    Well, to me, it is the same concept of the gem shop with artificial scarcity. I believe it is intended for people to purchase more keys to open more chests and get statuettes to have ready for when items cycle back.

    I think they cycle through the BL Statuette vendor. I bought two last month or so.

    @Asum.4960 I agree with you. My point was to argue that the popularity of HoT isn't only due to the challenge level of the maps. There are other factors which may account for it.

    I completed this prior to PoF, so these veteran giants weren't available. I don't think that they should count; makes this achievement too easy now.

    Personal story awards Central Tyria mastery experience, so it doesn't help with HoT masteries. If you mean the HoT story, then no, it doesn't award anywhere near enough. In fact, it seems deliberately designed that way.Sorry, I meant the personal story through HoT. Even if it doesn't grant enough, it is more than just events. /shrug

    There won't be any DX12 support in an expansion. That's more of an overhaul of the entire game's code.

    The players are not entitled to any compensation. There is no guarantee of 100% uptime in the License Agreement that everyone agrees to when they log in to the game.

    Player housing could possibly appeal to a small set of the player base, so it might not make sense for Anet to pour a lot of effort into it for so small return. I know that my small group of friends wouldn't care for it at all and world rather have playable content.

    I would imagine that their focus is on analyzing the problem and forming a resolution that won't break other things and that will prevent this from happening again.
