Mirage is a great dueling spec

My big hang up on the rifle is they don’t want to include dmg on it what so ever. So it’s used for only one build. Specter on the other hand can do both its support and use it for condi dmg, on scepter and well. Just seems like they don’t feel like doing the extra work imo.

And what exactly is the right way to play Mesmer? If I’m not a target audience my opinion is invalid? Seems like some double standards. You should work for anet.

Dueling doesn’t come from using a build. It’s more of a play style. You want to duel, you can do it on any build/class. Just duel more and now you’re a duelist. Sounds stupid but someone dueling in pvp knows their build well and knows how to manage outnumbered fights. That isn’t to say some do it better. Just play smarter and avoid dumb fights you know you won’t win or your team won’t win. Going down hurts your team more than you know. So if you’re out dueling a node and your team is failing miserably you’re going to have to help and peel key targets off the map like as soon as they leave spawn.

Assuming you’re also using a condi build? Dagger on mirage is very strong, I would test it out since you’re already using axe in both main hand, wouldn’t hurt and open up more flexibility as you will now have a range option.

Are you using the food that gives endurance regeneration, like 40%. It’s kinda the only food for poor mesmers and very good.

The whole kit was incredibly wonky and mostly ineffective in most situations. They have their work cut out for themselves.

They’re working with a bunch of the previous devs failed experiments from all the other expansions. It’s a small indi company give them a break.

I want more blast finishers. As well as more access to them on weapons. GS 3 would be a good example. Mesmer power burst really benefit from being next to the target. So when I go in to burst on my normal rotation there is a good chance there is also a field in place from someone else for me to access boons. This helps keep builds in check as it’s not always an option that you have access to.

You’re just not enjoying it or need way more practice to pull off Mesmer in a roaming scenario. Roaming requires way more knowledge than just what builds you’re running.

Pretty sure guard and ranger just use auto attack. So just click once and pewpew away ftw. If you can manage to click and dodge with no issue, rev is a good choice.

Honestly boon support chrono was abolished because it could carry any pug group because it was bad game design. Fast forward two expansions and let’s not kid ourselves this last one wasn’t even a complete expansion and we’re still waiting for it to be completed, fast forward two expansions with a dev high on copium and what do we get. It’s a thousand times worse and not only that extremely booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring. Thanks for nothing. No one that I know asked for this kitten. We all know who to thank.

Ye, this goes for any class. If you don’t think you can finish a down state. Try and ooc, move away and get a skill back up or a heal, give your self a second and come back in for the finish.

If it has dps application, I’d rather it not be focused on conditions only. And that probably won’t happen. It will be treated like specter scepter and be busted and or very bad not viable off and on.

No one seemed to care a year ago or more when boon rips were being nerfed from necro and Mesmer. Everyone was heralding in boon meta like it was a good thing. Having fun, yet?
