Helped the chill gamers, now give us that end game content plz

With strikes and emboldening + making some classes that can hit top dps with minimal effort is great for escorting new or chill style gamers to end game content. Great efforts by Anet and good results. But if you want this wave of new players from other "on the downslope MMOs to continue", they're gonna need some more end game content. As I see it, new (hardcore) gamers coming in at EoD have about a year, maybe 2, before they reach the final stages of end game content. Absolutely everything for success has been documented for it. I'm not talking open world / stories, I mean raids and fractals. Give us all another wing to master, fractal NM/CM to bum rush. Talk has been that strike missions will fully replace raids? This can't be ... the general premise at IBD was these were for raid training / quick rewards. A Canthan inspired raid would be amazing, plus 8 is a lucky number right? And let me just say, I get we just got a wave of new content. I am exploring and enjoying it but I just want to hear SOMETHING about raids. This is my personal favorite content of GW2 and I'd be sad if strikes somehow replaced them going forward.

I'm pretty sure the developers can't wait to create contend for 9 players world wide while their expansion catering to normal PVE players was a wild success

Unpopular opinion, HT is wildly boring and easy. The other strikes are pretty decent though. Definitely nice to see a strike boss actually move

Despite the complaint of the OP, if GW2 gets a whole bunch of new players, they will CERTAINLY not be lacking endgame content. I mean, it's very kind of the OP to consider the new players, but the idea that new players that never played any of the endgame content in GW2 will lack content to experience endgame just doesn't make sense. They are the players that will have the MOST endgame content to experience, not the least. 

Let's call a spade a spade here. This isn't a request on the behalf of new players. If hardcore new players rip through it, so be it. It doesn't mean it lacks.

I'm referencing the wow vets that are gonna pick up gw2 like it's their native language

Hey now i didn't say ht cm was easy. It does kitten me off that people say it's the hardest cm in the game though. Gameplay footage shows people nearly asleep while completing it with the audacity to say it's insane lmao. I'm waiting until every ad isn't a prog and then i'll clear it. I got Aetherblade title my first time running it without knowing mechanics, it was easy. Any chance kp shows i've ran each eod strike like 3 times max?

I did just run HT again 5 minutes again, was a bit cooler this time around but thats probs from saving the orbs from people not knowing mechs. Still easy though. Adding greens and more red drops doesn't make it insane. Ima wait for sensory overload to wear off and see fi people still feel the same about the cm

Maybe, just maybe try the CM first instead of going off of footage which you don't understand. Or at least take some time to look at footage where players either explain what they are doing (Teapot has a great interview with Maximum from Team Liquid). Most everything looks easy if you look at footage of players who have spent days on mastering it.

 

HT CM is by far the most difficult fight, for multiple reasons, this game has seen so far. Most if not all of the players which have completed it have completed every other CM as well, and so far all agree, HT CM was the most difficult encounter to tackle.

 

HT normal mode is a joke compared to the CM not only because it lacks "some greens and red drops".

😂 Excuse me?!

You call people being 100% focused (hence not constantly babbling while performing) "asleep", and a CM where the slightest misstep results in a wipe "easy/boring"?

You don't seem to be aware that the "footage" you saw were final, successful runs, and that it took them tons of hours over the course of a week to become this coordinated to make it look easy to you?

I know you are ... and as new players, they aren't going to lack endgame content because it's a whole pile of content they never experienced before. Don't confuse quantity for difficulty here. I suspect any Vet WoW players are not going to be overly impressed with this endgame content ... but it's not because it's not there.
