Dark path buffed!

I think that's actually a nerf.As core is most likely played in wvw solo roaming for some tanky was.3bleeds do more burst dmg than two bleeds.

And 3 bleeds is still pretty low if you think about the cooldown the skill has and the condition behind it to hit the enemy: you need to hit him, but it's a slow projectile, that easily can be dodged,reflected or just run out of range

Its technical a buff, but the damage is not what makes this skill bad. Base Shroud is centered around staying at range - DS3 gets stronger if the enemie is close so you can create more room, DS 4 is used for kiting while they are close, DS5 is used to punish them if they stay close and to create another opportunity for getting space with the root. DS2 wants to bring you CLOSER to the enemy at all times. This does not only stand in harsh conflict with the rest of the design of DS - if you really want to make use of this skill to get close, to transission from ranged to meele the skill is way too unreliable. Ironicly this gets worse with how much your targget is away. If they would change this skill to be a ground target teleport and to cause torment (it makes sense for the kit) it would be a very solid skill.

The skill WAS a targetable teleport in beta, but because it 1v5ed some beta kuks without amulet in 1 testing weekend, anets balance policy has been necro = clunk and slow.

Its been like this for 6 years.Im happy with a speed up autoattack, and a doubled aoe dmg to follow power creep.3 years too late, but still a really nice patch.

Just fyi, it can't be reflected since Dark Path is unblockable.

A core Necro build is next on my list of things to do.

On the one hand, the bleed stacks were nerfed but, on the other, the 3 extra seconds may force an opponent to give up on trying to outlast the condi and use another clear (or for a trait to auto proc.) It may work more in favor of power builds than dps-condi.
