  1. I have about 200 T charges and 15 level 80s. That comes out to 13 T charges per level 80. A full redo of a char’s look will take at least 10 to 11 T charges. This means I can afford to redo each char’s look once and then I have to get more charges. I need to be careful of my T charges if I don’t want to spend my play time farming them. Outfits allow a way to change my look easily, frequently and T charge free. A way I can’t do with armor and not run out of T charges.
  2. ^^ This! Yes, pls...I would love to be able to mix and match pieces rather than just wearing the 'outfit'. Then as a 'light armor' wearer I CAN HAVE PANTS!!! ~~ ahem....ty It’s not going to be “a little more.” It’s going to cost a lot more because armor costs more to make than outfits. Since they will need to cut up outfits to fit armor of 3 different weights then the 3 weights will be an extra cost as they’re not going to do it for free. Since one weight of gemstore armor is 800 gems, then a package of 3 weights plus one outfit will be at least 3100 gems. The other alternative is buying one outfit/armor weight separately (1500 gems). However since armor takes months to create and if they aren’t selling one outfit every couple of months or so then ANet will need to increase the price of both armor and outfits to get the same amount of profit, which means the above prices are the bare minimum and most likely higher.
  3. Personally I like outfits. I haven’t bought each one but I’ve bought most. They allow for fast change over to a whole new look and they allow my chars to wear something that’s beside their armor weight. As for converting them to armor... considering ANet has said that each set of armor for 5 races and 2 sexes takes months to make, I don’t think this is a realistic request. Since new gemstore armor costs more to make and takes longer to make, they’re not going to be as profitable for ANet to sell. Either ANet is going to make less profit for each or they’re going to have to charge more.
  4. Here’s what ANet has said before about skipping cutscenes
  5. Something new the gemstore can sell Dyeable helms that look like a Tengu head, pants (or coat) with a Tengu tail, gloves that look Tengu hands/arms, boots that look like Tengu feet. People can put them on a Charr and look like a Tengu.
  6. Here’s a forum thread that explains it: How to post your images Do you have Imgur set up? If you don’t then set up an account. Download the picture to imgur. Choose private when it asks you public or private. After it’s downloaded you can get a link then post the link on the forum using the format ![](Imgur link)
  7. A wolf mount skin. One that is modeled after the Primeval but is realistically a wolf with no special particle effects.
  8. I would not be against such an option, personally; some hearts I recall as being quite fun. Of course the keyword here is option. Of course. However Be careful what you ask for.ANet might give it to you.
  9. It’s because on the old forum there were threads asking for hearts to be re-doable as some thought it would be fun. No accounting for tastes imo.
  10. I’d get a giant King Toad Springer and dye it clashing fluorescent colors. Then I’d ride it everywhere, bringing beautyaciousness and toad envy to the masses.
  11. If you want a reason from us forumites the only answer we can give is ¯\(ツ)/¯Other than that, there are people who can portal you up there and help you get the achievement or maybe you can take a Mesmer char of yours and team up with another Mesmer to help each other to reach the goggles.
  12. Looks like they granted your wish. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Avocado_Smoothie +80 Power+60 Ferocity+10% Experience from Kills 1 avocado2 snowflakes1 bottle of coconut milk no they didn't. this isn't lvl 80 food. Oh? Avocado SmoothieItem type: FoodReq. level: 80Binding: Account Bound thats bug, a dev explained it on reddit. they are probably going to fix it. what i say by "it's not lvl 80 food" is that the stats amount is for low level food.A pity. (And kind of strange they’d put a new lower level food recipe in a new level 80 map). Maybe next LS then. Edit: however I can see it having a place in general PvE as it’s pretty cheap and top stats aren’t really needed there.

  15. It turned out to be Cragstead in northern WFH. I had left the game before LS1 came out and have never run through it, so that's probably why then. Yeah. That one and the other new ones added back then can confuse people. I’m glad you figured it out.
  16. Was it a POI added with the first Living Story episodes? Those can be hard to figure out if you had done map completion way back then before they were added.
  17. That sounds perplexing, and annoying. My suggestion would be to set your content guide to Hide Events and Personal Story and methodically wp from map to map. At each map check to see if all pois are done and if the pointer shows one still undone. If you’ve checked all Instances and checked each map with no success you might try doing a client repair, just in case, and if that doesn’t work, contact support.
  18. I can’t see them ever setting up mix and match. What I hope may happen is an extension of the outfit system where the other armor weights each get an armor-outfit panel. For example a heavy armor would have a light and a medium wardrobe panel where they can make up a light armor set and a medium armor set and those sets can be toggled to go over the heavy armor like an outfit. That would allow players to use the other armor weights even though you can’t mix and match between weights.
  19. This clipping argument is getting old, tbh... Outfits clip like crazy on my Sylvari, especially at hands and legs, 9 out of 10 Outfits have some kind of clipping issue on my characters. So just let us mix-n-match every armor weight and we WILL find pieces that do work together perfectly, I guarantee it. Edit: No offence btw, I know it's not your fault Anet always hides behind this "clipping" excuse. Can you give a quote where ANet said the problem was clipping? As far as I know that’s something the players have said, not ANet. What I did see them say was that the different weights were “fundamentally incompatible” where they gave as an example dye channels not matching up between weights.
  20. Considering this is their bread and butter and considering they’re making regular content releases which will lead up to the next story arc I’d say it’s 100% that there will be a 3rd Expansion.
  21. Tonics aren’t much use anymore if you can’t use them on a mount, so making them stay on while mounted would be great. Having them show only when dismounted might be an acceptable second option.
  22. If they do add these to the game they’ll almost certainly be outfits, not armor.
  23. I do understand that it takes months or longer to add features but it's not uncommon for old dead posts to suddenly rise to the top because someone responded to it. People do read old months old posts. Yep. But what are the odds that some random dead thread from months ago rises to the top and it also happens to be the one from which ANet was just about to add that particular suggestion, and it causes people who don’t know that the suggestion was accepted to run out to that spot and check it out for no real reason. Not very likely.
