Skyscale Rider / Ruler of the Sky achievements bugged?

After getting skyscale unlocked and getting rift mastery you can open them and collect volatile magic. It seems achievement doesn't progress when you finish. I did 2 rifts but achievement seems bugged. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah. I posted about this a few hours ago. It's bugged unless they're on a hidden time-gate and we have to wait until the next daily reset. Partially kidding.

That was my assumption, too, to be honest. :/

Edit: Do you have to be superfast for this, or is it truly bugged and 99% of the time no rift will open at the end? I saw only one this far, but I wasn't fast enough, so...

UPDATE: Apparently you do have to be superfast. You only get one attempt per map IP.

That’s lame since the timer, assuming it pops up correctly, gives you like 10 min.

I did one today, but it didnt register on the achievement panel?

I would like to see a screenshot with this achi completed

Maybe because they’re still ‘locked’ despite us being able to see them? I don’t see them on gw2effciency.

I also tried it and didn't got achievement progress. I started the same rift twice and was only able to finish it in the second run, still only got a Mistborn Mote as price.

I just did all 12 rifts in ascalon and that was a nice waste of time

Would be nice to get any kind of msg from anet if they're aware of this bug

Or at least no one on gw2efficiency when I looked earlier today.

It's broken for sure. Got to a "closing" rift in time, did not close, just stayed there. No credit, of course.

Which also bugs out and doesn't always appear on your bar.

Yeah. Half the time I’m checking to see if those achievements are working I don’t even have it on the bar.

Anyone made progress with these achievements?

The actual descriptions appear incomplete by the way - there's no body text in any of them.

I doubt anyone has. Guess we will have to wait for the patch on Tuesday.

Thank God, I'm not the only one having trouble with this. I found several of them and was wondering why I got no credit for the rifts even though I got every node avery time. I do hope this bug gets adressed soon and I wish everyone else currently on this good luck.

I have tried to do rifts in Ascalon. For the first time when you open the rift I didnt have any timer. For the second time I did have. But anyways no achievement progress.

I am disappointed that there hasn't been any acknowledgement about this bug.
