I don't like it : It's another ranged weapon when we already are at 3 melee and 4 ranged (no melee since HoT btw) It's hybrid which make it hard to balance in PVP (RIP Power Sc/D) The two new Dual Wield skills (#3) miss the original design of using the left hand weapon first and then the right hand (currently it's only right hand) On the bright side, Axe have his own gimmick which is cool (even if I'm not a big fan of it) and some people show it have a good dps in PVE -
How do yall feel about the Staff changes?

I really like the new Dust Strike and Helmet Breaker is a great addition for PVE (in PVP the whole int cost is just awful). What I don't like, it's the aftercast of Debilitating Arckilling killing the flow by chaining it with Helmet Breaker. -
I belive Daredevil with rifle and bound will have a huge spam stealth troll potential with the 4#

I belive Ranger LB is better than DE rifle in PVP for dps. Is Binding Shadow a big deal in PVP to the point you see DE with this skill in every match ? I mean yes the skill is overload when you read it but does it that much play in match ? I'm not sure. Btw I play DE in PVP and I dont recommand this skill for the majority of case because in solo Q it's better to take a bit more survability

it's easier to sell a mmo with pve that's a fact. There was a leaderboard but not a ladder I belive. But the leaderboard was bad, I remember be in top 5 just by doing like 10 match when it was of full people with 100+ match. I don't remember exactly when but the pvp start to be in ESL in early day of gw2. I don't belive a mmo focus on pve can be in ESL that easely but I can be wrong

The gameplay was really design around PVP. That's why endgame pve at launch was clunky until HoT when they start caring about PVE. I belive every prof balance update before HoT was about PvP (not 100% sure) and there was actualy a leaderboard (a Bad one)

So just nerf shadow consum rather than shroud ? They nerf health shroud mainly for pvp reason. -

It seems they can't split shroud health between game mode so give the damage reduction for pve but not for pvp -
You were already able to do that before and for less int.... Btw you should normaly never use non-kneel except 4# and 5# in PVE (in PVP it's the opposit 😅)

I feel now to be always on kneel and don't want to unkneel. At the end, imo kneel feel more like "I cripple myself to be able to do what other can normally do" rather than a game mechanic.

Malice was build up overtime on a timer (and faster if you attack someone) giving globale raw damage buff and boost DJ damage until the mark go off (fun fact, you get bonus damage even on non-marked target). It was gimmicky because you just mark someone and then afk stealth until malice is full charge to then burst. On rifle, kneel was a 2 ammo 10sec base cd (and it stealth), it was nearly unplayable in PVE and in PVP Daredevil D/P was farming it just by spamming headshot. -

PVP was designed for E-sport scene at his origin, not for average player (which is probably why it's failed)

I'm surprise how fast they fixe that and the bug allowing to dodge when imob with rifle -
In the past it was better to spam #3 (kneel and unkneel version) before they nerf int cost + damage

It work fine for me. You know that you need at least 5 malice to get the stealth ?

Yes that what I try to said (I rushed it a bit). You can too swap weapon during kneel with the buff and keep it, then when you go back to rifle (so non-kneel you) can directly use the flip without kneeling -

Ho ! it's exactly what i try to find. I will test it after + You can keep the infinite duration of the flip for one use even if you go out of kneel -

You can dodge when immob on rifle too even if you are unkneel 🤣 -
only on unmarked target The new #4 on kneel can be bug to have one free when on kneel without be on the smoke field
