As I said before i really enjoy to play on GH and SFR this week, full blobs everywhere at every hour of the day and night, great fights, a lot of toxic guilds btw we are a lot of people and (magic of ANet) no FULL servers :) o Joy I think There is no reason at the moment to increase time played on piken to increase the numbers of the so called "algorithm". But now I have a PROPOSAL, Why the majority of Piken WvW players do not do the same? You just need to create a FTP account, in WSr, SFR (if you wanna to fight KISS) or GH maybe (if You want to fight with them), You just need level 60 (31 for full account, cheaper than pay gems for server transfer) and then we all can play together in a Guild named [PGY] (Piken Gap Year) until Piken will be again High or very High due to massive inactivity, we can enjoy the game, filling other servers (ehy in any case they are not full right?) and happily come back to Piken when it will be freed from the slavery of a useless algorithm :D

Just to add REAL data to the discussion today i played 4 h in SFR against GH and WSR, they range from High to VeryHigh (ok GH was medium just before kiss diaspora) and we had FULL queue in every map, tons of FULL Zerg clashing together all the time, at 2:30 AM i gave up and there still were zerg around with just SOME maps with queues, (today the same) well ANET .. good job :D

The real problem here is that until they reveal this "secret magical, dangerous algorithm" all we (and YOU) say are just our Hypothesis so thank You for your contribution, could be an idea but it's just your Hypothesis things could be completely different.The real problem is that we on Piken now have to face things like no people playing,and our guild mates that would like to play WvW now are simply not playing at all in other dead servers , maybe the real algorithm it's "pay gems to go somewhere else or you can't play" but this is just my opinion like your.

  5. Exactly my opinion, ANEt should ask for help in this question, i'm sure here in the forum many people could help them to find a better and easier system to manage WvW population so let people enjoy the game

Well the ANET explanation isn't useful at all, they talk about an "algorithm" and "Thresholds" but noting specific (must be a really secret algorithm...), so since new kiss map rised 2 levels (from medium to very high) just after they went there I still find strange the original server, piken, still its' "Full" with so few people doing WvW actively it will be linked soon i think :) and it will be clear that the so called "algorithm" it's just a never resolved usual bugged stuff :) The “Full” threshold is slightly different than the other ones because it doesn’t have an upper limit. So some servers can be just slightly above the threshold and marked “Full”, and some other servers might be well over it, and also marked “Full”, even though their populations aren’t really balanced. The intent is that since you can’t join or transfer to a “Full” server, their populations are going to diminish over time, until eventually they reach “Very High” again. At this point, all “Full” servers are going to be balanced. This won’t be right away, though, since we’re not kicking anyone out of their servers.

I still think that ANet system it's bugged or not working at all, I went in WvW at every hour of the day/night (not 24h obviously) and compared to other servers "not full" PS have many, many people less, and yes, when kiss left all the guild left, my opinion is that the threshold used for the "Full" status it's not the same and every server have it's own value, btw this kind of system for servers it's a nonsense, let's hope one day they could stop to implement silly things and get back to the core system fixing all those bugs.

Instead of constantly nerf professions, having also different mechanic for the SAME skill in PVE, WvW, PvP etc why don't You give countermeasure to other professions so they will be "nerfed" by the players? and you do not have to change COSTANTLY everything,As a side note, thank for working on competitive game modes, btw try to do something about FULL status of the servers, they are not really full but people canìt join them, solve this or think about a new way to manage this, really, big issue, not nerfing scourge.

In the last few weeks almost 2 guilds left Piken, last one was The entire Kiss guild, and also many other players of other guilds, but the server still result as "Full", I do WvW every day and sincerely i don't see so may people playing, so I just wonder what could be this so called "algorithm" ANet use to set this "Full" status, anyone has information about it? I've read past ANet posts about it but no one really explain clearly the input variables and the logic.
  11. The same situation during this week, disconnected during fight in WvW, World Bosses, Meta Events etc.. hope they will fix soon, btw seems that implementing "new" useful feature like falling damage or slowing ress speed it's waaay more important :)

Well, you should also think about F2P players and old Full game owner That do not have access to Mounts and Gliders, You actually are relegating them to an area unmanageable from the point of view of the game, they can't simply play, so from F2P point of view they will not experience the game and suddenly will leave before starting to be involved in the game, the others will simply be upset (and quit maybe) just because they paid money (hundreds of them for the collector's edition for example) to have an unplayable game just because You don't pay attention to details.Giving them BASIC Glider or maybe a Warclaw mount (that anyway it's useless in PVE) since it is not related to HOT or PF in any way and useful (needed) only in WvW would be a great decision in my opinion, just to be able to survive all those changes in the game.So without falling damage reduction I can't imagine what they will do in WvW or PVE without glider and basic mount, good luck :)

The CT it's not really a great content, it's badly designed and they never fixed it in years, the wait timer it's a nonsense, there is no way to learn unless you want to stay hours on the same place waiting for another start, even the classic "jump on this pixel or you will fail" it's in. overall it's a content that most of the time people ignore during the festival, so i don't think they should give better rewards for it wasting time coding something for a dead content.

This is clearly a beta feature released too early, just to monetize, even if you buy tons of slot the "template" feature it's so badly implemented that seems quite useless, I had problems in Pvp, WvW and pve mainly switching game mode, but as in the past I think we must face the reality, this is what they gave us, and we have to live with it, we have to just find workarounds for these bugs at the moment

  17. Crafting Legys it's one of the thing i love to do in the game, but as implemented now the rune/sigil craft has no cost-benefit return, simply not worth the time and effort, sadly another lost opportunity to do a better content in the game.

It is clearly bad implemented, just annoying, yes the mechanic is simple but, like many other things ANet do, it's just a waste of time (it was also a waste of time and money implementing it like this, btw..) You could blame people that skip this PITA but i suggest to blame devs that implemented this nonsense, but rarely they realise this and fix the implementation, raising the reward do not help at all, in my opinion same thing apply for the clock tower jp, a great waste of time and money like it is implemented now, seems they like to have contents ignored by the players because of the outrageous design.
  19. Well. as expected after 15 days the "fix" didn't fixed anything and we are in the same situation, hope they will allow us to destroy these tools and have back our gems...

Well strictly speaking it's not "gambling" they are not even "random" all the BL stuff are pseudo-random in the best case, completely under the control of ANet in the worst case, Just watch some streamer opening 10000 chest and never (never) getting a single infusion, so the RNG distribution it's not even exponential.So talking about gambling seems really strange...

I Agree, I would like to have a refund, they can take back this crap and give me back 3000 gems. as expected the management of this issue was a complete mess, just a waste of time and money, hope they will face the truth and act as a responsible company, in the past when they removed pvp sigil features they correctly gave a refund.I will ask support to take back these items and give me back the gems.

From 5 to 17 of September to be precise... and anyway I really do not understand why I should be patient when they had for example to give compensation for minor stupid bugs like useless mystic forge events... in this case their failure involved a service paid with real money and they just ask for understanding It's at 9am PDT, so there's not much of that day to count. As for 'mystic forge events', compensation? Or just awarded the rewards...after a week had passed? (I'm really not sure what 'mystic forge event' to which you refer.)Well no, they sent a message stating that for a "bug problem" the event failed and people wasted materials donating in the forge and the real behaviour wasn't as expected, so they sent a "compenastion", the reward was a different thing
