  1. Actually the nerf came last year...and unfortunately it was due to a lot of players exploiting the rewards as ghosts (if you know you know) in the gamemode. I won't mention what because then this thread will be insta-deleted.
  2. Then you should probably block them for being a liar (I kid I kid).
  3. Rule #1 in any competitive gamemode: DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR ENEMIES SAY
  4. So basically 19 of the 20 people who still play this gamemode?
  5. Twice in the past hour I've killed someone in the camp (Southeast Camp/Greenwater Village) on Blue Borderlands after they've engaged the guards. No timer for defense event ever appears, no swords on the camp ever appear (even 30s after they engage the guards) and no credit for objective defender despite killing an enemy player in the circle who has engaged/killed guards.
  6. Actually I'd like to see this go in the complete opposite direction. Anet, can you please add siege blueprints in pvp so we can throw them on our enemies...and friends...SIEGE FOR EVERYONE!!!
  7. Don't you dare mess with my Ambergris gravy train!!! The fewer people fishing the better!!!
  8. From what I can tell you're looking in the wrong game. Sadie Salvitas is in Guild Wars 1, not Guild Wars 2. https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Sadie_Salvitas
  9. Wait I'm confused? I thought top stats were introduced so the PvE players in PvP could get their dailies finished. After all, isn't that what PvP is at this point? It's 95% PvE players who hate the gamemode at this point anyways.
  10. Have you managed to start it yet? For the past 6 months I've been saying to myself I'm going to start on Aurora and Vision, and then I look at the list of requirements and think, "NOPE". I love reading all these posts by PvE whiners complaining they had to play WvW for a WHOLE 8 HOURS to get their Gift of Battle. Aurora and Vision will likely require 100+ hours in PvE. I'd rather spend 100 hours in WvW versus 1 hour in PvE.
  11. Exactly. And at this point it's been 8 years. Time to put it out of it's misery.
  12. Except that Anet has split the balance between SPvP and WvW so much at this point that a build you run in WvW is drastically different than the same exact build in SPvP. Anet has completely destroyed SPvP at this point.
  13. That IS me being nice. I could say a lot worse about the shitshow that is Structured PvP. The Titanic in it's current state is better maintained than that gamemode.
  14. Well I mean Anet COULD just delete Structured PvP to free up some resources. I'm sure the 10 people who actually care about that gamemode will be upset, but I can live with that.
  15. HMM. New content like...once you engage an enemy you're stuck in combat til either you die or they die? No more runaway builds? Works for me!
  16. I just want to know what a klugshicor is?? Even google couldn't tell me.
  17. I was working on one of the Jormag variant skins and used the GW2 wiki page https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Aurene's_Facet_of_Persuasion for help. Specifically the information on the main page is incorrect; the information on the link https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Purified_Icebrood_Aether is the correct information. But I have no idea who to contact to correct this information. Any helpful suggestions?
  18. WHAT? Vayne is lying don't believe a word they say!! Fishing is dead and everyone should give up on it!! (as I patiently sit on my stacks of Ambergris and watch the prices continue to rise on the TP).
  19. Yes, and unfortunately I speak from experience. I was once in a rush to build 99 fishing stacks just as Dusk/Dawn was approaching (and I had only entered the map moments before) so I made the mistake of using 4 pieces of jerky...before I had anchored...which amounted to only the skiff speed boost. After I anchored and equipped my fishing rod, I was then able to use another 4 pieces to gain the desired 99 stacks. It's a pricey way to build fishing stacks quickly, but very helpful if you're the only person on the map fishing and don't have an extra 30 minutes to build up your stacks. It's also VERY useful if you're working on the new Horn of Maguuma collection, as there are a very limited number of fishing nodes in the new maps and you won't be able to travel by skiff from one node to the next.
  20. I say do whatever you want. At this point there are only like 10-15 players left who actually care about PvP. The rest of us are just trying to get our dailies and weeklies finished. And as for Anet? They gave up on the game mode years ago.
  21. Amyntas isn't much different than EotM. Basically a dream map for players with knockback and a nightmare for those without permanent stability. Not to mention that it's more difficult to navigate than ANY other WvW map. There's a reason 90% of the WvW population hates EotM.
  22. Are you using the jerky AFTER you've anchored and equipped your fishing rod? Unfortunately if you try to use the jerky before you've done both those things it will result in only giving you the skiff speed buff. Also note that if you disembark from your skiff and move to another location on the map you will lose the stacks gained from the jerky despite the 1hr timer.
  23. It just feels like 90% of the relics added are worthless; almost everything is tied in to an elite skill with a 60/90s cooldown. It just feels like Anet's half-assed it again to get our money while giving us an expansion that really feels pointless if you already had a skyscale and aren't interested in making the newest legendary armor. EDIT: Also the fact that the relics won't stack and are soulbound is wreaking total havoc on my vault. I've got one tab already half-full of relics that I've earned through the reward tracks (thus not the starter relics) that are taking up space until I can decide whether they're worth saving or not.
  24. Just did today's activity, which is Sanctum Sprint. No credit towards the Wizard's Vault daily. EDIT: Same as the crab toss, apparently leaving Sanctum Sprint before the timer runs out results in no credit for the daily, even if you crossed the finish line.
