  1. The plated weapon chest either needs to have a mystic coin option or be replaced with the Pact Fleet Weapon Chest from the Return to Living World Season 2 achievement. Please Anet, that was such a great reward for everyone.
  2. Just a few thoughts regarding the story and map. First, Nyedra could have been just a little bigger. I know it's supposed to be in ruin and, judging by the theatre, a good chunk of it has been completely destroyed, but it doesn't quite feel like a town. Also the houses feel a bit small compared to the size of many of the Kryptis, which makes it seem like the buildings don't belong there. I do like the flesh like material used for many of the structures though, makes the buildings feel truely otherworldly. Second, the story in this update felt underwhelming. (Except for the last part, that was pretty good) The specific part that stood out to me was when we were going after Labris. Nephus says at the beginning of this part that Labris would be sending a large amount of Kryptis but there were only like 20 or so to defeat before getting to her. In cases like this I would rather have a lot of weaker Kryptis rather than a few stronger ones. Then there is the Labris fight. I hoped this would have been a full on boss fight that would be turned into a strike mission. Maybe something like the Cold War strike where she sends tons of enemies out along with the Queen's Circle as mini bosses before facing off against Labris herself. Would have definitely made her capture more impactful. I'm hoping that there are big plans for the next chapter! :)
  3. My guildmates and I were talking the other day about how great it would be to be able to use the Jade Bot as a camera for screenshots and as a video camera for fashion contests. The main thing that needs to be changed is simply allow first person view to be used when you fully zoom in. Another change that would make the Jade Bot better as a camera is the ability to use it any where, at a limited range of course. Maybe 1200-1600 range or so, that way you can easily take selfies and group photos. Hopefully we can see some changes like this in the future, as the Jade Bot is fun to use, it's just held back by its limited areas of use.
  4. I mean pretty much everyone chose scholar runes before, so at least with the relics there is just a little more choice. I'm sure Anet will tweak the current relics and make some more viable, as there are interesting concepts attached to them. The biggest issue to me is the fact so many of these are attached to elite skills. That needs to change.
  5. Honestly, I wonder if hairstyles are even profitable for Anet. They haven't released new hair styles (outside of expacs) or hair/eye colors since before PoF, if I remember correctly.
  6. Ley line gliding is literally required to do Xera. It wasn't gatekeeping, you won't even be able to touch the boss without ley line gliding.
  7. As many people have voiced already, it isn't that quickness is hard to apply now, it's that it's now clunky feeling and honestly don't fix the problem Anet set out to fix; freeing up utility skill and stopping the need to spam skills to upkeep quickness. With the recent changes you are now forced to use same the same set, just with blast gyro replaced with throw mine, and now you have to rely on rocket charge to generate a lot of quickness, which is impossible to do on a stationary group that is not on an enemy, as it launches yourself forward. I've seen some great concepts by people that integrate the gyros into the tool belt in a system that seems similar to revenant. Something like that is probably the only way Anet can free up utility skills for scrapper while making it more interesting and less spammy to play.
  8. If it means I don't have to use grenade kits on literally every dps build, then yes. For a class all about variety and building to fit the encounter, Engineer is forced to use the same skills for every build too often.
  9. I don't understand why Anet isn't do them either. Great filler content for between festivals and expacs.
  10. If this is the close to the rotation you need to keep 100% quickness up, then the change from Gyros providing quick to leap and blast finishers providing quick was redundant since that change was supposed to free up Scrapper's skills.
  11. Unless the changes to Kinetic Accelerators gives crazy high amounts of quickness, I see this as worse than having to use 3 Gyros to keep quickness up. Rocket Charge is very dangerous to use in PvE as if it locks onto the wrong target that will probably kill you or mess up your squad's run. Sure, you changed the Function Gyro to make a blast finisher, but that takes away from the utility of saving downed allies. In the current builds for quickness Scrapper you can hang onto the Function Gyro for when you need it. So in the end I think it would be better to leave Scrapper unchanged until a real rework can be done. Speaking of which, here is my suggestion, as an Engineer main, for a Scrapper rework. Gyros are removed from all skills and the tool belt is replaced with a system similar to Revenant's Stances. You are given the choice of 2 Gyros "Channels" to swap between in combat. Each Gyro has unique skills you gain access to while actively in their respective "Stance". Then it would be a matter of making one or more those skills or traits apply quickness. This would free Engineer's skills so you can customize them to fit what the encounter currently needs; in true "jack-of-all trades" fashion. It also feels thematically fitting for scrapper to mirror Revenant, as Engineer's other elite specializations tend to be a mechanized version of another class; Holosmith to Necromancer, Mechanist to Ranger.
  12. Hair Style Rework Idea We rarely get new hair styles and I believe the reason for that is they are not that profitable to make for Anet. So instead of using the Hair Style Kit to access exclusive styles, have the hair styles available to purchase individually or as sets. Similar to other cosmetics, the purchased style will be stored in the wardrobe system. You can the visit a barber npc, located in major cities, to apply any of your unlocked hair styles for a small fee or transmutation charge. I believe this change would benefit both players and Anet; giving players more freedom to change up their hair whenever they please and Anet more sales.
  13. I too would like to see skins for kits. I would actually like to see it for all classes, for things like summoned weapons and such. Of course this would have to be a PvE thing cause it would probably be too confusing in PvP, but I could be wrong.
  14. So my question is why you (Anet) can't sell these skin individually like all the gliders and outfits in the Gemstore. I can see no other motivator than money, so I would like to know the logic behind this choice. The whales would still have bought all the skins because they are collectors, but you loose a lot of dolphins with this RNG system. Not to mention you are jumping on the loot box bandwagon. If you had sold them individually I would have bought like 3 or 4 for sure, but because they are locked behind RNG loot boxes, I won't be buying a single one. On another note this goes for the BLTC chests too. Ever since that change where the uncommon rewards were exclusive, account bound items, I should have guess more loot boxes would be on there way. Please consider this change and use it to your advantage. Get rid of loot boxes and use that as an advertisement point. With so many online games abusing loot boxes, it would be nice to see an MMO that didn't do use people's gambling addictions to grab some extra cash.
