Please be sure not to delete the character that receives them." This really means the gather tools can't be put to the shared inventory slots that other characters can use them too? So Rubi, where do we go to exchange the gathering tools we bought from the gem store (that did not have glyphs originally) to get the one that has a glyph selection box? The black lion exchange specialist only has the unbound and eldritch horror sets along with 2 individual pieces to exchange. Wife and I both have multiple sets of molten as well as jack in the box scythe. Will we expect the glyph update for all tools? I'm pretty sure the retroactive change to add the glyphs to the eldritch gathering tools from the deluxe upgrade is JUST for that. The black lion glyphs started appearing about a year ago I think and clearly Anet have decided that is the way to go in future with their gemstore gathering tools but I haven't seen any sign that they intend to retroactively give them to anyone who previously bought gathering tools sans glyphs over the last decade. (Trying to complete those first.) Than saw - when checking the wiki of that exchange vendor that gives out the toys - that there are things to exchange regarding those toys. So ... my first glyphs now. Feels not too bad. Got the reaping one for gathering and for logging/mining the the one that makes it 50 percent faster. Tools were in my inventory, got them back with 3 Black Lion Glyph Selection Containers. When SotO was released, there were things thay you could only get on Wizards Tower (like crafting legendary Obsidian armour), so I wouldn't be surprised if some vendors on other places don't work. You need to reach out to support either login a the top or bottom of this thread page. You need to hand in your old ones at the black lion exchange specialist. If you destroyed the old ones because they had no use for you without a glyph you can try to contact support.
