[Idea] WvW Caltrops Trap

A new Tricks and Traps item, Caltrops can be placed on the ground, just like a Supply Removal Trap or a Target Painter Trap, for 5 supply and when road over by a mounted enemy player they will become dismounted and trigger an area that continues to dismount enemy players riding over it for 10 seconds. Cannot be evaded.

Would it be in a line like the other traps, or in a circle the size of thief caltrops (not the dodge one)? And it should only affect mounts and not players because we know what would happen then hehe.

A line trap. Idk what you mean by the rest though, it's a dismount trap.

I think we shouldn't go with the idea of such traps/tricks, consider it like dealing with the previous perma stealth Deadeye, we went from traps to sentries and watchtowers etc, to end up and finally deciding it is time to nerf the DE stealth (don't eat me for this, just giving example)

so we would probably go through the same steps again if that's what they decide to add, it would start trap, then they will upgrade sentries to use rifles and that rifle attack dismount players and so on, then they will decide to nerf the mount itself.

Long process and nothing gets reverts.
