New trait line [suggestion]

A new trait line that cannot be deselected and is an additional trait line.This trait line would have only one or two activated traits at any time.This trait line would be a general trait line where other traits may not seem to fit any other trait line.This trait line would be easier for devs to increase the pool of (traits) because adding a trait would not cause too much of an imbalance compared to when adding a trait to any other trait line.There is not major or minor traits, just a pool of traits with one or two to be used at a time.

We HAD mandatory traits in the past. Offering a pool of traits without the limitation of having them in a trait line, thus limiting access to them would lead us full circle.

The assumption that this would not cause a lot of unbalance, or at the least not a lot of extra work load is flawed. You are suggesting an additional trait line which would work essentially exponentially balance wise on top of the current system, that by mere mathematical logic would mean a TON of extra work and balance.

This is already in the game. It's a hidden trait line that come from when you pick the profession and it determines your skills, weapons, and specializations

New trait line , where the bonuses dont show up immediately when you hit someone ,but every 5 sec a trait is unlocked , while your benefit from boons/protection is reduced as the engage progress , or the cd/resources are increased , or movement speed is reduced :)edit:Or a button that you must push yourself to unlock the trait >comes with a backfire (removes boon/you are slowed every 3 sec/drains dodge ......Otheriwe dont push it and wait 2.5 sec for another ....Or "sucrifice " the trait , giving boost damage/knockback/mobility , but cannot benefit/unlock it again for 25 sec
Edit2:Or these attacks are like Venom share , that only works to whoever has Core spec +EoD + yourself .Or every 30k damage done , reward your team score with 1 point 9regadles if you kill some1)And in PvE , the cd for each trait unlock , is 2 sec
