Stavros.8249
Hello,I made a condition chronomancer to use rewinder, but i dont do damage. It appears confusion doesnt scale with condition damage for the per second damage. I dont understand why and it is the only condition that does that. Taril.8619
I guess it's due to how Confusion is more about the proc damage from using skills.Heck, it used to be that Confusion didn't have per second damage and was only the proc damage.
Infusion.7149
Confusion used to only work on skill use. That's why many of the skills have a power damage component. It's (0.0975 Condition Damage) + 49.5 damage per stack vs players on skill activation , (0.195 Condition Damage) + 95.5 per stack vs NPCs
Stavros.8249
But how can I use it in pve. It must change in damage per second to 0.06 and do more damage if a skill is made, like torment. And for pvp keep it like this.

And for pvp keep it like this.I used to play Mesmer allot before 2/25 (not so much now) when running ARC and using condi I learned that Bleeding is almost always the top damage source on condi mirage. It was this way in any game mode and as I recall with any weapon set. I was running pistol off hand with dueling and usually either illusions or Chaos depending what I was doing. Confusion may have a brief spike when things attack quickly, if you know the encounter you can use combo fields to add more stacks and get some nice burst, however, your bread and butter damage on condi Mirage is going to be bleeding followed by torrment. Confusion is usually 3rd highest damage source at best.
HowlKamui.5120
confusion is a great "burst" condi in pvp or wvw roaming but I suspect it isn't the best in PVE. pistol and torch should be the main sources of condi damage i'd assume

I play it and know my around it, but its not every situation that i use it
Fueki.4753
Do regular enemy attacks in PvE even count as skills?Confusion always felt absolutely useless to me in PvE.
