  1. I'm kinda looking forward to the hate I'm going to be getting for this, but as a fashionista I'm looking forward to this. I find it flattering when somebody wants to know what armors I have on, or what dyes/infusions I'm using. I'll spend weeks and months working on a look, your characters look is never truly done; so if someone borrows my look good for them. That means I did something other people like and that works for me.
  2. Thought you were going to say your 6 year old son could toss him too. 😂
  3. Open world mace would work fine, you'd have the extra block or a little extra flow. I've actually found running dagger/pistol to be fairly ok for that little bit of extra movement skill, procing brave stride to give myself a bit of stability.
  4. They'll buff it by giving it stability so you can't be stopped from your animation by CC.
  5. Gotta admit I'm reading most of this in the Captain's voice. 😂
  6. Comparing warrior playability with bagpipe playability, sometimes the truth just hurts.
  7. Obligatory can I have your stuff post.
  8. So, you going to post your own work on warrior or just something that a top 1% of players can do on a boss that isn't a power fight yet they're running power because they're killing it faster than it can get to mechanics that'll take it out of warriors range? Edit: You know they're fast when it's half as long as Mukluk's get to the point. https://youtu.be/zPfLE1wwWkw?si=B57V63DRBMuT8VTH
  9. Why wouldn't I want to pull extra agro? The more the merrier.
  10. Was told by a Guildie friend that this was going to be us warriors when we get staff.
  11. Of all of Anet's balance patches they've done this has been one of them.
  12. Just a thought I don't know why more people don't list this but the open world build for Bladesworn you can put a stacking sigil on another axe/pistol set and swap away once you get all your stacks.
  13. They're going to sell us an elite spec over multiple "expansions." This time we get a new weapon (but later), next one we'll get new utilities, then a new trait line with profession mechanic changes tied to it but we can't call it an elite spec.
  14. Skritt as a playable race confirmed (yes I know they don't exactly have a hive mind). 😂
  15. And honestly for open world content in a squad of 50 I'll quite often be the only warrior, sometimes there'll be another very rarely a 3rd. Granted these are my experiences. I've also been told for raids for condi I may want to look into something else that doesn't have so many weapon stows as part of the meta rotation.
  16. I'll agree, this "expansion" feels meh. I did enjoy the story (it felt short though) but they literally make armor skins left and right in the gem store. Making unique skins for each weight should be easy. Also as far as the price of the base "expansion" goes $24.99 while EoD is $29.99 which comes out to a little over 80% of the cost. If I'm paying 80% of the cost I expect an expansion that's 80% of the same size as it's predecessors. I'm not even sure we got 50% when you see them re-using skins across multiple weights, have half the maps, no elite specializations, took out many interesting rune choices (the 6th slot), gave us masteries that while they bring something new don't bring anything original you just expanded on masteries that were already there. When I play most games I typically figure about a $1 (which this game should have came out to at least 25 hours of main story) an hour of gameplay for the main story if I'm getting my moneys worth this didn't even come out to $0.50 an hour for the main story line.
  17. Yeah, the problem with the warrior elite spec weapons they aren't the most useful outside their elite spec. Then we have elite spec weapons like torch that condi warrior isn't very good outside berserker.
