Champion Jade Armor (Defeat the Jade Construct)

I'm not sure on the scaling, but it's been impossible every time a few of us have tried it. Between the adds and the ether towers there is a lot going on. I'm wondering if it needs a minimum number of players, like 10 or 15.

Yeah I'm actually not sure if it's the scaling or if it just has jacked up mechanics.

Either way, this thing is extremely difficult to deal with. It legitimately makes the titan meta look easy.

Seems like its easiest to deal with this thing the fewer numbers that are present or if you can get it solo.

Most Events, even some Meta Events are made for 5 player, so 5 Player is the base. Their is no Scale from 1- 5. Thats why some Guilds can go for low men Meta Boss kills like Drakkar for example. But because most people do not trust in their Skill, they need at least 50 Player to kill Drakkar, or ask me with 20 player in Squad if we can kill Jormag with only so few Player... Events scale up with Player numbers, best way to kill Bosses is leave the Area of the Event Circle before it appears just to move in right after it appears. Some Commanders doing it this way on hard to kill Champs. The Game needs few seconds to count all Player in that Circle. That and to show you were the next Event is going to happen a Event Circle appears on the mini Map. Every Player in it Count for it, every Player outside do not count.  Best example for this is the the last Pre Meta Event of Soo Won were you need to collect Magic to throw it up to a Catcher. The Event Circle appears, every one is moving in, but at the beginning of the Event you need to split in 5 other Events around. But just because everyone is standing in the middle of it all ready, the first of six Event Circles let Elite, Veteran and Trash spawn on that Point, that fight the five Catchers. If everybody is going to ignore the first Event Circle and go straight for 1/5 Events to collect the magic, only Trash maybe a Veteran will spawn, but not many harder to kill Elite the Catchers need to deal with. 

Because events Scale, some Commanders give the Order in hard Bossfights "dead Player use Waypoints". A Dead Player in the Event Circle is still a Player in the Event Circle!

Literally a copy paste fight from the past as we have had multiple Jade Armors over the years. Not a single new move-set or ability.

What this event is good at is shredding multiple players, meaning having many players scale up the event trying to overpower the Jade Armor will have the opposite effect. The event will scale up and all the unprepared players will get destroyed.

The fight can be soloed by any decent celestial open world build. Permanent self quickness and alacrity is a thing again thanks to Relic of Rivers for example.

The main reason to consider nerfing this fight is due to the fact it will become an abandoned event as less and less players need the achievements associated with it and don't feel the hassle is worth engaging this event (the rewards certainly aren't). So for the sake of not having to deal with dozens of "nerf this event" threads, just go ahead and nerf it now Anet so we can get spared these discussions.

You can  destroy the towers in like 4 hits, very flimsy. Or just avoid them, they dont move.

The Jade armour champ has 2 moves (ok 3 but 2 are just one move, 2 abilities that follow each other)  that you have to avoid because high dmg. Very much telegraphed.  You can avoid all the meaningful dmg. The pattern is the same all the time.

Its a hp sponge, the adds can be annoying and again hp sponges. But overall while annoyingly high hp nothing special. Solo should be np but never managed to do it all solo because other people came (and make it harder because of trying to ress them).

Did you miss the part where one of the telegraphs to a high-damage attack sometimes bugs out and is invisible?
