  1. No runes are the stats and relics are the effects on 6 piece rune sets, you will still want runes for the stats that they give and to that end legendary runes are still a decent qol.
  2. It sounded like 1 new item type that gives you the non stat 6 piece effect or runes, having 6 runes will still be necessary for the 6 piece stat boost.
  3. This is my opinion, but if a cdr trait is never picked then maybe we dont need the cdr of that trait baseline, some skills are already incredibly strong without that cdr into acount.
  4. Im cold on the arc divider change, i would go as far as to say its a bad change. The problem isnt the long channel and the triple hit but rather the long aftercast and your fix destroys the feel of the skill. Much like gs 4 and 5 on guardian all you would have to do for arc divider is simply cut down the aftercast. Revert these changes and simply attack the aftercasts pls.
  5. Possibly the most unhealthy build in pvp when it had all these things and 2 dodges. It wasnt healthy They dont want bunkers.
  6. Focus has been the best mesmer weapon since launch, its fine to nerf it.
  7. Being isntacast does help but its deff the weakest of the f skills.
  8. This seem lazy more than anything, whats the point of flanking? It would be more elegant if you just removed this interaction from the game. Giving baseline alacrity on chrono is a mistake, you can have it so picking a trait makes it possible to give alacrity or quickness but giving both isnt healthy. Also personally im not a fan of killing shield again as a weapon i think it was nice that boon chrono used its signature weapon but im in the minority on this one im assuming, still id like if quicknesss chrono relied on shield while alac chrono used well of actions (also putting alacrity on the final pulse is ?????? and rip superspeed)
  9. Its kinda weird what they hide and what they dont hide, also i think hiding fields should be an option for players. Outside of my subgroup, party or squad i really dont care what fields other players drop.
  10. Im not talking about hiding your own summons, im talking about other player's. Besides we have multiple options from hide none to hide all hide all should truly hide all.
  11. Yeah after playing with this abit i really wish it hid the fields of ppl outside of your parameters, its still a big source of clutter.
  12. They literally had one job with this armor skin, cmon anet the reason im farming it is for the colours to match.

Some bugs and or unintented interactions: It doesnt hide the guardian summoned weapons, it doesnt hide necro minions like flesh golems, it doesnt hide elementals, it doesnt hide phantasms like the ones from gs4 on mesmer. It does hide portals, it does hide the puke cone in fractals, it does hide any sort of green circle in instanced content. Needless to say it needs alot more work to be great.
  14. Generally i dont want to see any non boon or supportive effects from my allies because its visual clutter so hide all is great. That being said the game's boons and supportive effects are largely group based and in a squad it's subsquads (party based) due to the 5 man cap. Outside of these 5 ppl i dont care if the other sub or anyone else in my squad is dropping boons because im likely not gonna be able to benefit. It would do wonders for the clarity of the game if we had an option to hide boon and support aplication from ppl outside of our designated option (everyone, squad, party etc). Basically i want the same option drop down we have now but for field and boon aplication skills which are excluded currently from Hide allied visual effects options. In short one for offensive skills and one for boons and supportive skills, this would be the dream.
  15. The point is for my visual clarity of the game to not be impaired when light shows pass by me and in metas the go the screen go white. It hurts the visual appeal of the game and ruin the art style.
  16. These are 2 nitpicks of varying levels of annoyance that i have with this release. First i think that having the jp be visible takes away from the exploration aspect that jps are known for, the sense of discovery isnt there at all and that takes away from the experience. And second, the new armor set isnt a traditional armor set, its just one size shared across all three weights, this has been the case with some gemstore sets and individual pieces for a while now but i thought the standard when it came to armor is to have a diff visual based on weight. This feel like a low effort alternative and im curious if this is the norm we will see with annual expansions going forward.
  17. Genuinely its been a while now since we gotten the second part of gyala and im still flabbergasted that anet put out such an event after 3+ months. Its honestly shocking how lazy and copy pasted this event feels and its truly worse than what you find in the ow of other mmos. By comparison drms and dragonstorm are much more involved and high quality pieces of content and seemingly both happened while the team was working on the next expansion. This is such a weird state of things like im not even that mad at the quantity of the content but the quality is abysmal. Seriously whats going on here?

F2 doesnt have a hit at its end like f1 where it makes sense for it stop when it meets the target, its a defensive f skill meant to give you mobility and evade frames and leave behind you a damaging trail. Your problem gets solved fairly easily by just paying attention where you aim the f2, you can f2 in any direction being backwards, sideways infront of you and anything else in between, the arenas in w6 are large enough to where you arent out of options.
  19. Did they change that for the requiem armor? Asking because i did it recently and it was quite painless.
  20. I see absolutely no reason why you need the turtle to carry ley energy, to break the crystals for it? Yes, but to just carry it? Absolutely not, the extend of the need to use the turtle wasnt tastefull at all. Especially with how copy pasted is this event throughout the second half of the meta.
  21. Bounties could make for excellent content during the off meta hours for eod, they should deffinately consider bringing them back.
  22. Not necessarily as a replacement of metas like they seemingly were during pof but rather as alternative types of events when the metas arent going on. Theres alot of cool monster models in core, hot and eod that would work well with the modifers from bounties as events during meta downtime. For example hot could have wyverns, chalk and dinosaur bounties, core could have dragon minions and other faction bounties, eod could have aetherblades, jade brotherhood and or native enemy bounties. I could very much see this as bringing more reasons to run these maps more often and not only on clock for metas. Honestly they seem like a fairly simple content type with pof having made the groundwork so i think bringing them back should happen.
