Well as the title say, I can't find anybody at anytime for this event, tried to make a LFG group, asking in /map with no success.

This event can't be done solo so the mastery locked behind it can't be obtained.

I'm guessing the staff aren't going to do something about it... Stop locking mastery behind event that nobody is going to play after a week of release, this is dumb af and penalize people trying to complete their mastery collection

ah, I recall that event—it took me a moment. I only participated once; it’s somewhat of a tedious and irritating activity. That’s likely why it’s not popular.

I've solo'd it using the skyscale instead of the rifles. This lets you get well ahead of the platforms and blast/take the agro from the turrets so that less hits the platforms. Just remember to fly through the magic orbs left by the turrets to refill your fireball ammo. Also remember to backtrack to the platforms after taking out turrets ahead, as the previous turrets respawn just behind the platforms as the last of them is passing the area they were. Soon as you've nuked the closest ones there, turn back to ahead and fly to the next spawn location of turrets.

The one time I tried to use skyscale for it, I did not receive participation for it like at all, it was a long time ago, so maybe they fixed it since.

Considering I got that done in the middle of the work ay, in the middle of the week, and all it took was to tag up and list it in the lfg, and I have got over a dozen people joining, and then had to repeat the process, because meta starting prevented spawn of the last event in the chain, and all of that happened months after release, seems to put a shade on that statement.

I've tried a few times, no one else doing it.  I'll keep an eye on it, but the part that also makes this harder is that it is the second part in an event sequence.  So I might spend 5-10 minutes doing the first part so the escorting Livia starts, only for that to fail.  So oftentimes, no one is even doing the first part, which is likely part of the problem.

But like a lot of SotO content, I suspect this falls into the 'do it once, never do it again category' - there really is no reason to do it a second time (yes, there is a repeat achievement that gets you some rewards, but that probably really is not worth the time to do all the events for that bastion).

Yeah that's unfortunate. I myself am done with that content as a whole. It's definitely a 'one and done' for some of us. For me it's one of those events I don't do unless I have to. Up until recently the only reason for me to even do it was to progress on T2 obby armor. As time goes on and more people finish their armors, it's possible that it may get even harder to do such events.

Just keep trying, eventually you'll get it done.

I actually really liked that event, except that it wasn't possible to complete alone, but the on-rails shooter gameplay was a lot of fun. Maybe it might be doable as a class with a lot of projectile blocks?

It didn't seem that popular from the start. Isn't this soloable though?

From Wiki: there are five snipers along the path, killing at least two of them with the SAK rifle seems to get you the achievement guaranteed, regardless of if you've lost platforms (you'll get a line from Livia saying "Wow, you really know how to use that thing")

Try doing that I guess.

Yeah it was kind of a fun event. I just hate that turrets respawn so kitten fast. Really takes the fun out of it because it makes you feel like it doesn't matter that you just killed some bad guys to defend your allies, they respawn after, that, 30 seconds or so?

Personally I had some issues soloing the first one, in a chain, as you are racing against mobs stealing relics that are for some reason super tanky, and tend to spawn at wierd levels of the room. That is where I got my idea to tag up for it in the first place.

Strange, I remember doing it 3 or 4 weeks ago. 

I simply tagged up in that bastion and called out on map chat what I'm doing. The meta event got in my way. After that we were about 12 players.

Maybe form a group and don't wait for people to come. I guess there are still players that want to do it for the achievement and are fed up with its tedious nature.

It takes time. If you can, then use com tag. Ask in map chat and hope for best. Weekends are better than weekdays of course. In worst case several weeks of camping it should do it.

PS Yes, it is issue and it will always be the issue. If you plan to buy next expansion, then I recommend to do everything in first few weeks or you will struggle again.

I will point out that the Dragonbash event is in full swing.  Much of the population may be doing that.  If they don't participate now they have to wait until next year.

So I tried to do it with the Skyscale as suggested didn't get much luck 😞

Someone helped me early today we didn't make it (event failed), he suggested that we should be more so I will try again with the apple tag, but I feel just move on to something else, it feel like a waste of time...

Funny, I did that exact same thing on a Saturday in the middle of the day for 30 minutes and got ZERO joiners.  Maybe it's time to take your god off a pedestal and admit this is kitten poor quest design, extremely off putting for returning players. I do not want to buy any further expansions if they are all like this.

There are multiple factors to take into considerations, and trying to do side achievements when festival is ongoing, may impact things.

If I were to nitpick, I'd point out that there is no quest design around the event chain nor related achievements in the first place since they are not quests. Less nitpicky is that this is a side event chain on a map, which has optional side achievement tied to it that happens to have a single mastery point in it's awards. And by far this is not the hardest mastery point to get, yet it is perfectly ommissible - I have basically ignored those "do all events in area once" for Inner Nayos maps, and still had no issue getting enough points to get all masteries.

After trying multiples times at different times of day, waiting up to 45 minutes sometimes without any luck, got the achievement just by passing by : I saw one dude doing the first quest of the event, joined him, put an apple tag on me and /map the chat for help, 3 more people did join and it was just enough to keep 1 cloud alive for complete the event.

Here my 2 cents opinion considering that 2 mastery point are locked behind this chain of event "Comrades in Arms" and "Oblige Obscure" and it is very hard to find people doing this chain of event :

- Remove the need to do the chain of event for those 2 mastery

- Double the reward or offer something worth for people who has already done it ? (to push more people doing it)

The fate of less popular content in online games, if you are in a guild I'd see if anyone there will help you if you get into a similar situation again. I'm dreading getting to less popular stuff myself I still haven't gotten outside core tyria content.

This is a classic 'no one does X anymore' thread. Person complains, gets "hmu in game and I'll help you out" response, twice lol, and proceeds to completely ignore it, as if the goal of the thread wasn't to accomplish the task but rather to complain about it . . .
