I hate my class

Some dev can make the skills of the spirits passive and that they be instant activation to give alacrity it is very silly to wait for the animation to be able to give alacrity since there are bosses or certain situations in the instances where you transport or mount and they disappear causing I can't give an important boon and skills to your group or you need to save important skills for certain situations and I don't have them available because I need to activate the spirits to give alacrity. My class is pusher, alacrity,bk,hk, give might, root adds, kiter, greens and ham is only 2 buttons rlly if they want to balance the game they didn't make it -.-

Trapper's Expertise Entangle jacaranda and staff 4 for cc and for push long bow 4 and Glyph of the Tides for push adds

Now I might be wrong about this since I don’t play ranger much. But doesn’t the spirits stand still? So if you need to go to another place, don’t you have to summon them again anyways? They are not like pets or minions

Yes - so if you have Nature's Vengeance, when you use the spirit active then you give boons. The alacrity is pulsed by the druid, not the spirits. There's really no reason to save your spirits for anything, so just use them off cooldown even if you need to move for the boons (ofc when you're in range of people).

I can't think of any situation where you need to save Stone Spirit for the puny immobilise it gives - and even if you do, your spirits give 8s of alac each (with harrier gear) and with alacrity the cooldown is 16 seconds - you really could just save it for a few seconds.

ok dude I keep raiding on pugs with the kids comanders talking kitten because the alacrity that my class gives for doing several things is useless haha that deactivate 19 seconds is super instant

You are aware that you need to keep your spirits alive right? The 19 seconds happens when your spirits die. Your spirits should not be dying.

 

Cast your spirits right before a fight starts and use the active skill off cooldown. Most of the time you're not moving very much at all and they're going to get splash healed, if you are moving a lot... no, they're still going to end up getting splash healing when you cast them.

 

When you're joining as Druid you're expected to do 3 things:

1. heal 

2. give boons (you give permanent might, alacrity, fury, swiftness, regen... you get it)

3. do encounter specific mechanics (I'm mostly talking about raids here - seeker control on VG, push/kite on W5, using entangle for Gorse/Escort/Sama/Deimos, flak kite on Sabetha)

(4 things if you count CC, Druid can do SO much CC - but every role has to do this)

 

You should only be joining a group as druid that looks for a druid or a heal alac, and not one that specifies something like "ham" - the reason druid is weaker than ham (or why people don't want to run it) is that it doesn't provide aegis/stability/barrier, it does less DPS and it's worse for tanking on (i.e. you're not kiting the sniper on KO CM with it, and you couldn't give alacrity to the stack whilst doing it like a mechanist could).

 

If all the commanders you have are "talking kitten" to you, then it is probably that you are the problem and not the class that you're playing. Druid is perfectly fine in a lot of situations and honestly I still see it a lot, especially in certain raids.

You know what I think you must have like 3k LI and in fractals like 15k of UFE which has all legendary a boomer weeb who plays since 2012 when the game came out believing that everything he does and says revolves around him, his ego people like you do so I have already met several like this in this game. I say it from my point of view of being new and that he likes to play druid and his POF class cannot compete with the class that came out in the new expansion and if some people feel the same and share the idea go ahead and if they can't shut up This is addressed to a forum dev to analyze it and add improvements, not to you pro player.

Druid is a HoT spec tho....

Anyway, back in us 'legendary boomer weeb' days spirits used to be able to move when traited--that's something I'm sure a lot of us would like back.  

Mounting to despawn them is actually very useful in certain modes (i.e. WvW).  

But for now, just position them correctly so they aren't getting insta nuked and wait the 1/4 second to get your alac...

How is this productive?

You are new, and? Does that mean you should be immune to advice by more experienced players? You came with a problem, a more experienced players gave you some advice and this is the reaction you are giving? Yet other "elitists" are the problem...

Self reflect a little please.

Druid is probably the 2nd strongest alacrity heal spec after HAM in pve and it's gotten a lot easier to play with the recent changes.

If you hate your class, why don't you play something different?

I never understood this type of topic. It is a game, you are not forced to play a profession, specialisation, class, etc.... play what you like. If there is no such things you like, play a different game. 

After the spirits update, there are some changes druid will or won't do. like Sabetha kit is not for druid now, (or at least it is more complicated. But still doable)
Now, when i kite Dhuum, I don't bring spirits, but kill the spiders. 
Btw druid can't kite now if they want alacrity. If you are far from the group spirits and alacrity won't reach them. (boon pulse seems a bug for me)

If there is a Huge balance update, you need to forget your previous play style and reconstruct new ones. Some will similar, some will be a little different, some will be completely new. 
Your roles will change too. If after a huge patch there will be no changes, than what was the purpose of the patch?  

P.S.: I loved the walking forest / aqua show builds back in time. Swimming with 5 dolphin + a whale + a shark ❤️.
well, there was some issue  when moving after casting, because spirits liked interrupting themselves....

Unless anet changed something with the spirit actives, they took more than 1/4s to actually activate, the precast animation to punch the ground took over 1s….

I hate guildwars  one u don't live long and once u get a good build they nerd ur class ,I have arthritis in my hands soo I'm not the quick and ppl get  mad at me for two button skill thing, since gear doesn't help out not fair to me, and my friend does want play other game so I'm stuck playing this game which suck , cause I'm not good at builds!!!!!!!!  Plus this game sucks on money making other games give a lot money threw mobs drops , logs rewards boss of cool outfits ,buffs, mats ,money . Here ur  not soo lucky just get same stuff all the time, then wen they do up date ,u dcd all the time , they try say it ur computer even wen u bought a brand new computer, they need fix their game cause I don't have issue with playing other game !!!!!!! Just gws

1) If you hate it, don't play. Games supposed to be fun, if not play something else. 
2) low intensity builds works fine. maybe not good for some places like raids, but it is still good enough to play the game. You can also search the net for builds. you don't have to make builds yourself.
3) it is not the game who 'sucks on money making'. You can make money, the game give you a lot of options. The one that can't make money is you, not the game. Do events, meta chains, fractals, dungeon (I'm a PvE player, I can't say anything for WvW and sPvP money making). Again, if this system is not for you... play something else. 
4) Your friends don't play other games, make new friends in other games. You can still talk to your gw2 friends about any other thing. maybe in the future you'll find a game for all of you. I have similar friends. Not playing a game is fine, but playing it and trash talking it is not.
