Well for me it's his monotone voice and speaking slightly too slow. That would've been fine if he didn't have walls of text to go through either. People will have different opinions about him, but for me, it was just disheartening whenever he opened his mouth. It actually made me quit the game for 5 years I loathed it so much. I finally came back for PoF and now avoid HoT like the poison that it is.
