this is going to be one of your biggest problems, rather than just the open water/any fish to add to the saltwater ones you've added every fish that can come from that hole as a more common drop, ive only done dragons end/avid and echovald forest/avid and i only have 1 missing fish from normal saltwater achievement.

this event has been bugged since core tyria was released all those years ago, what stops it from proceeding is if during the previous event the npc dies after event completion, even after reviving it wont carry on and that event is dead on that specific map instance. the wiki page does note this bug, either need to try and force a new instance or wait for a game update to refresh all maps to get it going again.

I don’t think it should be nerfed, I think Anet have done it this way on purpose. They did say they don’t want people to get around mechanics after all. 10% damage from pre events plus 20% damage from going in the green circles I think is needed and has to be done. Just my opinion on it.

I doubt this is a bug, there are other stat combos in the game you can’t just go and get from a warlords box for example. Means you will have to use the mystic forge to stat swap or craft your own.

Could be because the majority of players doing the canthan stuff are plowing through the storyline so most of them are in instances. But I do agree it does seem strangely quiet, one of my guild tried to get a group together for the map meta event, 3 people turned up.

I went and had a go at getting these last night since the puzzle was a daily, I got 2 in half hour which I don’t think is that bad for a rare drop, maybe magic find in the issue for your attempts, I was running with over 500mf.

It’s not the easiest of jumps but once you pull it off it does get easier, as the post is ice you need to keep pressing forward when you hit it then jump again straight away otherwise your sliding off at the same time, don’t try and climb the ramp straight away, either then jump on the cloud or let it stun you then jump on it. If your in eu I’m more than happy to join you for a run to help you get passed it.

Okay, adding something here since I went and checked myself, it’s not 80% chance of getting the upgrade, it’s actually 80% chance you’ll get materials from salvaging the upgrade. For example if you salvaged an item and got lucent motes from it that was the salvaging kit salvaging the upgrade inside as well as just the materials you’d get from a normal salvage. Black lion kits say recover upgrades not salvage which further confirms this.

The achievement says sons of svanir, this maybe why, the boss is a high ranking member of the sons of svanir where as the svanir enemies were sons of svanir but were turned into icebrood making them no longer sons of svanir.

This is the problem when working with percentages, it’s 80% of what you could say 8 out of 10 or you could say 8k out of 10k in which case that’s 2k you won’t get anything on. I’d take those as a pinch of salt especially when most upgrades are really cheap on the trading post, blues and greens you don’t want just use basic salvage kits and sell the mats to buy your upgrades. Rares mystic If you have the stones and exotics check the price of the upgrades, if they are worth it use black lion, otherwise sell the item or use mystic again.

This part is not technically true, if your in your lane when the last chak goes down then yes you will have to press f when you get to the chest but that’s only because your out of range when it spawns. If you were in the group that got the first kill then went and waited for the chest then it will auto loot as your in range.

Don’t forget leaving. Character somewhere like that would cause deminishing returns which means you are less likely to get them drop.

The reason they don’t show every listing is probably because some items will have thousands of different prices. The tp can be slow enough at times, if they listed every possible price for every item in game it would probably just stop working all together.

I have done this on a guardian, there are items in game that hurt yourself when used. These would strip aegis pretty much at your choice. OP, did you ever get the achievement? Not sure what server your on but if eu I’m more than happy to help you get the achievement, done it a few times helping people and don’t get bored of sab.

I’ve noticed this with head armor, previewed a dye on all slots but the first dye slot did nothing. Cleared that dye slot and re previewed it and it worked.

Watching the dulfy video from the original release it seems it puts it behind you so it’s still facing the tree, and if you harvest from the furthest away you can get it should be right, standing right at the tree the bear would end up right on the other side of the tree harvesting thin air.

The problem I get when on my mes in pvp is if a thief gets the first hit in, not always an option but if I see a thief in the distance go stealth wait for them to get to the node then attack first, once clones are on the field it’s a lot easier to win 1v1 imo.

Maybe the problem isn’t the server but your connection to it, not saying there isn’t one but I’ve not experienced it myself or anyone I know, I do all trib each day and 10+ normals to get guild members through.

You can get on the shortcut eagle and jump off at a set point and land just before the glitch, whole map in 6 mins including glitch is my personal record.doesn’t work in trib though

Might need to give more information, guessing by the description you mean you were dead when you used a portal tome to sandswept, not sure what skimmers you are referring too. Can I ask where you came from when using the portal tome, reason I ask is because if you leave wvw while downed or dead(think dead counts) from my experience you will spawn in pve dead,
