  1. Yeah, good logic. Anyway, I was seriously expecting Mass Invis nerf and nothing else. They at least know what is wrong with Virtuoso even though the solution doesn't seem right. I'll take what I get.
  2. I thought they were challenging the enemy by saying this but after I've come to know that Bladesongs are literally the easiest abilities to dodge in the game, I've realized they are actually warning the enemy as a balance manaveur from Anet, ensuring Virtuosos are not terrorizing people with their massive Shatter bursts. Good move, Anet. Good move.
  3. All jokes aside this sounds the most likely "We've buffed Condi Virtuoso over the top and it's overperforming compared to Power builds at all game modes so we are nerfing it." and no other changes.
  4. They can be unblockable with Psychic Ripotse but entirely rellying on enemies to get that bonus is... not good. If no one attacks you or you die instantly, you will never make use of it (which bot are very likely in WvW)
  5. But... but... This is supposed to be a copium post. Not truthium 😞
  6. Twinblade Restoration rework COPIUM Bladesong projectile size/speed/cast time/target facing will be adressed COPIUM Thousand Cuts rework COPIUM Infinite Forge buff COPIUM Psionic skill buff COPIUM
  7. Okay, I don't do raids but does anyone really use Portal-Blink stuff? I've never seen skipping being used outside of Dungeons which is joke of content. Also, isn't Ventari Rev much much more effective for projectile blocking?
  8. If I wanted to put my brain away and push only 2 buttons, I would play Necromancer not Mesmer.
  9. This is a good insight to common low rank PvP player's mind. I hope one day people will understand the difference between strong and annoying.
  10. I blame Anet for making the game too easy and turning their players into 1 spaming bots. Mesmer is not OP, players are not used to use their brains. Same goes for Thief. Just look at all the drama around new meta event. They've finally decided increase the diffuculty of their content for once and everyone was like fish out of water.
  11. First time you said something that I agree with. Maybe I will see quaggans fly too.
  12. I am aware of that. But something they could do with Catalyst was basically Enhancement Shaman from WoW. I mean it's already halfway there. I can even say that that's what they were taking inspiration from but they messed it up while trying to make it original. Instead of having one Jade Sphere at a time, Catalyst could be able to place multiple fields like Shaman totems. And as a trade-off, placing a field would make you unable to switch attunements for a short duration. I don't know man they had 5 years and if I can come up with this in 10 mins, they could surely create a more well-defined spec.
  13. I know it doesn't live up to the theme but at least the idea is there. For Catalyst I can't even see the idea.
  14. Seriously I just don't understand the concept behind Catalyst. Virtuoso: A Mesmer who trades the deception of illusions for more direct damage. Harbinger: A Necromancer who uses life force for explosive skills rather than protection. Catalyst: An Elementalist... with 1 extra skill?
  15. No, absouletly not. I even regret buying the expansion since 4 out of 5 meta events fails anyway and I despise Virtuoso to my core. It doesn't repleace any of the builds Mesmer have in any game modes either. I would refund the expansion if I could, I hate it that much. I am completely fine with the idea of cloneless ranged Power DPS. Hecks, that's exactly what I was wishing for so I was extremely excited when it was announced. But the dissappointment I have after playing it for hours and hours is just immesurable. I won't explain every problem since it will take too long but to sum up it's so bad that you are nerfing yourself by playing it. For PvE, Power Chrono does some DMG while providing Quickness or Alacrity. For PvP, Core Shatter deals more damage and have better mobility around the map. For WvW you just kill yourself to projectile reflects. I think it's the most garbage elite spec they've ever made after the Catalyst.
  16. Any other condi class except burn ones has more condi application what are you talking about
  17. Noo, it's soooo good at killing open world mobs and the pretty animations 😭... I love Virtuoso 😍 (Any 'Mesmer' in Reddit)
  18. No, casual playerbase does which Anet listens to most.
  19. I mean, those questions have mostly obvious answers but I believe the foremost problem that needs to be addressed IMO is the placeholder traits/skills. Especially my main class, Mesmer suffers a lot from this problem. We have so many traits that are not good in any given situation. One of the main strenghts of GW2 was that you were able to adjust your build to the situation anytime you want. But over the years, with certain traits getting nerfed to the ground and completely forgetten about, build diversity has been reduced so much that this feature has no meaning anymore. You have only 1, at max 2 optimal builds for every game mode. I remember having a total of almost 100 lines notebook file for my build links for my all alts (build templates wasn't a thing back then). Now I have 6 template+6 build storage slot and I have spare slots.
  20. I agree with useless traits. Especially in Mesmer there are so many useless traits. Like not bad but completely useless that you will never pick in any game mode. Most of them are results of past nerfs and unfortunetly Anet is tend to nerf a thing and completely forget about it. It feels like we have been rotating between same 3 metas in every game mode for last couple of years. They really need to start doing buffs in addition to nerfs because nerfs just moves the next strongest build to the meta. With buffs to some forgotten traits we might actually start seing some fresh and new builds in meta.
