Can we have our own icon highlighted in squad?

It's a bit painful to mouse over every same class playing player to figure out in what sub-group we are in.

Sub-Group information is useful to communicate between players and having it visually popping up (in both views) would be a nice touch.

Nope not going to happen. 

We had this discussion years ago in particular with the regards to the blue dot. The community said "hey this light blue dot is barely any difference from this other blue dot, we cant tell them apart, it should be another color" and Anets response (yes, actual dev response on the forum) can basicly be paraphrased as "but there IS a difference" and that was the end of that discussion.

A bit unrelated tip (maybe you already use it). If you are playing a support you might want to untick "view as grid" in your squad UI. You'll only see your party but you will see more info about the people you're supporting.
