Even as a goth kid of the 80s I will have to go with turn that frown upside downside emo kid. Work in any development and its annoying when projects get put on hold and people are told to not talk about it. Yes they said it was a thing and then MGT shelved it. Doesn't mean others were happy with that. With team changes they came forward and said we said this and it was shelved but we are back on it. But anyone with a bit of experience in game development can see that there is a maximum of 2 people working on this project. Otherwise it wouldnt take so long, without any meaningfull progress. It shouldnt take this long, if it really were a priority and they really wanted to push it out fast, they could do it in less than a few months, regardless of spaghetticode. it simply isnt a priority for them at all, and it shows.
