  1. I would assume the main point of buying bl keys is to get those lion statues. Would be nice to see them in the vault but I very much doubt Anet agrees
  2. One way to do it is to make the item for free from the quest giver. I'm not paying 100gold to skip the bug. I have the mount tho. Had some free time I thought I could use to get the mount skin
  3. Costs money and they now have to recycle since EoD. PoF was the last time they made new animations and models
  4. Get 7800x3d for best performance in CPU heavy titles or 14th gen 14600k,14700k. I can "almost" run at max WvW without issues, around 60fps with 13600k
  5. Not everything needs to be ranged always, keep it strictly melee like it is now (auto attack). Gunsaber was already ruined due to ranged complaints. Not this one too.
  6. Unimpressed. Another ranged set to the pile. Lacking in animations. Looks like most of the work went to the revenant sword
  7. Good since the necro "swords" were a massive letdown
  8. Its cheaper to build a decent computer for GW2 than buying a current gen console. Stop being fooled by Sony/MS marketing and stop being wilfully ignorant. This is a general statement, not just for the OP.
  9. Try to change the route your connection takes to the servers? Could be some issues in between the servers and you
  10. ESO turned out great performance wise. It's impressive to see it use all your system resources unlike GW2. It used to be just as bad how GW2 was/is
  11. Instant gratification results in instant boredom unless you release content in quick success. Lets see their plan with the zoomer gen.
  12. They sadly did not follow up with the original design and made them cartoony to appeal WoW audience who likes Orcs. They share similar body time. Unlike in GW1 where they were tall as heck and body wasn't so uncanny
  13. Tyria could be the name. Guild Wars 2 says nothing and even the 1st game most people thought it was because of guild vs guild pvp mode and not some minor background lore.
  14. Pretty weak show tbf. Cheaper to focus on weekly skins with that performance. Shame really since the game is a hidden gem apart from the weak instanced content which has been ruined with boon powercreep
  15. FFXIV made a great QoL choice dots (conditions) are not preventing you from mounting up and locking you in combat. GW2 feels so backwards in that regard, welcome early to 2000. WvW can have different rules, no reason in the open world to lock you in slow mode with those conditions which can last up to few dozen seconds. GW2 brings Bethesda games to my mind where enemy gets bugged and has forever aggro on you so you never can fast travel, even if the bugged enemy is in other side of the country. Thank god PC has console commands to fix those
  16. Someone "tipping their toes to fractals" doesn't mean its the main game mode for them. If it was as popular as you make it seem then it would be wise for A-net to capitalize on that. But they won't put much focus on it.
  17. No it's nice. Could be even harder. Not everything has to be easy always. Spend some time learning and overcome the obstacles
  18. Lets be real here. Most of the community here do not care about raids, strikes or fractals so the focus on this is low. The open world is the endgame for most of us. That's the endgame people from generic MMORPGs look for since they know nothing else. GW2 is a lot more varied in that regard, you have a lot different type of endgames. What I would suggest for the OP to do is continue the story, it will reveal new maps pretty quick moving forward and those maps contain the big part of the endgame. Another suggestion is to open the achievement tab and choose some goal there to pursue (GW2's quest system) The game is very casual friendly, but it doesn't expect you to be "stupid" FFXIV does which is very handholdy and WoW is even more confusing (story progress) apart from the LFG system
  19. I do agree that there is a lot of trolls and bad faith posters, but you are essentially asking for something a kin to reddit/discord where only one opinion is correct and everything else is wrong and muted. Why do you think Reddit communities are called hivemind? Well that's the reason, you are either with them or against them and muted. Steam forum might be a cesspool but its there and everyone has the voice there, not just the fans and the bootlickers This is a more political note what I'm making now. Everyone in The West complains about how Eastern Countries handle the "freedom of speech". Well Reddit and similar places are essentially the same. Anything is muted, ignored or banned if it goes against the hivemind Complain here or in Reddit that you dislike the men getting maid dress and you will 100% be given a warning if not a ban. Do the same on the Steam forums and most likely nothing will happen to you. Which place is the bad one again? (Incoming butthurts with the confused face)
