  1. I believe you are wrong. People use only one build most of the time simply because they can't be bothered to manually change everything each time they feel like playing a different build, so they stick to one. As soon as build templates become available, people will be more prone to use different builds when they feel like it.
  2. Only the two Accessories from Dungeon completion can be obtained via Laurels once unlocked:https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Carrion#Trinkets_2 (Don't miss the "Further results..." link below.) P.S. Here's the page from which I started: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Prefixes
  3. With the new drop system and 32-slot bags, not necessarily. However, over time you will appreciate more inventory space. I suggest you wait until that time comes for you. No need to be hasty about it. :) While 32-slot bags are cool, they're a higher per-slot cost than trading gold to gems to buy a bag slot, and getting a 20-slot bag on the TP. Assuming starting with 20-slot bags in all slots, upgrading one to 32-slot is approximately 110 gold for 12 more inventory slots, or just over 9g/slot.Buying 400 gems is about 135g, plus 10g for the bag is approx 145g for 20 more slots, or just over 7g/slot.Thanks for doing the math. Yes, it's costly for sure. I still prefer larger bags than too many bag slots, though, as I like to keep my inventory window relatively small and the scrolling can get tedious.
  4. Events always extend to ~3 hours after patch time. It'll end today for sure. I'll only miss the race, to be honest.
  5. When I use an external link, the HTML tag gets implemented into the actual address, hence leads to a "Page Not Found" error. Example: https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/pci-express-scaling-game-performance-analysis-review
  6. What is your current graphics card? Did you re-install the driver for the new slot? What OS do you use? That's all vital information. P.S. Interesting article: https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/pci-express-scaling-game-performance-analysis-review
  7. With the new drop system and 32-slot bags, not necessarily. However, over time you will appreciate more inventory space. I suggest you wait until that time comes for you. No need to be hasty about it. :) I don't quite understand. Do you mean crafted bags? They aren't available at the Gem Store. Depends on which items you already own that are of use for each character. I suggest you don't buy anything until you feel you really need it. Shared Slots and inventory bag space, as well as additional bank tabs, are available for purchase throughout the whole year - they even are on sale every now and then, so no need to hurry.
  8. I enjoy all professions, except Mesmer (who is only fun for porting people in PvE and casting veil in WvW, some might also enjoy the occasional tanking in raids). I prefer to deal good damage, and Mesmer just doesn't provide in comparison, which is unfun in open world solo play.
  9. To me, expansions are a necessity, because they are better than LW content on many levels. Again, see my sig.
  10. I want an adventurer's backpack, one that doesn't feature oversized hats that are three times the person's head size nor some huge crooked horns that ruin an otherwise cool looking back item. Something like this:
  11. You don't need expansions. Don't speak for everyone else. What you don't "need" others yearn for for a reason. Look at my signature...
  12. First of all, there is a 1st person perspective that you have in ego shooters. It's called action cam. Second, "not a real game"? I'm confused. The term "real" doesn't make sense to me, since playing the game doesn't feel like a dream but like me sitting in front of a computer screen using a real keyboard and mouse for input to actually play the game.
  13. There are nay-sayers in-game as well. ;) It's best to just ignore the negativity. Criticism is one thing, but exaggerations like "The fall of [...]" are unnecessary. That's true, though.
  14. I stopped at +20 on all of my chars, for all the builds I play, because everything beyond that is just crazy in price. By the way, it does make a noticeable difference underwater, especially when you are trying to flee in WvW. ;) I'm certain there will be new PvE water content in the future.
  15. While I appreciate criticism of the game, as I am one of its vocal critics, I didn't bother to read the whole OP, because - with a title like this - you are just making matters worse. If you "predict" the "fall", you are only more likely to make it happen - because it's demotivating for devs and players alike to read such a negative statement ("final judgment").
  16. I'm partially with the OP on this. The Dragon Bash turned out to be a great disappointment (for me, at least), and repeating the World Boss Rush, which is hardly content per se, isn't particularly satisfying, either. However, I am not expecting any news regarding LWS 5 until after the upcoming Festival of the Four Winds.
  17. My "dream Skyscale" would be the Shimmerwing skin without its firefly wings but default Skyscale wings instead.
  18. That I doubt. On the contrary, people will start playing different builds a lot more often when they are in the mood for it.
  19. Champion Runs (you mean Boss Runs, I assume?) are not listed in the same category as dungeons. Try look under "Dungeons". It's Tuesday morning. Most people are at work. Could explain the lack of available players/groups. There are no servers in open world PvE. The population you mentioned only counts for WvW. PvE servers are devided into "NA" and "EU".
  20. Yes. That's not necessarily an issue with your computer but with ANet's server performance and the game's optimization. The same happens to pretty much everyone, including skill lags during big group events. People have to decrease their player model settings for that reason during such populated events.
  21. I can provide you with some helpful links: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/comment/581676#Comment_581676 P.S. The personal story is the only part where you get to choose your path, so enjoy it while it lasts. They've dumped the concept after the core campaign. :/
  22. Only if the game took place before GW1. I wouldn't play an even more futuristic GW than we already have, with all those strange design choices that constantly break immersion. Edit: I'm still on team GW2, hoping that the game will get improvements, technical and content-wise.
  23. While I am glad that we finally have PvE bonus weeks after all these years, I wish there was more variety to them. (For instance, I wouldn't mind another double-XP bonus week with special rewards for map completion, if they can't come up with something different altogether.) I hope not.
  24. Really? Since the game still exists, the servers are still running, people are playing this game and it still receives new content frequently, I think your statement is simply untrue. That was the point of their post, Bless crashed and burned without a trace on release outside of Asia after being the next dream game that everyone would play.Okay, never heard of it, hence didn't catch the sarcasm. ;) By the way, never played WoW, so I had to look up the "big news". What a curious concept to release the game again, so to speak, from scratch.
