How can something that is literally strg+v be a reboot?

When balancing means condi holo 420apm and condi mech 69apm deal the same damage, you know you are in for a ride. I love the dev streams where they try to explain how they balance and what their goals are and the update doesnt reflect that at all. After 18months of balancing patches in the EOD era we are back to square 1.

So you want a dynamic system that evaluates your raid dps and just makes every fight the same length by adjusting the boss hp accordingly? -
What did Anet change and how is that better or more fun? Can you give me some examples, because you sound like you know a lot that I don't.

Still takes half an hour to find a hfb kite for ko cm 20kp+

Doesn't this backfire in terms of active players when previously you had those guys with 20 accounts for daily login and now you only have the main one showing up in statistics? It doesn't help that the new dailies are as dull as they could possibly be. I am honestly confused: you want player to engage in daily stuff in a way that makes no sense. You have great strikes, so why not make them a daily thing for people who love to play strikes? I am talking about EOD nm and cm. Like, the daily windows asks me how I want to play the game and my answer to that question is: I want to do lots of EOD strikes and raids, but that is as unrewarding as ever? Sorry, but can I get a single reason why this new system is more fun.

Yes Reaper is very viable as power and condi dps. However, by asking this it is already unlikely you play on a level where any of this matters. The current content can be cleared with any class and any spec. If you are talking about open world, Reaper was never bad there anyways.

They could just add a dps meter for individuals that only lets you see your own damage in raids/strikes/fractals. You say a dps meter introduces toxicity, but in reality failing a boss does and not knowing what the issue is. Its the same with boon uptime btw and just a lazy excuse from anet to not do anything at all. Just imagine the endgame without arc dps: you would need emphasise kp even more in order to make sure everyone knows what they are doing while right now you can give everyone a chance and evaluate a part of their performance via arc dps. Not having a dps meter because someone might get offened in a stupid game about their bad performance is just close minded and doesnt serve the community any purpose.

Wanted to nerf qDE even though single target dps was all that the spec had going for it and killed all DE variants in an instant. Absolutely amazing work, I guess there is a reason nobody plays thief and especially DE in PvE, because anet busy buffing Virtuoso, a spec so omnipresent in the current cm strikes that its far beyond the good old power Mechanist days.

Power Mech does no damage, it is super unfun after the rifle AA nerf: Now mine is better than grenade kit and to top this all the latest version of mechanical genius is the worst they couldve come up with. So much brainpower wasted for something so unfun. Beta already shows rifle being 100% useless outside of extra might on support but hammer is the dps option. -

Lack of endgame content, update

How is daily meta train, fractal and strike rewards any different from daily quests in other mmos? They are all braindead easy content and ppl are already doing them for years which is more autistic than anything that could be said about some 10min daily chores in an mmo like WoW/FF14 where you actually get new content in form of maps and raids. I am at a point where I don't expect any content because from what I have read the next strike is like half a year away so basically 1year schedule for any endgame content. Most of the patches revolve around shifting the meta in a game where theres no hardcore playerbase to begin with which makes no sense. Nice my Reaper now benches for 33k auto attacking that seems like a job well done, sadly the patch bugged other specs like any patch they release. -
Since the recent patch my Mech pet is unable to receive the correct duration of boons that are applied to myself (Engi). Not sure if every boon is affected but Alacrity is, which is why I noticed the bug in the first place (F1-F3 white numbers instead of green). I didn't change anything and I have shift signet equipped and not on cooldown. This bug appears to be somewhat rare and not everyone is affected. I can provide video evidence. Also: fix toolbelt skills bug for Mechanist.

Why do you keep ignoring the Mechanist bug where you keep your toolbelt skills when you only unlock the Mechanist elite spec? This is very similar to the elementalist bug, but much less gamebreaking. Still seeing buffs for condi Holo but no bug fixes or a new strike mission just feels underwhelming to say the least. You really need to step up your game.

Why don't you try to measure the damage output objectively by benching at the golem? I don't know how 8k crits means anything when you could be playing a condi build or dealing lots of smaller hits. Scrapper and Holosmith both bench for 38k+, which is slightly higher than any reaper build.

Literally all the gains (about 1.5k) are from fixing the bugged animation speed of the mech (trait 1). I would agrue the spec is in the same position as before in PvE, but now way easier to play because pistol AA is about the same dps as grenades, so you can camp pistol and after p2 you switch into bomb kit and then grenade kit and back to pistol. I wish they would fix the bugged AA from rifle though, but it appears they like what they did there which blows my mind. Edit: This was directed towards jade dynamo, as jdrive mace was essentially dead last patch with the exception of largos and SH.
