  1. Last time I WP in WvW, it didn’t repair armor, that was a day ago. Please cite your source for this info. The Outnumbered buff means armor won’t get damage, are you confusing this with your un-cited info? OP, you’ll see a shield at the bottom right of the Health globe if your armor needs any repair. It’ll transition from yellow, and broken red to determine amount of damages. All repairs are free. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/World_versus_World Read under "Permanent Waypoints". Thought it was common knowledge by now, my mistake. I guess I may have to keep an eye on that because it’s not been working for me, I’ll probs bug report it in due course. Let’s remember that the Wiki is player made too. Perhaps (and, nope, I didn't test this, it is just a hypothesis), it only repairs damage within WvW. So if you enter with damaged armor, it stays damagedIt was during a 3 hour play session in WvW, but thank you for your feedback.

  3. Well you skipped levelling, so jumping ahead to do one story mission, that is repeatable at a more relative time, shouldn’t be a big deal, no?

  5. Winners of competitions don’t need to be announced if they don’t want. They are entitled to anonymity, and Anet has to legally respect that. If they wanted to be known, you’d have seen a post from the winners.
  6. If you don’t like doing PvE enough to even get the first couple of mounts in PoF which will get you through the story, you’ll really hate farming Jahai Bluffs for the requiem armor. Just an observation.
  7. Going for Vipers stats won’t make your Mesmer less squishy. Vipers is the DoT equivalent for Berserkers.
  8. No. Every time you “change stats” of an item in the Mystic Forge, you’re actually destroying the item to gain a new one with the desired stats. You can swap your now Berserker stat Staff to Viper, but it will destroy it in the process, like it did with the Leftpaw Settler Staff the first time. You’ll have to obtain a new Ascended Staff, via drop or crafted, to try Ascended Vipers stats without using your Ascended Berserker Staff.
  9. Does the search function not work on this forum atm?
  10. Are you using the same character that started the Skyscale quest line?
  11. Contact support and explain, politely and in full what happened. They’re usually really good with these sorts of things. They will tell you when to delete the items, and they’ll send the gold back to you once that’s done.
  12. It was never 24 hours, it was "next daily reset". Yea and if one happen to finsh it at reset how many hours would it be for next step? But saying the time gate was 24hrs is incorrect.Saying "if one happen to finish it at reset how many hours would it be for next step" is exactly like saying a broken clock is right twice a day. Doesn't mean it works.

  14. So, nobody else got the Spongebob theme in their head, induced by the title? Was that just me?
  15. Not only do you need all episodes of LWS4, to access the maps, you need to completed (at least) two specific chapters of Living World Season 4:Legacy (the third chapter of the third episode A Star to Guide Us - you need this to unlock access to Sun's Refuge, as this is where Gorrik and the skyscale will be during the collection process).Descent (the last chapter of the last episode, War Eternal - this unlocks the first quest “Newborn Skyscales”)
  16. I feel like the collections themselves were ok, on par with the Griffon. But the the first couple of collections were tedious and could have been better if overlapped rather than sequential (You currently Go round the map once, then again, then again for other things, then one last time for good measure).
  17. Well, it was when the beetle was released, but I guarantee the logic from Anet will still apply. No, Anet won’t retroactively add beetle or Skyscale skins to the existing mount bundles, nor will they offer any of the theme mounts individually. They never mention not using the same theme for new skins though. http://dulfy.net/2018/07/02/gw2-long-live-lich-developer-ama-summary/
  18. I didn’t realise players had to only play and spend money one game.
  19. I’ve not done my dailies in months and I’m not particularly bored with the game.
  20. Based on the OP saying "Thank you" back to me for the reminder of this mechanic, it doesn't matter if the question didn't mention the shadows, it was the most obvious over-sight people miss on this story step.
  21. It's a weekly merchant. It'll allow 1 purchase of each x50 bundle currency per week.
  22. No. Feeding is only 4x per day. This takes 3 days to complete. Used to be 3x per day. Each stage of the Skyscale achievements may be started 2 hours after completing previous tier or after daily reset. Feeding only completes once you’ve fed it 12 times. Thanks, that's what I said -- I meant a total of 4 per day even though there are more than four sets of two hours in a day :) I appreciate the confirmation though and apologize for my confusing phrasing.Still missing the point. No it’s not what you said.Feeding is 4 per Real Life Day, not in-game day. It takes a minimum of 3x24hr periods to finish Raising Skyscales.Once you finish each meta achievement (Saving Skyscales, Raising Skyscales, Troublesome Skyscales, Riding Skyscales.) you then have 2 hrs wait to start the next meta achievement. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Skyscale#Unlock_achievements

  24. This thread is about the Meta-Achievement reward, Commander's Victorious Holographic Wings. Not about the Weapon/Jorbreaker box reward for the 5x Daily Achievement. I don’t see much of a problem with the reward tbh, it unlocked the skin for me, which served it’s purpose. Some players have a use for an exotic back item with commander stats.
