I mean if Strikes or Raids had a gear grind like infusions then I think a lot more people would play them. I mean go for the full hog and provide a stat buffs only for Strikes and Raids like fractals does. Edit: Meh it was just a thought, I guess raids and strikes will go un-played until there is some tangible benefit to do them for the wider PvE like fractals.

Yeah I agree, my point was that Healers in this game are confusing for people. I mean I have seen some nice stuff like in Dragons End like organised groups trying to check is each subgroup has quickness and alacrity.

I think people are learning slowly, I mean the number of players I have spoken to still think their are healer and tank roles like in wow in end game content. Rather the end game meta revolves around dps, quickness and alacrity applications. HB is barely healer and the reason it has supremacy as a support is due to might, protection and quickness.

Illusion of life is an aoe resurrection what's not to like? I think people a reading the description literally, as far as I can tell it is a full rez since for some reason even after 15 second you don't die. Instead you go back down normally right on top of your zerg or party unless you have been down to many times.

I mostly use Untamed for small zergs or roaming since I have access to super speed. My play style for WvW is generally to blow all my cooldowns for a massive push into the enemy zerg, or counter there push by barraging my feet. For larger zergs druid is much better due to the access to root for separating members. The access to might also helps counter boon striping since it will take dilute the boon pool.

I mean one of the reasons engi is the least played class is because you cant show off your legendary weapons since you need to camp grenade/bomb kit. So a shape-shifting ranger would be played even less unless it had a cooldown or timer on the shapeshift.

Again is just Soulbeast but with no weapons, unless you animal form had a cooldown but then its not exactly petless.

Yeah I could but not everything comes off cooldown at the same time so I would have to delay either one. This is doubly true since I run improved alacrity trait. The other cool things is you can add to resolution and protection stacks which for fractals is amazing. I mean it's basicly just a non-heal "we heal as one" that is the way I treat it.

Yeah I changed my response to include the times have used to it solo. It's just when I don't have swiftness which is not often. I use the traited inspiration signet on alac Mirage and a quickness Chrono. Mostly in fractal and end-game metas events.

Yeah I agree, have the boon pulse at the start and heal at the end. I would be happy with that.

I use it all the time, especially on casual axe Mirage or Virtuoso builds. All of my support builds run it but the traited version.

Give us a filter with an advanced search like any other listing system

First removed the different tabs: 1. LFG lists all the available groups 2. The different tabs will now be Filters like HoT, PoF, LW1+, experienced, casual, training 3. That group will give details on the zone they are in and the large squad description. 4. The group will be labeled with whether the Zone is full and what guild is running the group 5. Let people search by name, by filter and or by whether a group is full or not 6. People can post their LFG with multiple filters.

Yes but I want to see all the LFGs at once. Maybe let another website access the LFG api like the trading post does. I hate having to go through each tab finding nothing to do. It just needs to be more comprehensive.

I think we should all agree here that more comprehensive LFG would be the best alternative. A proper search function with tags like all welcome or training runs would help new players alot more by having them search for content at their level rather than joining a random strike or raid group with acronyms like HB and Alac (I mean I know what they mean).

True but I mean it benefits power + condi builds with Vipers gear more.

There are lots of reasons I don't engage with some of the end game systems mostly due to time constraints. I mean I'm happy getting into the top 250 players in pvp due to a group finder making the games a quick 20 minutes but I don't have 1 hour for a raid. Strikes like I said I did play since they were very quick. I don't know the solution but a better LFG is a start.

Well to be fair condi builds benifit hugely from Might which is why stuff like condi staff Mirage is so strong. If might didn't benefit them so much I bet they would be pure supports and not a DPS spec.

I think literally everyone including myself can't be bothered. I'm happy experiencing the open world content and the meta events and calling it there. I even get flamed since I have called that end-game content since it is for me. Once upon I time I tried raids and hated it since it took way to much time to find a good pug group. Fractals are better and honestly that is the best candidate for a group finder. Arg like I said a better LFG would be much better, I want to see the raid or strike groups asking for more people without having to camp the menu.

I don't really know the solution to my problem, I just don't engage with the current system because it takes to long. I don't have the knowledge to start and run my own raid group, I don't mind joining a training run but I'm never actively looking for one or online when my guild does it. Meh this is a pointless topic since I want a group finder but I have no idea if it would fix my problem.

I agree but look on the bright side we might see a alacrity druid healer for fractals, strike and raids. It already was a good healer now we have another reason to take it.

Well the answer in or above gold 3 is to just change the sic em Soulbeast build. Essentially you have to make you own off-meta build. I use a mix of condi + CC and I do amazing since both wolf and lighting wyvern can chain stun. Some classes get absolutely destroyed with this combo especially Necro or Guardian (not willbender) who are more stationary. I can reach as high as plat 1 with it but I'm getting into the top 150 by then so I don't stay long.

I think you made my point for since Ranger is very strong in anything lower than gold 3. Right now gold 3 is roughly the top 1000 (if I'm generous) players since it includes part of the top 250. We shall wait and see since I'm sure they will buff or change Untamed. The stability thing is not a problem since you have a utility for Soulbeast and Untamed that can dump a few stacks on yourself.
