In WvW only Due to these changes we also felt players should not be jumping about so much so fall distance and damage has been modified, players are advised to stop jumping down stairs else they may need to be revived by more cautious moving players that are giving stairs the respect they deserve. Late notes: Fall distance and modifiers have been corrected and now only applies in WvW after the Meta Boss Incidents yesterday. We are considering re-adding daily reviewer for those players helping out each other during those events and will re-launching a Boss Rush Week to ensure players that they can do these encounters safely once again. 🙂 Disclaimer: these are not actual suggestions and no Charr were harmed in the making of this thread. Here are some strategies: Focus Fire: Coordinate with your team to focus your attacks on the celestial willbender. Their survivability relies on active mitigation and healing, so overwhelming them with burst damage can quickly take them down before they have a chance to react. Condition Pressure: Celestial willbenders often have limited condition cleanse abilities. Applying heavy condition pressure can quickly overwhelm their ability to mitigate damage and heal themselves. Bring classes and builds that specialize in applying conditions like burning, bleeding, and poison. Interrupts and Crowd Control: Interrupting the celestial willbender's key skills and applying crowd control effects can disrupt their rotations and prevent them from effectively using their defensive abilities. Skills that daze, stun, knockdown, or immobilize can be particularly effective. Outnumbering: Engage the celestial willbender with superior numbers to overwhelm their defensive capabilities. Coordinate with your team to outnumber and surround them, making it difficult for them to escape or receive support from their allies. Boons Stripping: Celestial willbenders rely on boons to enhance their survivability and effectiveness in combat. Bringing classes or builds that specialize in boon stripping can help weaken them significantly, making them more vulnerable to damage. Terrain and Line of Sight: Utilize the terrain to your advantage by forcing the celestial willbender into unfavorable positions or obstructing their line of sight to their allies.
