  1. Heaven's Palm - 550cc (you always take it) Signet Of Wrath - 300cc through immobilize (always have it or you can take Rolling Light) Rolling Light - 300cc (you can take it instead of Signet Of Wrath so either you will have 300cc) Greatsword 5 Pull - 150cc (Gs will be meta for condi builds after 23.08) Specter 3 - 250cc through immobilize
  2. I don't know where you get that from but this was not their stated goal for that update. This was - "We focused on improving the number of viable core weapon choices across many professions in PvE"
  3. I mean, sword, dancing dagger, headshot and backstab (assuming it won't affect malicious backstab) damage increases are clearly aimed just for sake of buffing core weapons/skills to ease leveling experience. I wouldn't look much more into it, the same happened for other classes with irrelevant core weapons/skills (even underwater ones).
  4. There won't be banner picking anymore. It's all written in their balance notes.
  5. Of course it will be worse than Firebrand. Anything can't compete currently with FB/HaM for meta spot. Why? Because their core design is just too bloated with useful stuff compared to others. It's a problem with them being too strong and not others being too weak. There is healDruid, healTempest, qScrapper, qHarb, healHerald, qHerald and all of these builds can't really keep up with FB/qFB/HaM even tho they still all are very good, viable builds which are still played in various places and will get job done. It all comes to giving warrior good and viable boon support/dps build and these changes on paper looks like they could allow it. It won't outclass the FB or qFB but certainly could place it as considerable option for those who feel like playing it. But still, I don't expect you to get it. Fact that experienced people from SC are able to notice the possibilities of these changes and some dummy from forums is just too fixated on his beliefs, truly says it all.
  6. I'm not really sure wheter you are just plain dumb or too stuborn to get it but it all comes down to numbers and we won't know them till tuesday so making bets now is kinda pointless, yup?
  7. It's based on preview we've gotten. But as I said in my earlier comment, numbers can be always tweaken neverthless the core design behind these changes is enough to make assumptions like those SC people had made.
  8. There you have some bullet points from SC people who actually have some knowledge and foundation to make an assumption on these changes instead of doomers circle jerk on this sub. + baseline banners utilities are quite solid now and are on par with modern utilities, so this is good for ALL warrior builds regardless of quickness. This is very good. + Heal Shout Quickness Warrior is possible with this change with high BD, and could be an alright alternative healer due to new access to Barriers, Aegis, Stab. + Power Quick War can take Tactics and Discipline and do ok damage, it requires a lot less boon duration than before so worth testing. + Core Quickness War could potentially be decent with enough copium. And small note from me in regards to wvw - aegis/stab/resolution/superspeed on-drop effects of banners could easily be used in WvW zerg/gvg scenarios for pushes/retreats.
  9. Of course you don't think it will change much. You are one of the top doomers on this sub. Most of snowcrow's warrior channel says these are good changes design wise so now it all comes to down to numbers and they can be easily tweaken.
  10. I get what you mean but I believe that's not pw2 issue but it's just current balancing. You don't need EoD specs to win a game. Willbender and harbinger being slighty better right now are only 2 of 8 specs that by your logic gives higher odds of winning but you can still easily play any other proffessions and do perfectly fine and win games. It just the matter of one balance patch and they can just fall off so again it's a balance issue. There are always gonna be meta picks that overperforms and it's kinda obvious that at new expac launch the meta will shift towards new specs and center around them for a bit. It happens in every game and every expansion that introduces new class/race/spec. It's not P2W.
  11. Okey so i really like WIllbender. I think it's greatly designed spec with cool fantasy around it. However there are two main issues for me that kind of need to be addressed. 1) Sword 3 really doesn't fit Willbender's play style in its current form. Please consider removing root from this skill only for Willbender. It's only skill in kit that just doesn't feel right to use and doesn't blend with rest of the abilities and mechanics. Virtuoso's sword 3 received similar treatment and so now it blends better with rest of the kit. 2) F1 still has that weird micro pause before it connects with target. I know its animations has already been smoothen compared to 1st beta but It still need to be addressed.
  12. Big true. People think that new specializations are created just for the fanbase of a particular class, and in fact Anet wants to reach out to other players with them, not necessarily of that particular class.
  13. Bladesworn is so monumentally bad that you guys literally cry a river on forums, meanwhile rest of community have a blast with it. Poor warrior mains, tough unbreakable fighters are oppressed by Anet 😞
  14. It's really not worth Anet's time and resources to put into it. Water combat is just a gimmick which shouldn't take priority to other more important things.
  15. It's not useless. It's great in Pve for good CC and in PvP for securing downed players and interrupting revivals.
  16. Just check Lord Hizen's bladesworn build. It's ridiculously strong solo build for open world with 3k tougness, amazing sustain, great damage and additionally provides some perma boons.
