Why are warriors so much more important to Anet?

warriors had most of the weapons, its their default spec. Now all classes are adding weapons so this is no longer a bonus, they tried to even it out by the looks .however daggers are terrible, I think 'love' is a tad presumptuous

Cant tell if you are serious or not. Warriors been getting dicked since release. We had our golden moments but also the worst. For me the daggers are a joke. Other people might like them thats great. All the other classes got some dank mechanics and we got a f2 and a pull that isn't consistent. Pretty much a bland spec with not much to offer.

Bottom tier boon removal with a f2 with daggers that are less useful than core warrior weapons.

I wish daggers werent this stale, pull could be cast instead of relying on somone to voluntarily walk away from you, and boon removal synergy instead of heres your 7% more crit or 14% more crit for hitting a boonless target.

Negatives aside spellbreaker giving access to a dog leash, boon removal (even if its mediocre), and an alternative elite skill thats good.

Umm...Engi got hammer. If you're complaining about why we got 2 weapons, its because we also still have the least amount of skills even with the addition of 2 additional skills from our dagger offhand. Also because Anet said it just felt weird to give warrior access to main hand dagger without giving it offhand dagger when it can literally offhand any weapon it can use in it's main hand.

Dagger is kitten anyway - mainhand or offhand. Spellbreakers are gonna end up using more traditional Warrior weapons anyway.

Engi got Hammer last spec, Shield has always been baseline. Necro got greatsword. Guardian got longbow.

I'm sorry, but it seems pretty hypocritical you're complaining now, when for HoT the situation was inverted.

Not to mention that due to sand shroud, Necro actually got MORE new skills than Warrior EVEN with this xpac, as did pretty much every other class.

Also the Spellbreaker daggers do absolutely crap damage, and are unusable in any PvE instance aside from open world.

It would have been weird for warrior to get only a single hand dagger. Warrior is the only class that can use all of the weapons from its MH in its OH slot. Just having MH dagger would have been weird, and just having OH dagger would have been just like berserker (OH torch). It makes no sense not to continue this trend as one of the drivers for playing warrior is the "weapons master" spec. Having double daggers was appropriate.
