Wing 3 escort (Siege of the Stronghold) is probably easiest as long as some of people know what they're doing and you have a mesmer. Once you have defeated one boss you unlock the raid mastery track and you level it up anywhere that counts for Heart of Thorns mastery. Edit: So the answer to your question is beat one of the Heart of Thorns raids bosses and then you're free to level up the mastery anywhere in Heart of Thorns. And I guess for some more context - your guilds, friends, discord servers for GW2. Reach out and see if you can find people. In terms of the Escort I mentioned up above - you basically escort an NPC so you need 1 experienced player to "call" the NPC to move it around, everyone else should avoid using that skill. Then 1 experienced Mesmer to run portals. And the rest just DPS. Don't get too far ahead of the NPC, make sure to CC/slow the giant wargs and kill them before they get to your NPC. Take the portals up to capture the tower tops raining AOE down on the road. So take the portal, wait for the capture bar to max and immediately take the portal back down and do not fight stuff on the tops of the towers. And then you'll eventually get to the boss and it's essentially DPS and make sure to DPS the same color icon above your head for that 1 phase. That's literally it. Super easy. Watch a guide for some context but it's really easy if you have an experienced mesmer and people keep the NPC in a safe spot (designate one person for this, have the NPC hang back on the stairs before the final boss fight). Go through the Icebrood Saga mastery points . You'll need 63 out of the 76 available points. The hardest to obtain will probably be those that involves active challenges during DRMs. The rest are fairly straight-forward, with some requiring doing the same events a few times to farm the achievements to get the masteries. None of the Mastery Insights requires completions of any events, so they are very easy to obtain. For those inside DRMs Instances: Quote Just enter the map on Private Instances. 3 of them: Field of Ruins, Lake Doric and Bloodtide Coast, all you need is to just use mounts to get to them once you enter. As for the rest, just wait 5 minutes for pre-events timer to count down and then run straight to the MP. I recently did the leftover IBS masteries to 455, those were my last ones. Honestly, they're just grindy AF, nothing to them except time. I got most on Drizzlewood coast map, north meta completion 10 times gets you one, glory to the legions (pledge to each legion once), Bjora has some braindead ones too, and if you're up for it, Dragonstorm and DRMs also have grindy ones. Like, beat Jormag idk how many times, beat Primordus the same amount of times, do DRMS 50 times or something... So you know... Play IBS, you'll get most eventually. Also, some weapon crafting ones have mastery points in the middle, like tier 2 or 3, so you can just craft a few, don't need the entire collection. I just put every ibs mastery on Watch mode, and just did them as I went along. Everything from Grothmar Valley, to Bjora Marches, and EotN. Kilked champions, Dragon Responses, Koda metas, etc etc. I still have a few left but no longer need them. But why do you ask? You can get most of them by just joining an IBS FAST 5 group under Strike Missions (LFG) in just an hour or so. The others you need to craft some weapons but only a few since the MP is all the way down on tier 4 I think, which is nowhere close to completing the whole collections.
