Running Windows 11. This issue was fixed for me as of yesterday and was fine this morning but it returned with today's update. Very annoying. It also causes an "error network access denied" when I try to use the trading post.

Fact is, WvW is geared to the lowest common denominator relative to skill. Skill? IMHO that shouldn't be regarded as something positive in a game - it should surely appeal to a broader audience than just the elite? As such, skill shouldn't be seen as something to be lauded or rewarded. I think the Arenanet who made the game might have known this.Skill shouldn't be lauded or rewarded?? I rest my case. Lolol.

Hence the totally out of control application of conditions . .. run around in a blob, drop a kitten load of them in a general direction without really targeting anything or anyone and hope for a kill. A chimp could be trained to do that kitten. Anyone who thinks different is really not being honest with themselves, or anyone else for that matter. That said, if you like it, fine. but try not being dismissive of those who find fault with it. spoken like a true kitten who never ran in a solid group... people like you on their rangers are one big problem wvw has. you guys sadly have really no effect at all in a "Blob", bc u think everything happens automatically. then u die somewhere a billion miles from the tag on your ranger and /s "res pls", often even before the battle is done yet. then again, people with that kinda believe are great bag providers.Like I said, you are just kidding yourself and have no clue what you are talking about.

The SMC change was sloppy from an aesthetics viewpoint. If change is deemed necessary, at least do the job right.

Agree. We see these chicken little posts all the time. I just attribute it to the fact that people always find something to bitch about. I'm pretty sure, though, that if I felt as pessimistic about the game as some people apparently do I would just move on. Instead, its the status quo sucks, the attempted fix sucks, etc.

Last I checked, it was a few years ago, open PvP servers in WoW aren't nearly as popular as no PvP servers in WoW. In fact when I checked a lot of the PvP servers had major population issues. I don't think enough people enjoy open world PvP in mmorpgs anymore. And there are korean games that fill that need well. Then why WoW Classic is a thing now? As far as I remember WoW's servers at start were open PvP full mode on. Also I'm not saying to have the one or the other... I'm saying to have both in the same time coexisting.I'm sorry, but WoW Classics is NOT a thing and isn't likely to become one … at least, not to any serious gamer that I know.

Can I just say that telling someone "you don't even know what to do" simply isn't true. There is a learning curve as most everyone would agree. Also, I get your frustration regarding class balance (we all pretty much agree on that), but keep in mind that balancing a shitload of rather dissimilar classes is quite difficult. Lets see what happens with the next major "balance" update and revisit that topic. Hope springs eternal.
