Magic Find question as I prep for Mad King

Currently the Magic Find cap is set at 750%. This is including the maxed out 300% you can obtain on your character. That leaves 450% to be obtained via other sources.

Now, according to the official Wiki, you max out your additional sources Magic Find and it adds up to an additional 445%. Bringing you to a total of 745%.  My question is where is the additional missing 5%? Is there an error in the Wiki?

It doesn't mean you can't reach 750%, it means that's the cap. It was added after players were opening Festival items in Silverwastes after digging up a Lost Bandit Chest, which was reaching 900%+ and breaking the internal loot tables when it went past 800% from map-speciifc bonuses from Silverwastes.

The cap was set just a bit higher than what is normally obtainable.

No it is right there in the section you mentioned.

Magic find was Capped to 750% back in February 2022(see game updattes), prior to this it was uncapped

this doesn't mean that the current maximium attainable magic find value IS 750%; but if other sources become available to boost it, it will never get over 750%

Go to your Hero Panel>Achievements. Scroll down on the right side and hover your mouse over Magic Find bottom right. It'll show a breakdown of your current personal MF:

From Luck: X (Max 36)

From Achievements: X (Max 300)

That's a possibility of at least 781% (with the 445%) although capped at 750% after players were taking advantage of the previous Lunar New Year MF bonuses.

Yes now 750 is the max possible magic find you can get so your second line must be a typo I guess?
