Please make Silverwastes Shovels tradable.

Finally, after nearly a decade my tiny guild of three people were able to claim our first guild hall....and we now basically can't upgrade it. Those shovels not only drop from few sources, but have insanely low drop rates; its insulting and disheartening to know that after waiting a decade to get the guild hall, we're now going to have to farm the Silverwastes daily for MONTHS if not a year just to get the first mine unlock. Who decided those things should be account bound? That was a HORRIBLE decision.

There are people who will sell them to your guild.  It does come with risk.

 

They become a guild member, you pay them the agreed upon amount and they deposit them instead of you.

Not all but some guilds do tend to value PR. They aren't going to want the reputation of being that guild that scammed players to achieve their success. Not fool proof, but maybe don't make deals with guilds that are only like 1 - 10 people. 

As for collecting shovels. Just find a RIBA group in LFG. They have been a little less active lately with an expansion being out but most of the time you can find one. Join their map, do donuts around the map tagging quests. Given a bit of time you will have shovels. I have single handedly filled guild banks with shovels. You can acquire a lot, and the map pays decent.

Yeah I ran that earlier...did the meta three or four times straight, running with the "zerg" and managed to get....six shovels. RNG hates me.

You don't really need to stay near the commander or with a zerg. You can break off. Its just a matter of trying to make sure you do enough on each event to get gold. Protecting the bull escorts for a wave or two, killing a group of mordrem at a base and simply moving on. Openings chests during the chest train at the end has a small chance of yielding a shovel i think as well. It's hard to believe you would only get 6 shovels even in a normal round of silverwastes.

I would also like the Silverwaste Shovels to be tradable or make the Silverwaste Reward PVP track to be repeatable.

I wish I'd seen this sooner, but I've been dealing with this issue for the past few years as I've decided to solo-level up guilds (I enjoy decorating the guildhalls).  My suggestion, which a few others have already mentioned, is to simply set up a LFG in Silverwastes and offer to buy the shovels from someone who's willing to join your guild temporarily and deposit them.  I've always offered 30s per shovel and have done this numerous times without ever having any issue with the person stealing my gold.  Also remember that you can only deposit as many shovels as your guild has available upgrades for that level, so you'll only be able to deposit at most 100-150 shovels at a time, so you won't risk losing massive amounts of gold as you won't need to buy but so many shovels at once.

Anyways best of luck leveling your guildhall up!!  Doing it with a small group will be tough!!

I am in the same position as you. I have a 3 person guild. We occasionally do the meta in silver wastes. Yes it takes a long time, but you can do it. We are level 47 at the moment. We also got the EoD guild hall with just us as well. Like a lot of things in the game, patience is needed.

I'd like them to be tradable too because I have far more than I'm ever likely to need but I don't want to just delete them.

I should probably look for a guild to give them to. Mine don't need them any more.

I was just trying to do the return achievements and I couldn't even get 10 shovels after hours of farming the map after completing the rest of the achievements for the zone...   These things really should drop more.

I got a hall for my bank guild as soon as it came out and it may take me a few years to max the guild entirely but with items like this I've had no problem LFGing for people to put their shovels into my hall and I pay them in gold after they've done. Just don't part with gold before confirming receipt of shovels and you'll be fine. There's plenty of people with excess shovels who'll say yes to the gold 😃
