  1. It's nice that they don't have to pluck nostalgia strings for it. I mean every raid up until now has been gw1 related. They should really cut the umbilical cord and make them purely gw2 related.
  2. Ironically that would work out just fine since Kamas and Sickles exists. I’m sure they can be handled with a reverse grip. There's a Luxon dagger skins that uses reverse grip, Dragon Kama Skin.So we have scythe staffs, scythe daggers. I think we could do with scythe greatswords.
  3. noty. I would want shroud cd reduction available to core. my top 3 are:revert plaguebuff dagger auto dmgoverhaul core shroud SoS never really had an effect on core in the same way it did reaper.
  4. Don't revert speed of shadows. Just add the shroud reduction to Shroud Knight (reaper 1st minor trait - that also has the degen increase). Degen would be fine if the above idea was implemented. Only focus 4 needs changing. 5 is perfect as it is. Either make the missile homing and speed up the velocity. Or revamp as with guardian focus 4.
  5. I like that necromancer doesn't get a mention. Its representative isnt it? Yup, I'm still bitter necro didn't get the focus 4 rework that guardian got.
  6. I like that necromancer doesn't get a mention.
  7. For open world it's fine. For raids and fractals it lacks focus when consistent damage is required or potent support. The staff lacks both. Raids and fractals have horribly narrow requirements though.
  8. It's like with Braham. I feel he was pretty well written what with his strained relationship with his mother, then beginning to have a healthy relationship with her again only for her to be snatched away by the Mordrem. And the pressure to live up to his mother's legend. As if anyone, within this setting in their 20s, would act reasonable after this happened. But yet people skritt all over him for acting unreasonable.
  9. And add a rabbit pet too and call it the B U N N Y T H U M P E R!
  10. It would also be nice to actually have a main hand weapon for once. And sword is arguably the most pleasing main hand weapon when it comes to good looking skins.
  11. Absolutely not. Having our guild mes pull siege humpers from the walls into our waiting bomb is oh so satisfying.
  12. With the new Elonian Elementalist outfit, I really wish we had the ability to toggle certain pieces of the outfit by way of the shoulder toggle. The ribbons on the female version really put me off buying it. To name a few others: The Imperial outfit: the funny wing things on your back.Raiment of the Lich: the feathery shoulder pieces.Primeval Dervish: the collar.Dynamics Exo-Suit: the holograms.edit: First Follower Desmina: the timelord-esque piece on the male version. Horrible clipping with the current hairstyle my ele has.List any other pieces you would toggle, if you had this ability.
  13. Pfft. That's all just Charr propaganda. It has always belonged to the humans and will be once again. DEATH TO THE FALSE RULERS!
  14. There was a "hack" in which you could activate the first strike of the auto and then sheath your weapon before activating it again. It was hard to do but if successful, you could hit a foe far quicker than normal. Possibly the reason they changed it.
  15. I don't think I've ever seen a scourge use anything except Sand Savant in wvw. It's too kitten good. Wrong. Plenty of scourges don't use it because giving up demonic lore is just too much of a hit to their damage. Sure, some complain it's too hard to target players with the smaller radius of the regular sand shades, blah blah. L2P issue.I mean if you're talking roaming then maybe. But in a 20+ zerg fight, the constant movement and thus need to re-setup your shades means the reduced recharge from sand savant is a must. And then the added extra targets and larger area go without say.
  16. I don't think I've ever seen a scourge use anything except Sand Savant in wvw. It's too damn good.
  17. Dagger mainhand being one of them. Which is why people want it to be buffed and why this thread was created. To discuss what should be done. That's not true though so ... again, maybe you think it's relevant to ignore parts of the game to justify your thinking, but that doesn't make it true. Op was complaining about dagger in PVP/WVW as well ... besides, this might seem outrageous to you but again ... Anet isn't balance to meta anywhere ... so why would anyone assume that 'not good in any game mode' is a relevant reason to buff it? THink about this ... what does Anet do with warrior? They have almost ALL the weapons, but there are just three game modes. So if every weapon needs to be good in every game mode, then each game mode need about ... 4-5 weapons to be good in each for warrior? That's just unrealistic ... that line of thinking falls right apart. That's not how weapons are changed. It can't be and it doesn't NEED to be. That would be a luxury in the best case, a nice to have in the worst. You're whole argument assumes dagger needs to be a 'good' weapon (good in quotes because your metapushing) for SOME game mode. Assuming it's not good because it's not meta anywhere (which seems to be what you are saying), then I would say it doesn't ... The real assessment is that dagger has a reason to be and does it well. The question is not if dagger is good, but if that reason to be (or its concept) is useful. This is really simple; dagger is a sustain weapon; it has the most LF regen, a direct life siphon and some kind of weird corrupting immobilize ... you tell me where that could POSSIBLY fit in the meta where competitive PVE is about long-term damage output and team sharing, where PVP/WVW is about burst damage, team sharing and CC. It doesn't, and nothing you could do with that weapon would ever make it fit 'good' in those game modes without reworking it completely right from the concept. Anet could do that, but despite you and others continued ignorance to it's usefulness in OW PVE, I find it hard to think of what Anet's motivation to do so would be. So what if say they were to add, either via Quickening Thirst or directly, the ability to share the healing from Life Siphon with up to 5 nearby allies, emphasizing a healer type necro that has been encouraged through Blood Magic. Would you be against that idea?
  18. Dagger mainhand being one of them. Which is why people want it to be buffed and why this thread was created. To discuss what should be done.
  19. That makes no sense. You're going to have to explain yourself if you're just going to grab something out of the 'random insult bag'. It doesn't make any sense to justify a buff to dagger because it's a terrible weapon in PVP/WvW. Just use the weapons that aren't terrible in PVP/WvW. That's WHY Anet has given us choice of weapons. OP hasn't really thought this through. Dagger isn't bad because it's not good in PVP ... so buffing it because of PVP makes no sense. Because without buffs both weapons wouldn't be used, just as dagger isn't used, outside of anything resembling competitive play.
  20. If we applied your logic to balance Obtena, Axe and Greatsword would still be as they were when launched.
  21. Someone suggested that the dagger trait Quickening Thirst should allow Life Siphon to share the healing with up to 5 nearby allies. I'd be on board for it.
  22. What utility?Invisible shoulders? You can already hide shoulders. And adding it as an infusion doesnt mean removing the skin from the wardrobe The only advantage of it being a shoulder piece is you can use on any tier armour, instead of just ascended. But if you can afford either skins, you can probably afford ascended so its not really a valid argument.
  23. I would have made Nightfury as soon as it was released if it weren't a shoulder piece. Ruins my look without the one I use at the moment, and it doesn't help that you cannot use it alongside outfits. So non stacking Infusion is the best course of action in my opinion.
  24. Selbbub. But instead of having extensive underwater combat, create cities underwater not unlike the Gungan cities in Star Wars: Phantom Menace (but without the annoying racist creatures).
