third party.

No, they should not receive the Raptor mount for free. Core Tyria's maps were designed without mounts in mind. Mounts in Core Tyria make the world feel small, which is why I avoid mounting when playing on alternative characters (I will mount on my main when running dailies etc.) Furthermore, access to any mount is rightfully locked behind a pay wall because this is one of the main consitituents of ArenaNet's buy-to-play business model. If any new players wishes to have a mount and are passionate enough about the game, they can pay for it.

I enjoy the way my Norn looks and sounds. I enjoy the story about the Norn in the game, including the recent LWS content. Leave the Norn alone and allow us to continue our hunt for eternal glory!
