  1. not really. Dwarf heal&elite needs improvement, mallyx needs a rework, .... Maybe a little buff for dwarf heal and energy cost reduction for elite , as for kalla making the invocations invulnerable and maybe energy /upkeep reduction ( elite with an upkeep of -2 would be fine and the other skills between 15-25 energy cost maybe) but i still think legends are not as bad as weapons like sword ,hammer ,shield for example and a look at traits should be a must at this point

I think there are a couple things you are missing ,also i want to make clear that im mostly pve (raids,fractas and so) than pvp.In devastation we have ferocious strikes and vicious lacerations in the same column, i think they should change ferocious strikes or take it out for other trait because both are self dmg increase traits that ,if you compare, even in pvp i think VL is much better . So maybe increasing FS to 350 could be better. Also i think assasins presence should be changed to another legend , i understand Devastation is shiros trait line but if you look at it closely you can see all the other traits in it give personal buffs while AP is a group buff so putting it in invocation could be better and maybe changing it ,to put an example:Legendary presence : in accordance with the legend you are in this moment you give a buff to you group. Shiro being 150 feroc/power, jalis 150 though ,ventary 150healing power, mallynx 150 condidmg, glint 150concentration,kalla 150feroc/expertise.Also while agree that sword 4 would be good with a block i think you could make shield block better(letting you move for example) and make sword off be purely offensive with the risk of not being able to block .Pls make sword 3 animation a bit faster or smooth as i think that the "cast" or animation is too slow and seems akward (at least with my charr)I agree that needing to be under 10 energy to get that 25 extra is difficult in pvp if not impossible so i agree in that trait chaning and maybe getting a trait that increases our energy cap .Regarding true nature i think glints one is great while the other ones are mostly usseles , i mean theyre not bad but either other classes or ourself with other skills can make something similar or better so maybe it should be changed to get something more unique from other legends.Maybe shiro giving a bit more att speed ,jalis i dont know ,ventari cleansing condis ,and mallynx pulsing condis (triing not to get it broken) . But to tell the truth i think that core revenant f2 turning into facet of nature would be better , i mean a not upkeep skill that replenish 30 energy and gives a buff like the ones we already have for 10 seconds or so , it would make it a fresh air between all the glints upkeep ,maintain its use and also help revenants with energy sustain.In mallynx i would merge the heal and pain absortion because you usually have to use them together (as i have seen)And one last thing , i understand that revenants have 10 skills in stead of 5 but we have a lot of skills that are used only in certain circunstances and in others are useless so please make one skill more per legend or let us use racial skills .Im not sure if you agree with me or not but thats just my opinion if you have a different one just tell us what do you think and maybe between all of us we can make revenant a great class (more than it is mow without being broken)

And assasins presence is aferocity buff for your group and all the other traits in that spec are for yourself while invo has much more group based buffs so i think it would fit and anyway in devastation we already have very good traits while in invo the middle column (at least in raid) is not that usefull
  5. Am i the only one that thinks that assasins precence should be moved to invocation ?And i agree that the unblocable should be 2 seconds instead of 2 hits(or 1 is 2 secs is too much)

The reason almost everyone asks for gs or sual daggers for revenant is because we dont have a usefull power weapon while condi is fine and heal is fine too(talking about pve.Please if Anet or anyone is bored of this stuff you just need to change some traits or strengthen a bit sword sword skills it isnt even that dificult now that pve wvw and pvp are going to have separated changes(i mean you dont have to worry about breaking pvp herald now that you can only change the pve one)

Revenants have more habilities than the rest of the classes and still i have the feeling that i am using the same 2 utilities all the time (usually the upkeep skills as theyre the strongest with the lowest cost of energy)I would like to see some new skills that actually hit the enemy in shiro or maybe the gap closer that gives us unblokable and 20%dmg for 2 hits split in a gap closer that makes dmg and a skill that boots dmg and makes us unblocake for 2 secsIn jalis more skills that give retaliation (at least one because you only have the heal and in the jalis trait line (retribution) a lot of traits are about buff dmg when having retaliation or getting reta when rolling )Ventari maybe a buff skill?Glint i think is fine except for the ulty , the push with superspeed and dmg is fine but the upkeep giving only protection at a cost of -4 is too much in my opinion (at least make it give quicknes or stability)For kalla i think a new summon spirit could be fine if summons couldnt die so easily but maybe a skill that makes you do something yourself would be betterAnd please look at the trait lines as some need to change traits

I think Anet should stop touching herald in pvp y wvw and focus on its pve where it realy needs help.Im not against balance in pvp y wvw but they should balance clases/specs who need balance (and i think revenant is fine compared to thr other classes as it can hit hard and survive if you use your head)Other than changing traits position/numbers or adding a skill to every legend to give more customization i dont think revs need too much changes (maybe a trident threatment to one of the less used weapons ?)

It jas been there for some timeIts not a bad build because it gives boonduration or lifesteal for 10 people at the cost of a bit of personal dmgThe problem most groups will have is that youll have little dps compared to almost all power dps and probably they wont see the advantages of bd and lifestealIf you want to make more dmg you can take the third trait in line 3 of herald trait line(but your lifesteal and boonduration buffs will apply only to 5)

If youre interested in raid you should see the different benchmarks posted in youtube (either by snow crows or by other youtubers),and if youre interested in revenant but youre not sure about its power dps builds you can see Majestic Noodle as he has both a video with power herald and power renegade ,also he has videos of suport clases as firebrand and alacrigade.

I like the idea of an upkeep giving you either an aditional hit while active or maybe giving you more att.speed what i think they should do with rev is : Make 1 more utility skill for each legendI know ,i know we already have 10 utilities when others have just 5 . But the problem is that once we choose a legend were stuck with its default habilities ,for example take raids : a revenant with shiro will only use Impossible odds for dps ,and maybe the heal or the evade if theres a problem ,but you will only use one skill ,i know in pvp its different but thats what i mean each other class can take diferent skills in each game mode and make diferent buids but for us revs when we choose legends or even a build (power or condi ) we have to use certain skills and certain weapons because we cant choose otherwise, im fine with havin little options in weapons and legends but at least make 1 skill more for each legend so we can focus a bit more in our game mode.2.Please look at the energy cost of the skills i dont think a skill like phase traversal needs an energy cost of 35 in pve, yes it gives you more dmg ,unblocable and a gap closer with dmg but i think if you split the skill : one skill that is a gap closer with dmg for 20 energy and other skill that gives you 5%more dmg and unblocable for 5 sec for 25 energy and a cooldown . That would give the pvp other gap closer (even when revs dont realy need it as we already have 2 or 3) and we win a skill that gives dmg and unblockable this way in pvp you would have to choose and in raid for ex you can take more dmg but using a skill with energy cost so youll have to manage energy.3.look at trait lines revenant has a lot of awesome traitlines but the problem is that some traits (in my opinion)need to be moved or taken out for ex:In the devastation line you have in the first column vicious lacerations and ferocious strikes , both of them give dmg (the first a %dmg increase per stack ,(a stack that is too easy to get so maybe just make it stack with crit hits and make stacks increase to 4~5?, )an ferocious strikes gives 150 ferocity that is less dmg than a 9% dmg with all stacks so why not move ferocious strikes to invocation for exand change it for rapid flow for example?With this you make devastation have other survival choice and invo have other dmg option (or maybe rapid flow where now is feroc strikes ,feroc striker where now is assasin presence and assasin presence where now is rapid flow)And one last thing :Im talking about revenant but that doesn mean other classes are not in a similar place

I wont say anything about necro nor about anet way of doing "balance" .But you must understand that herald espec was not used in pve except for a few people because you had almost nothing to contribute to your team. Yes you had rene condy y sup y herald was good in pvp mvm but that doesnt mean we pve players dont deserve to have a power class so we asked for it.If you want a better necro then you can ask for it and maybe anet listens but in my opinion necro is not that bad (it needs some buffs to condi )I mean you have reaper for power and scourge for condi and heal/sup ,its not the top dps on power and has little dmg in condi but you have thing to use and that makes you usefull,for example shroud that makes you almost immortal and a simple rota with reaper, epidemic with the condi wich is incredibly usefull in a lot of bosses and with the healer build you can res almost a full party on your own.I wont say you necros and other classes dont need buffs or nerfs but you shouldnt say revenant didnt need a balance in herald because it was needed and it was well done for once .Oh and buffing the ele (who has one of the most difficult rotations in raid with the worst survival) is something i dont think is bad either

  16. If i were you i would wair for SC to update the build in their page(if you talk about raid/fract) and in pvp or mvm metabattle or something similar(if you cant wait you can also try things yourself )

I would like some medium range and fast att speed weapon for revenant.For example MH OH daggers or 2 focus , and while were at it they could make it power based weapons so you could weapon swap swords and daggers for example .(To make it clear a duelist espec with legends and traits acordingly made)
  18. Ok with celerity i meant quickness .and the burst of strengh could be buffed by a trait if you think 30%is low(so you would sacrifice a sup trait for a dpa trait and it would be more balanced than just buffing it)

I have a couple ideas for the revenant that might be fine:First why dont change some of the facets buffs (except the ult they are all common buffs so i would change some for example instead of regeneration the heal pulses retaliation or instead of swiftness you get celerity)Second why dont increase the sword 4 y 3 dmg by the double and make them make less dmg when you hit a target more than once (ex i use them in VG and the first strike is 4k while the rest is 2.5 or so)for pve at least.You could increase the dmg given by burst of strenght to 30% for the next 2 attacks instead of being by time and make it 20-25%in pvp(or diferent numbers if its too low or too strong)Increase a bit the live steal for shiros facet for allies or for yourself so its worth using it.I dont say they should do all of this or hiperbuff herald but they should makr it more specific if its a buff suport then give some rare buffs to make it unique if you want it to hit change things so he can sacrifice suport for dmg .In renegade the only thing i want them to change are kallas abilities ,they are wells that you can target and kill too easily ,they could be invulnerable for a while or you could make them follow you as if you were their comander (you are their com in a way) if anyone disagrees tell me whyand what would you prefer maybe your ideas are far better than mine (probably they are as im not a pro).Pd .Hope anet listen to us

I dont know...If they re talking without knowledge i think its good to tell them why theyre wrong and that way they get better as players .But on the other hand its true that a lot of posts about nerfs are annoying...its like a deadend i dont know how could it be solved.(But isnt it gteat to discuss things calmly and politely?)

  22. But that doesnt mean we should delete all the threads about nerfs .I have also seen people like that and sometimes the answers were not better .

As long as they explain why they think a nerf is needed and what they whould do im fine.What i cant stand is the posts like "nerf this because i dont like it and i am right whatever you think".And i think we all agree with those.In fact i think we should make more posts giving opinions (respectfully)and telling anet what we see they should change .And those pro players should give their opinion as they know better than most of us about their classes in their game modes

I think the problem is how te content is made and what content you choose.For example if you choose to make a video about a guide how would you do it?Most of the people just show the build and do the rota in the golem with music and they dont talk.If you want to catch attention you need to talk to entertain .Im not learning how a build works watching a sc video i have to read the rota and put the video in slow mode so if you explained the build , give tips and even make off meta build tries ,being friendly and honest,you would surely catch more attencion .For pve and wvw its the same .Dont rush to action take things calmly and show the content bit by bit ,yes you could do a video in 10 min but you can make it 20 min go slower and entertain more.Thats what you want entertain and show the gameSo to sum up go slower enjoy making the video and interact with your viewers.Good luck.
  25. I think the dh long bow 4 is worse.If im missing something there please tell me but an abilitie that aplies fire condi in a power build is kind of useless
