Combat log bug or what is going on with that burst?

So, to understand you correct. This is basically Warhorn 4 (Hunter's Call) with pre loaded Sharpening Stone and the Stance? Ok, I really didn't expect that burst because I didn't even see an animation. Thanks for your help -
I got some weird Soulbeast burst today, but not from power damage but condi. I ran up to that Soulbeast and on an instant I got a full stack of bleeding and 10+ poison stacks. There wasn't an animation of any sort of skill. The combat log shows me using Earth Armor and dodging before getting downed while the Soulbeast used exactly one skill on me which even doesn't apply conditions, while the other is a passive trait. - the whole combat log is maybe 15 seconds of fight. What am I missing? The combat starts at the "Skill recharging" at 22:41 and ends in the same minute with the poison damage. Log 1 Log 2 I went to downstate right after that. ðŸ«

Just make it like Warhammer Online stealth: Give people an ability like Detection (on Armor as a stat or as trait or both) and let it work on 900 range. If your detection # is > # stealth you detect stealthed players and they get marked for you (means you can attack), but you can't detect any stealthed player over 900 range of you Get rid of tower and sentry mark for stealthed players Make stealth a similar ability you can stack to maximum of x (on Armor, so you have to choose Stealth+ over Crit/Power etc.) If you are stealthed you can stay stealthed until you attack, after that stealth goes on a cooldown and there is now way of re-stealthing until out of combat. or the cd is ready. Something like this would be nice and you could finally have other options for roaming with countering a playstyle that has no counter but port away.

Why is Scourge always getting hit with a stick?

The first problem is "Support Scourge" with Minstrel even exists. And of course it had to be nerfed because you could basically double the hp of people in your raid with barrier and still have great boon corrupt. -

Not necessarily, I just stated that they'd be able to. I think you run them as you did with Alacrity Renegade in PoF. And suddenly you have 3 Guard Specs viable in the meta.

The power creep was always terrible. It just got worse with all the power classes having even more access to boons than ever before. Remember the good times when you actually had to use combo fields for 10+ might stacks or being low on stab because your guardian is dead? -
This whole meta is just stupid. I don't know why there is boon corruption in the game. You have skills that strips 1 boon while a single Willbender stacks happily 5-8 boons into his group. With concentration you won't ever lose them anyway. The more players you have the better get the endless boon fiesta.

I think we should define risk here. If the only risk is downstate or losing a 1v1 (any form of fight) then risk should be equal distributed between specs, classes and players. Sadly the risk is way higher when you are a full berserker geared elementalist than a minstrel firebrand. I don't see how you could even out "risk vs reward" without streamlining everything into one class. And as much as I hate the stealth mechanic in this game I still don't think you can delete stealth without equally giving everyone (bad idea imho) similar traits, mobility, oh-kitten keys, etc. GW2 is way too complex with the classes and builds and utility and stats galore on gear on top of that. And that's basically why I'd start with the gear options first. You can easily find out which stats are overpowered by the distribution of armor on the different builds. Minstrel, Celestial, Marauder should be the most common (Trailblazer still a thing?) and that's where the first changes should be done. -

The problem with the balancing is: stats on gear 1) get rid of celestial 2) get rid of gear with healing in combination with +power or +condition damage. So if you want to pocket heal you either go full heal or at least suffer from a reduction of dps stats. 3) end the boon festival and get rid of +boon duration and make long boons only available due to combo fields 4) start balancing Will this solve all the problems? Am I the only that thinks after all these years that a defensive structure should give an advantage to the defender and not the attacker? Why is it working the other way around and walls are still a deathtrap for defenders? -
