Bladesworn is already ruined for me thanks to the people complaining about its slowness. yeah it was slow but at least it was dealing crazy dps. now it cant go pass 34k in most realistic scenarios. Tell me one reson to pick it over berserker. No need to mention how they dumbed down dragon trigger reach, and lush forest and flow stabilizer. Well done lol for the banners part if they don't undo banner bundle NERF or give back mechanics and skills warriors LOST, there's no way to take it as a rework.

I want something close to the lotro captain's gameplay. heavy blows, defeat response skills, companion soldiers, unleashing ghosts, sharing self healthbar with someone you choose (sheild brother), basically buffs pets and heal focused. Most logical weapon for that is staff to be used as halberd.

  6. They'll find their way back. I can't talk about wow's content but it takes less than a day or two to deplete eso's "chapters". for dlcs, it's even worse. what zenimax does is a robbery compared to content quality of Guild wars' expansions.

  8. Welcome to spellbreakers world lol. Most of the especs in eod is quite cheesy imo. But especially the untamed and harbringer took it to next level so i won't complain what revenants are getting. By biggest problem is launching self to atmosphere once in 20 seconds, it is visually ridiculous.
  9. I don't think it is about making banners meta, it's about giving warrior a proper boon support functionality not making it a one trick pony. You might say we already had some boon sharing built in already, and in that case It's also anet admitting that some boons worth more than the others and warrior offers nothing worthy right now.
  10. I support warrior gaining access to smoke field, but as bladesworn, not core. To me it makes a lot of sense because the bladeworn gameplay is suspenseful. This may make things very interesting.

Still the easiest visual solution if we are not going to have a remote option to resummon to make banners mobile is having a pet soldier carrying it. And it would be nice if we can swap / exchange banners and weapons between those soldiers. Won't care if you tell me it will look too crowded and screen will visually cluttered. They should have thought about that before giving 5 summons for necros, eles, clones, renegades, spirits and minis.
  12. but then again it is herald's thing, something they advertised heavily using Rytlock as the marketing tool and such. We've been telling how banner bundles should be fixed since old forums was a thing. Was the solution removing it all? That's just as mad as removing mesmer portals.
  13. reading suggestions banners sticked to the back with dread. even pennon flags... man that's a warrior not a cheesy festival. jesus christ. just NO. rest of the mechanics are pretty cool though.
  14. What you want is totally fair, proper mobilty for banners. But I'd rather have what eso dragonknights' shifting standard's mechanics has than than a banner sticked to my back. Chances are we'll be getting a toggle switch for making it visible/invisible is also another question. So I'll keep it risk free and defend gathering all useful buffs under elite battle standard's bundle. Addition to that, pressing the same skill button for normal banners to summon the banner again to shift its location. Again, No to turning into a walking banner sorry.

  16. literally bought eod for engi and rev especs. I was a bit salty for not having a rifle for my ranger, which makes perfect sense btw a rifle and a ranger, but this bladesword situation just took it to the next level and made me forget about it. Electric Fence - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W) it's simply useless. it could have share some boons with our team. but nope. Bulletproof Barrier - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W) they could have gone with something creative with this skill like making it a toggle skill and activating it would drain flow. or each hit could have drained flow. but nope. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Flow_Stabilizer there are more ways for a warrior to gain fury than the numbers of the stars in the galaxy!
  17. yep, also my biggest concern is that place/pick up dance to stay. it's hilarious to see when entire group is done with their encounter moving forward but the poor warrior running opposite way to pick up their stupid banner. I don't understand why people were cheering when they lost their ability to share some boons with the removal of banner bundles. banner skills needed a buff but instead they traded them this stupid design. Not only that, it was something unique to the warrior. Whirlwind Banner - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W) was able to grant others stability. Compassionate Banner - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W) was able to grant others regen. rest of the banner skills were absolutely garbage, but at least options were there. here summon skills Summon - Guild Wars 2 Wiki (GW2W) even guardian's summon skills, which I believe people find them underwhelming, is way more exciting than warrior banners and arguably, unlike warrior, guard is one of the most resourceful class in the game. and it has good looking animations. that's why I defend either getting bundles back with major improvements or getting pets to carry them again with improvements. about that idea of sticking banners to warriors' backs. just quit suggesting that! bloody hell that's an atrocious design. it's not just a cheap way to solve a problem without caring what kind of weird back item people wear, it's also meaningless since they already have leftover animations from old bundles.
  18. Oh the people who call warrior simple. I can't express how mad I get when some guy calls it that. get yourself a rev or engi and see how its infinitely simpler. and no warrior won't be ruined any further. If anet wants to show some initiative i could think of a few things that probably won't happen. Here how i would have it changed. 1. Remove extra stat buffs coming via banner trait instead turn banners moveable. Aesthetically i prefer a soldier pet carrying it not attached to my back. 2. This pet should be diffrent for each type of banner. For example, defense - a stone dwarf carrying it, pulsing protection, tactics - staff soldier pulsing regen, strength banner - hammer guy, pulsing fury, discipline banner, sunspear, pulsing alacrity. 3. All soldiers other than their pulses should have a use, like a flipped secondary skill activated by pressing the same skill button. Defense - taunt, discipline a single aoe hit, strenght-target pull, tactics - an extra direct healing pulse. 4. Instead of replanting the banners game, warriors self heals should heal soldiers when they die, cooldown starts. This would give a reason to use shout heals and not use all banners at the same time. 5. Elite banner can stay as it is. Untraited banner mechanics can stay as it is to those who like that play style. These are my thoughts.
  19. Why bother? Don't bother. Been there done that. I gave up after years tbh. Switched to revenant it's a blessing. Anet situation is an example why the old school mmo is a dead concept and why steam workshop has a future and these mmos don't. If this game had legal private servers that you can mod, people would have come up with a thousand diffrent solutions for the balance already.
  20. I don't have any issues with the numbers you suggested, Let me ask some questions, mean no disrespect I really appreciate posts like this. Anyway, before anything else don't you think they should fix the role distrubition among the classes first? is it ok for a class tank support heal while dealing equal and more damage than a dps only class? if you see this as an issue like me, do you think giving more damage to warrior at this point would adress anyting?
  21. This rooting thing is another story. If i sit there for a mintute gloriously charging up like a kittening mannequin and you are so dumb to got hit by thay, i should be able to one shot you, period. Damage in pvp is pathetic. It's not too late to give main hand pistol that has 2 nice utility skills. A smoke filed surely will come in handy and a proper pull! Aka grappling hook! Can you please!
  22. A range based spec was long overdue for warriors, and look how the newb who made this espec restricted a gun to melee range. mind blowing.
  23. no but acts like teleport and I find it very useful in pvp maps that require you to use shadowsteps and ports to reach a higher ground.
  24. There should be some room for customization but not changing entire gunsaber model. A seperate menu to customize gunsaber related stuff. these are imo needed 2 slots for changing runes 2 or 3 slots for changing the colours of it wanna make things interesting? add two silders, first slider adjusts flow spending bullet loading time but also increases and decrases the damage of dragon trigger skills second slider trades range distance of all f1 and f2 skills with their damage output. (current settings is same the max melee for this slider.)
