  1. This is also a nice option. We can make 3lvl customaization , where : 1st lvl , is the wow version 2nd lvl , is the current version 3rd lvl , is creating a hook-mini submarine like, where you guide it throught an imaginary sunked ship (as you look the normal landscape of the sea , a Silent Hill Ui/hud minimap , with locked door and empty rooms will come up and you as red dot in the center) , where you need gadgets or items to aquire from other rooms to open the next doors and find the treasure , or a rare npc that will spawn on land with your name next to World bosses Edit: Or create a card game , like we see on steam (Darkest Dungeon) , where are essentially is card=various actions that you get each turn . The 2nd rod guy can snatch a card from the bosses backpocket that is moving , without being noticed and replace it on your own , if you agree . The 1st rod guy snatch from the boss a random one and the system ask you to change it (those item can be a crusial to progress to the next room , rather than wasting time to find it , or can be items that might not effect the boss (bleed vs undead) , or he can create mini events like dropping the caddle on the room , littng up the boss and his adds. This minigame is vieable like a bluescreen to whomever is sitting on the boat (blank background viewing , with rooms , and siluates that moves) so all can see it , but the 3rd guy can move it )
  2. Lovely idea . Or there could be a gear that starts as Exotic level 1 and can be lvlup-ed to 80 by playing multiple dungeons and then reset to lvl 1 as Ascended and so forth. One specific piece of armor have a chance to drop from one specific dungeon , or you can get it after the 20th kill. Afterwards it might becomes a "combat armor" that offer your "weapon switch"ability , a random chance to change "stances" like Rev that either you mount up and you get a new sets of abilities , or "univeral 3-4 new specs" , or as long as you dont use abilities , you get a random one after 2 sec in combat for the 0.9 coefficient spells and your UI icon that is looking like a roullete , change from Necro to Necro/Warrior for example . You can narrow it down to 3 classes and you can sucrifice the Elite that has no cd and an utility that will not fully activate because of the elite and with reduced cd , to dircard one spec as fast as posible and get a random second one . And it wouldnt hurt if you could see the other people that are in the same "rarity" as you , just like Fractal tiers . Or copy you "fractal stats- most played Tier" rather thn lamp people in the same pot
  3. There could be event system , where the system choose occasonally 2 WvW servers (offence-defence) and 3 targets to be captured the next 30 min (as far as posible from each other) . The offence server should haste and either capture the highest value target / or split and backdoor the lessers ones , or progress (% damage or doors ,or escord the old Orb of Power from the open fields ) . After 2 hours the defenders switch place and if they do a better time , they get higher MMR . The third fanction is our wildcard , because nothing is fair in war If people attack under the map, there could be an extra layer under the surface , that blocks any projectile and temponary bans people' attacks it absorves . Or each character can have a "feet"protection , that is disabled near some edges-keeps that have an invisible necro's coruption dispell effect . In order to avoid teleportation capping we can put an invisible barrier 2.000 yards away from objectives that when passed , they offer a protection buff for 5 min preventing you from beeing 1-shot by any guard-npc . If hackers travel undeground , they will not get the buff and get oblitarated when they go in If people use teleportation hack on the open , then we assign in each player a ghost that offers you a personal buff every 3sec . The ghost copies your teleportation skills but its midair so it wont get stuck on terain (or have 3 ghost in differen dimentions , and if 2 is nearby you , you get the buff) . But if you use hack the ghost cannot be near you , thus no buffs and you get flaged after the 6th time . As far as afk goes , there could be 3 ghosts . Where the 1st one move fast and when attacks you , increases the speed of the 2nd one (stacks) and in return the 3rd ones that when hit by it 3 times , you are deemed afk

For solo play i wish there be could a minigame like the old planes games or this , where as you go to the next objectives , skirts attack you and and flee backwards (or teleport/burrow to auto correct their position) you colect random crazy powerups . Theres are also skirt-battship of the air that rain aoes on the ground and the "Tab" button allows you to shoot straight or up. The combat can be done on the mount too , but the rewards are a little better on foot When you get hit you loose "prestige" (fake hp) , but if you are willing acivate 'rush mode" to "hit your normal hp" , you get extra rewards When you are attacked by another player the minigame is removed (skirts flee) . The goalis to make solo romaing more "fun" till you find an enemy or go to an objective

  7. I have been reading this reddit thread , and a particular post got my attention (Raiseborn) . Could there be a system that remembers the people that you have completed events together and the system recommends friends to party with in various modes ? Let's say on OW player will see the listing in the dungeon's lfg only of others OW players or the system offer to invite them , or start a group . The system expands to other players that you met less after 15min , in the Training /Experienced /Fractal /Dungeon Tab For experienced players , it can check if other people are running Arcdps and match it with you (copy nearby names // check if the objecive is completed together //checks for Arcdps // if specific high lvl achiv is unlocked // beware of 1-80 smurfing without noob-achiv unlocked)
  8. What if we could create the same system as the old Warcraft looking for group ,where you essentially choose from drop-down menu . We could modify it a bit , by allowing the players to either choose some parts . But whover choose the fill the non mandatory buttons he is not eligible to get 100% "special reward". Essentially he sacrifice the rewards for "stability" And filter the lfg by Layers . Layer1 (random-mandatory choice only) - Layer2 (not mandatory - Role) - Later 3 (Achiv + Comment section) a) Dungeon (mandatory *): 1) Random (the system create a teleport to dungeon Button ) 2) Ascalon etc b )(not mandatory) Role : 1) Random 2) Qdps etc. c) (not mandatory) Achievement needed to join the group : d) (not mandatory) Put a comment : Edit: As far as afk checks , there could be 2 Rabits that attack you and stop moving for 10 sec . One create a dark hue on the ground when he attacks you and next time you are standing on and re-attack you (or 3-4 times) you are demmeed as semi afk . One that attack you and place you a debuff that is not dispelled if you dont use 2-10 utility spells

High end players tend to propose decisions that favor their guilds - teams , in order to have edge over the competition and get well known to the community . Youtubers in other hand , they are already loved by the community and as as side project they are competitive by nature . I believe , that we just need the "right" people that they will aim for the survival of the game, rather that help their friends get an edge over the competition and the fame that follows .
  10. As the title say, what if this happened and was consisted of trustworthy people , from different expertise like Nike for his WvW-boonfest-viewpoint ? The requirements to join are simple , where you choose from 2 options : a) will you do your best to help your "friends" , before loosing them to other games (most likely will come back after 6 months --2 years) ? b) will you prevent a "Wildstar" scenario ( before you loose both friends and game) ?   11. Well some people intentionally are not, create some toxicity . For example , people have asked for a confirmations button in Portals Mesmers (optional extra button ) and some lads answers were : "This has been brought up numerous times on here but they won't do anything to do something. I also don't want a new button to interact as this causes more burden to find a new hotkey" ( got 4 upvotes)
  12. I seldomly see threads to pop up and are used as indicator if living stories are good investment or not .But there are some some inconsistencies , about that. For example , based on the site , if you search for "Fractal Rush Participant" (old community event , for doing fractals) , it has 76 participant that have done the achievement ,out of the 440.000 accounts listed there , but in the meanwhile if we check the wiki , we can see it reached the "maxed Tier" of participation . Maybe who ever is manually listed there , their interest doesn't align with the interest of the rest ? What are your thoughts ?
  13. => Wizards could master the Dimensional travels and pull us in a short-dimension story where all our friends our dead and we decent into madness . When the story complete we unlock the the "slowly-demon form", that by playing normally a new character from the core game (or even better wake up in EoD) and occasioally get some "disturbing cutscenes-mini events-flashbangs after the normal living eps . Allowing us to get the horns>darker skin>tattos +new spell class (not existing in cores) + forget old spells + screen becomes more gray with occiasional hostile enemies shows up (old npcs getting killed in your Fov by invisible lightinging 2000 yards away , if not tagged by others and replaced by new knighmere creatures) slowly . edit: Or more Druid (shapesfifter)-Tarzan like features , from drinking the forbidden pool of knowledge . Or a sidequest detective work that an option of dialogue leads to investigate further and leads to evil Mesmer , that will kill/comatose/curse your main character (unavialable for 2 days) and force you to start a new and automatically at the start of EoD and seek revenge , with your new spell/class
  14. This is a nice idea and could prevent any future trolling of legendary proportions . It's up the company to choose if the default way is our current form or a confirmation box . And the appropriate button for the menu to activate/deactivate the mechanic . Or standing ontop and using auto attack is the "confirmation button" (the portal could be surrounded by invisible bunnies , that trigger this mechanic when hit by a specuial condition done by the auto-attack (vomiting effect)) Edit: Or a menu item to de-capple the Interact/Portal , by offering special F1-5 keys
  15. How about every guild , within its guild halls can access a portal that can join join a "shared (among other guilds) weekly hardcore map" ? Also a portal in normal overworld that leads players into the hardmode area for few mins (1-2 )and get rewards regardless of win/loss , in order to slightly test the waters / aid the hardmode population to chunk 15-20% of the boss health as a huge zerg rush from the mist , if they have WvW under population debuff Edit: or a buff like Fractal revival that you must pick up and pull you into these modes , at boss fights like the henchmen from the game . Edit2: and i wouldn't say not to pvp in those areas , like Darksouls

Sets , that when used in Core specs changes the core weapon spells (like the new bladesworn's ranged auto-attack) , but when used in Elite specs offer less stats , but make boons have more radius + 30% passive consecration (less investment) , especially good for "ranged pattern" bosses ,or "stance dancers bosses"?
  17. Could you imagine if they offered Core-only-relics that altered/buffed core spells to become more "competitive" in any mode ? 5-signet-warrior / Hammer - Gun scenario intensifies !
  18. A melee character doesn't have ranged options , by sacrificing a bit of damage ? And we could use a change of pace , lets say for example the 2x strikes could become melee oriented and the one fractal to deviate from that . We had that in the past , where bosses had huge toughens and needed condition specs for faster clears . About boon coverage it's a different beast . While some "traditional op classes" rather than getting nerfed all the time (Mesmer) , will be forced to invest concentration and new "off-the-meta" to become more attractive , by investing none. This is another way to change the meta , rather than the traditional nerfing of top-dogs-spell functionality

Any chance for some "colored gems"(no stats) that you can mix and match (blue +yellow= green gem) that offer temporary augmentations to your character (use Jackal in combat once per 3 min to escape , chance to find a "combat-WvW-warrior-greatsword as Thief" every 2 min, turtle can use "dig" and you gain a combined shorter effects if you mix two kinds ) . Or the darker the color , the more damage each aug does. They only last for one day (then they get grayed out) and some content have more chance to drop specific gems (Hot-Octovine at 14:00>green gem) , but if you collect all (even grayed out) and combine to the legendary "black gem" you have a chance for a Void Weapon from the next Fractal's chest . Essentially aim to do various content per day
  20. Turtle => The driver uses "headbutt" in combat and the mount leaps 600 yards backwards . The driver is dismounted and he can throw a hook to the position of the delayed following Bot Terminal location (hopefully near the boss) . The mount exist without a driver (npc mount) and is headed towards the boss to the 'final sacrificial headbutt" to deal 1 damage, and nearby people can hop to use the ranged weapon for some extra shots . Or the driver can guide the Bot to a location and the Turtle is bound to come forth in that location (to collect an cc-breaker-item , so the driver can throw it on the boss , before even the cc bar comes up ...prestack item that increases the chance for loot )

I wish there was 2 kind of boosters to choose from : a) Normal one 80lvl >> get teleported in EoD for the quality story + hearts that allows you to learn basic mechanics , escaping the snoozefest of Core . For none EoD owners , you have 30 day free time and then you can rezz/teleported only 500times in those waypoint , then you cannot see them/interact (something like permadeath) , or get rezzed in Core . b) Gain 1 lvl up every 35 min, so you can play the Core , without feeling like you grind and run past the Stories into whatever expansion you have bought (rewards : 100 gold ...noobtrap)
  22. Wouldn't be neat , if we could offer OW Strikes a 100% chance to get the rewards , and after a month we incorporate a version of them into the Fractal as 5-man , with slightly chance for the rewards ? I wouldn't say No , to a party merger (10 man) mechanic if people opt to in the UI .

Could there be three new mechanics for Fractals ? : a) When five people are ready to hop in their next Strike , they get teleported randomly into another groups instance , for some 10-man action b) Future Fractal bosses scale with 8-10 people c) If three out of five people , choose the "No option" in the Fractal Lobby or when they push the "Teleport in Fractal" button, then this mechanic is deactivated Edit: I wouldn't have a problem , if also the T2 tier is deactivated , because the population is too spread . And replace with a new mechanic : a) the instance is scaled with the person with the least Agony Resistance , or give it a randomvalue to avoid exploits (like not inviting high AR people) b) Increasing their personal Agony Resistance , offer more chances for random Gemstore item (once per 3 months) c) Hitting 100+ or max AR , 100% guarantees the loot at the next Boss Fractal Rush Event , after 15-30 tries (based on AR) Based on your AR you can see the different /B , /italic , /underline that represent each Tier LFG listings below you (but cannot see you) . And in those types , some annoying advertisements are not allowed (like Gold selling....)
  24. It will be better if Arenanet came forth and openly admit that because their focus was on the next expansion , the 2nd part wasn't "on par" with the usual Living quality . And from now on , they will be aware to spare more resources at the end of the expansion cycles for the OW events This is to gain people's trust and ensure that there won't be any misconception that might later arise , such as : "focusing only one aspect of the game , created a backlash for 2 whole expansions (like IBS), thus lead to low sales for the 4th expansion" In the other hand , the concurrent Redditors increased by 200-250 , which is some cases is good
